minutes down there before they have to resurface but they have been aided in their search by little robots, remote controlled vehicles, as they are known, which have been able to look around as well in the area of the wreck itself and what we understand is that the yacht is on its side, there was a lot of debris, makes it very difficult and dangerous for the divers and we have seen different groups of them coming and going in their orange diving suits and this is extremely difficult work and also there has been support of coast from the coastguard, we've seen vessels of the shipwreck and also every so often hear helicopters flying low overhead, police force drones and an enormous effort under way to find the missing person which we now believe to be hannah lynch,

been an enormous amount of interest and concern over the last few days. indeed and it must have been an agonising, has been an agonising time forfamily and agonising, has been an agonising time for family and friends waiting for news, hoping against hope that perhaps their loved ones would be delivered up from the sea i live we know that one person is still missing and that his 18—year—old... believed to be 18—year—old hannah lynch. —— delivered up alive. still a search for her but i really agonising time for everyone involved, and a high—profile case, and an enormous yacht, itself, and there are a number people saying, how is it that this boat was so badly damaged in this extreme weather event? and a lot of

you would expect and partly because he had a very rapid rise in the technology sector but he also fell from grace very abruptly at the beginning of the last decade. his ascension came when he was one of a number of entrepreneurs who came out of cambridge university and that his doctorate there, studied there, and he was one of the first people really to realise how much you could use all the expertise from cambridge university in the newly developing technology rolled around the turn of the century so he founded a company called autonomy in 1996 and that was a company that did data crunching for large businesses, data crunching and searches. it did something where it went through a low point we are many technology companies did when the technology bubble burst but in the technology bubble burst but in the early 2000, that decade, it grew rapidly, took control of many of its rivals, became a big player in the

lynch lost, prosecutors came on board in the united states and ultimately he was extradited to the us to face 14 charges of fraudulent behaviour. in the us, if you are charged with these things, what happens with most people is they reach a plea deal where they plead guilty to a lower charge, get a lower sentence rather than fighting their case in court where they may end up with a much stiffer sentence and mike lynch was clearly a risk taker and chose not to do this, he fought his case and just a few weeks ago, he was acquitted, a really unusual outcome for fraud cases ago, he was acquitted, a really unusual outcome forfraud cases in united states but he took that risk, got the rewards and was exonerated and this expedition on the boat in sicily was a gathering of his friends, family and indeed his lawyers as well to celebrate his acquittal. lawyers as well to celebrate his ac uittal. ., ., lawyers as well to celebrate his acuuittal. ., ., ., ~ , ., acquittal. for the moment, thank you

the weather looks very unsettled for the next couple of days throughout the afternoon. today it's going to stay blustery for all areas, particularly towards the north and the west where we'll have most of the showers. but there will be quite a bit of sunshine around though, staying rather grey and cloudy across the southeast of england, courtesy of this weather front. however, we look to the atlantic to this next system, which has now been named by the met office as storm lilian. it's likely to cause some impacts as it races in during the overnight period, so the rain starts to pep up across much of southern scotland into northern ireland, large parts of england and wales. and the winds really pick up around this developing storm for wales, the midlands, northern england could see damaging gusts in excess of 70 miles an hour in exposure near the coast. those damaging winds then continue to cross parts of the midlands, wales, northern england through friday morning, just in time for the rush. but as the rain and the winds clear away and the thundery showers still brighten up into the afternoon, plenty of sunshine, but they'll be blustery showers across northern and western areas. the winds really a feature, as you can see the wind gusts up there though, easing down as we head into the latter part of friday. temperatures wise high teens in the north 22 or 23 in the south,
