great britain won five golds on a remarkable day at the second regatta of the rowing world cup series in switzerland. emily craig and imogen grant winning one of those here in the lightweight women's double sculls, with britain also winning a silver and a bronze today. this was the last competition before gb rowing decide their olympic selection for paris this summer. a reminder of our top story before we go. southampton at beaded lead to the chip playoff at wembley. adam armstrong school proving the difference for the saints make an immediate return back to the premier league at the expense of leads. cabbage football again next season. congratulations to southampton for the alder to that game on the bbc website and the out. that is all the sport for now. we will see you

they say you never forget how to ride a bike — but what about playing the piano? one woman has started tickling the ivories again after a break of 80 years — thanks to the help of a teenage volunteer. 90—year—old sybil — who is blind — moved into a care home injanuary, at the same time that aaliyah began volunteering there —

and they bonded over a shared love of music, as juliette phillips reports. she has never lost her love of music and now rediscovered her passion for performing put up after decade she was inspired to return to the piano i thought, i love doing that lovely music that is. i wish i could've kept on my piano lessons. playing like that. add be able to be happy in this carers home. add make all the other people happy. since then they pair have become quite the double act for the even losing her eyesight hasn't stopped civil patiently practising

to relearn all the notes. never give up in life. never. keep going, if you give up you lost it. what is it like when the two of you are playing together? happiness, sheer happiness. 17—year—old leah has been working at the care home as a volunteer way studying social care at college. despite their 73 year age gap she and sybil have struck up quite a bond. the first time she ever played i hadn't expected her to play on the piano, i thought should press a few notes — she played for hours, she loved it. i've never played with another person on the piano with me. never with someone for that she does really like it and i like how happy it makes her. the knife and fork to the left. sybil only moved in a few months ago.

staff at the care home tell me she settled in much better sense playing music again. you've got a cup of tea if you wanted. she was quite distressed when she first came in. since she started the music and playing the piano again she is much calmer. no one knew that sybil could play the piano. her family didn't know. and the fact she'd gone blind several years ago, it's a beautiful story for the up the joy on her face when she is playing isjust amazing. when she completes her studies elia is hoping to work in the care home permanently. no doubt there will be plenty more performances to come. juliet phillips, bbc news. aye tozer is best known as a member of the squeaky clean pop group steps but she's embracing her darker side for her latest project. faye's playing the fur—coat—loving baddie cruella di vil in a stage version of "101 dalmatians — the musical". kirsteen o'sullivan went to meet her. # tragedy # when you lose control and you got no soul # it's tragedy. ..# their upbeat dance tracks are iconic, and now steps�* faye tozer is playing the lead

in 101 dalmatians: the musical — none other than cruella de vil. i have had that rage and wickedness on stage before, and i feel like she's going to be a heightened extension of that, i literally can't wait to get my teeth into her. it's so lovely to do a role that is polar opposite to what people see me in as usual. faye has enjoyed a career spanning stage and screen. she says she loves theatre and is embracing the ageing process. there was a gap in my career, i think, where your�*e too old to be the princess and you're too young to really morph into the next character — the mother or whatever. i'm really finding joy in the character roles that i am being offered these days. faye is a busy mum, and being a performer often means time on the road away from herfamily, something she says

is simply par for the course. i'm not the only type ofjob that works away from home. you know, we've got our people in the army, on the rigs, everybody who has to work away. and i think it's a really good example to set your children that you're hard—working and you love yourjob. the 101 dalmatians musical arrives at the marlowe theatre this summer, and faye can't wait to perform in kent. i've done a few shows here. i did singing in the rain, 42nd street. i'm a big fan of canterbury anyway. i've got my favourite restaurants around, i know where i'm going to be staying, so i'm really excited to come back. and canine lovers in the audience are in for a treat. we are actually touring with a real live dalmatian puppy. the thing is going to get smothered. this is the bestjob ever. so you've got a little puppy coming onto it with you? yes. where is it going to sleep? in my bed — i'm going to steal it. ioi dalmatians arrives at the marlowe theatre

particularly across southern scotland and a good part of england. temperatures as a result of more showers around will be lower than yesterday. noticeably so in scotland, but we still could make 21 in the south east of england if we miss most of those showers. but those heavy showers will continue into the evening. they'll fade away from much of england and wales overnight. but we'll see some further wet weather coming back into northern ireland and scotland later on in the night. clearer skies in the south could see temperatures dipping away to eight or nine degrees. but the promise of some early sunshine, at least, for central and eastern parts of england. however, scattered showers will build up through the day. this time, the focus of the heavier downpours with some thunderstorms is more across northern and eastern parts of scotland, this time. there will be some sunshine around with those showers building up too, and it will feel pleasantly warm in the sunshine, i suspect. but those temperatures are typically going to be 16 or 17 degrees on bank holiday monday afternoon. one area of low pressure that's bringing all the showers at the moment will be replaced by another one coming in from the atlantic for tuesday.

and that will push cloud northwards and eastwards and bring with it this showery rain as well. could get a bit wetter through the day across northern ireland and later into northern england. the best of the dry weather this time, after all those heavy showers on monday, will be across north eastern parts of scotland. typical temperatures around about 17 degrees or so on tuesday. now, that area of low pressure continues to push across the uk on tuesday night into wednesday. and so we'll see some further rain or showers, some of which could be heavy and thundery. so wetter weather across southern scotland, northern england, driving down across other parts of england and wales to be followed by some heavy, perhaps thundery showers in scotland. this time the driest weather looks like to be in northern ireland. and again, those temperatures around 16 or 17 degrees. those temperatures aren't really going to change much over the weekend. it's about what we'd expect at this time of the year. quite a changeable week ahead, though, it has to be said, with some further heavy showers. signs, though, with high pressure around later, it could turn drier.
