what do we know about these allegations? what's the likley timeline for this investigation? what we knew at the moment from red bull pass back perspective is that these are recent allegations made against christian horner by a female colleague. we know that they are taking it incredibly seriously and they have launched an independent investigation. they are saying nothing more about what those claims relate to. we understand that the claims relate to allegedly inappropriate and controlling behaviour towards a female colleague. christian horner denies those allegations. we know that in terms of the timeline all that red bull are saying at the moment, bearing in mind that this is being handled by the parent company based in austria, they say that this will be done as soon as is practically

possible. they are not really putting any more timeline on it and clearly they wouldn't want to rush it. everyone in formula i will know that the next season is just around the corner. whatever the outcome of this hearing, laura, the new fi season is just around the corner and what happens to homer impacts not only red bull but the sport as a whole. it really does. this matcher is overshadowing the build—up to the season. it is only last week that we thought new story could get bigger than the news that lewis hamilton was leaving mercedes for ferrari. next week here at the factory in milton keynes the new car for the seasonis milton keynes the new car for the season is set to be unveiled. christian horner was expected to have been front and centre at that but it is hard to see how you could do that if this investigation is still ongoing because quite clearly it has raised a number of questions

and the speculation is furious about his future in red bull. he denies the allegations, but this has raised a lot of questions about whether he will be able to stay on as both team principal and chief executive and where he to leap what would that mean for the team this season? last season there were hugely dominant, winning 21 out of 22 races, and they would be hoping to pick up where they left off. if he were to go to leave a vacancy as team principal at the start of the season and no team would want that ahead of defending their titles. would want that ahead of defending theirtitles. but would want that ahead of defending their titles. but we have to let this process run its course. there are so many rumours going around the world of formula i. here at red bull racing there will be hoping that they can start the season and focus on the racetrack, but at the moment christian horner�*s future within formula i is injeopardy.

his family have since been searching for his memorabilia and found one very important piece in the northern irish town of dungannon belonging to record—breaking racer ryan farquhar. stephen watson has the story. among ryan farquhar�*s personal racing collection, something belonging to one of his heroes. ryan acquired eddie kidd's leathers when he swapped a set of his own with a collector. i'd watched many of his jumps and you know, was always fascinated with eddie and evel knievel. when i was a child i had a, you know, the toy, the evel knievel toy. eddie kidd was a stuntman and a movie star. he doubled forjames bond and once jumped the great wall of china. he was also very generous, giving away most of his memorabilia until his accident. now his family are trying to recover it. ijust think it's, if eddie

would like them back, you know, i think it's the right thing to do. it's something i'm really looking forward to. so we helped organise a special delivery to peacehaven outside brighton, where eddie is looked after by his carer, glen. all right, eddie? good to see you, boy. he wants a fist pump. i've got a wee something here you might like. a wee birdie told me you might like these back. i know you gave them to charity, so i think it's only right that they come back to where they belong. they�* re need cleaned. ah, brilliant! you can see, they're quite a bit stained, but you have them back. 1978 is the last time eddie can remember being pictured performing in the leathers. i'm really pleased that i can give something back to such a special person that unfortunately has ended up with the disabilities that he has, but, you know,

hello, you're watching bbc news with me, frankie mccamley. let's continue with our top story this hour, that the duke of sussex has won further "substantial" damages after settling the rest of his phone hacking claim against mirror group newspapers. the high court heard the company had accepted an offer to settle the claim made by the prince. here is what prince harry's barrister, david sherborne, had to say outside the court a short time ago. as you know, prince harry, duke of sussex, couldn't be present today. however he has prepared a statement, following mirror group's acceptance of the remainder of his claim, and their agreement to pay substantial, additional damages to him, as well as his costs. i will now read that statement on his behalf. "after our victory in december,

mirror group have finally conceded the rest of my claim, which would have consisted of another two trials, additional evidence, and 115 more articles. everything we said was happening at mirror group, was in fact happening. and indeed far worse, as the court ruled in its extremely damaging judgment. as the judge has said only this morning, we have uncovered and proved the shockingly dishonest way in which the mirror acted for so many years, and then sought to conceal the truth. in light of this we call again for the authorities to uphold the rule of law, and to prove that no—one is above it. that includes mr morgan, who, as editor, knew perfectly well what was going on, as thejudge held. even his own employer realised it simply could not call him as a witness of truth at the trial.
