you are very welcome to the programme. you are very welcome to the programme. plenty of sport to come, but we'll start with the old firm derby in scotland, where celtic came out on top at home against rangers. a brilliant goalfrom kyogo furuhashi proved the difference, as they won 2—1 to extend their lead at the top of the scottish premiership to 8 points over their opponents, rangers do have two games in hand however. patrick gearey watched the action. there is no noise quite like this, especially when you're not used to it. for philippe clement, the new rangers boss, this was the introduction to one of football's most intense matches, loud and about to get louder.

it's been a long time since we won a game and you forget how difficult it is to win matches in this league. the second halves and the latter part of the second half always worry you a bit because you seem to lose a lot of the football that has got you _ in the lead and suddenly the opposing team look to be creating chances every time the attack. we earned our luck a little bit towards the end, they came very close to getting at least one more goal. but throughout the game, i am really happy with the way the team both defended and attacked. wolves stormed to an impressive 3—0 win over everton, meaning they end the year in 11th position, just three points off an european place. the hosts goals came from skipper max kilman, matheus cunha and craig dawson. everton looked off the pace, it's now three straight defeats and leaves them just one point above the relegation zone. gary 0'neil, meanwhile, is thrilled with his team. i thought they were really fit
