in good medical condition, we are told. this is the hospital where they are being brought to to be checked and to be met by their families who have been brought there to wait for them. this is the medical centre where they are going to be treated. security forces are making every effort to bring other hostages home, we are told by our middle east correspondent who is in jerusalem. as of the 3rd ofjune a total of 120 hostages remained unaccounted for after being kidnapped last october. according to israel 251 israelis and foreigners were taken during those attacks. as were taken during those attacks. as we know israel has been going to enormous lengths to try to find out the whereabouts of these hostages. we can show you some of the pictures that we have got of some of the

israel will no doubt do everything they can to make sure these people are in good shape and are looked after well. we have a little bit more information about one of the people it was taken and has been released. shlomi ziv, who is 40, was part of the security detail at the nova festival last year. we are currently looking at noa argamani. just tell you more about shlomi ziv, it was initially in contact with sisters, as the festival unfolded. a few years later the family learned he was officially considered to be a hostage but he is now one of the people who has been released today in what israel have said is a complex operation. it would have taken a great deal of planning if they are going into the central gaza strip. they may not know quite they

are facing. the other side of the story is that the health ministry in gaza, which is run by hamas, is also keeping a toll of those who have died. they are saying that the current death toll of palestinians in the gaza strip is now 36,000 801. the israeli government often takes issue with these death toll figures that they are the figures that are produced by the health ministry that operates in the gaza strip. just to remind you, just to repeat, that four of the israeli hostages have now been rescued and they are being taken to the tel—hashomer medical centre forfurther

this raid to rescue these hostages. reports are emerging from gaza suggesting a huge number of civilian casualties. the hospital in alex, which has been receiving some of those casualties, say at least 50 have been confirmed dead as a result of this huge operation. four hostages have been released. daniel hagari in that statement said the israeli military would continue to carry out operations to release the remaining hostages who remain in captivity in gaza. 116 people who were kidnapped during the hamas attacks on the 7th of october remain in captivity in gaza. one third of these hostages have been confirmed dead. there has been a lot of pressure on the prime minister to reach a deal with hamas for these hostages to be freed. the family say the time is running out to guarantee their release. obviously this is going to be celebrated by the families of the hostages who are still waiting for their loved ones to be released.
