move by biden to really put things on the other side of the ledger after all of the criticism he received from the asylum? yeah. it's interesting. you just basically make no one happy oh, no. >> it's not an immigration is such a complicated issue. >> ones white collar what's has not been able to deal with this? well, exactly. and this is biden has been criticizing congress for not being able to pass anything, particularly that immigration bill that you covered that that really went further than a lot of democratic presidents would have. absolutely. it's interesting you look at just the numbers. this is break down a little bit about first. is how do biden support? what does trump supporters look at the idea of whether undocumented people who are undocumented be allowed to stay in the country if certain circumstances are met. biden supporters versus trump's supporters, 85% of biden supporters compared to 32% of trump supporters. that isn't calling to pew survey that was from april, but it did come out recently the way that is such a significant difference. and then you look at the about deporting all

migrants, which is pretty much undocumented immigrants, which is pretty much trump's policies. they're going to have a roundup. there's deportation system favor 62% 38% oppose this idea. generally deporting all undocument immigrants going to cbs news poll. the politics are just so divided, particularly on the left on the right, the question of course, is how to independent voters do and that is the question what biden needs? >> is this a very similar coalition to get them across the finish line because we know this, this is gonna be an election and said this over and over again. it's going to be decided on the merchant in the hispanic voters would be a key are key part of the coalition as well. you look at how biden has been did and with hispanic voters in 2020 vs now, there is some slippage. if you believe the public polling here is 65% supported biden back in 2020 compared to 32 for trump, that his dropped in that is not

consistent. but what we are seeing in other public polling, 52, 47, according to a recent quinnipiac pole, is this the type of action though that obviously you can't, it's hard. you can't campaign. hispanic voters are a problem. well, definitely vote on a lot of different issues. but how do you think this works and is placed like nevada and arizona where there are significant number of hispanic voters who will be critical for biden here. >> i think we'll have to wait and see honestly on which is the absolute worst answer. but it, but it's true because you're absolutely right as manic voters are like a lot of others, they vote on a lot of different things that things like the economy, if things like replace that as economy's not doing so well, exactly. and so we're going to have to wait and see, but certainly something like this when it comes to rhetoric tends to appeal more than maybe some of the things you hear coming from the trump campaign, both previously and now. yeah. >> and speaking of trump, i we will see he'll be speaking in racine, wisconsin. yes, i have today just outside of

between putin and kim i, think it's really big. i mean, vladimir putin right now is involved in this war against ukraine. and one of the main sources for ballistic missiles. and also for ammunition is north korea and there are a lot of payoffs we can talk about that, but, but that's one. and then almost the bigger concern is what does north korea get out of this? and that could be really high-tech from russia, that could be used in a variety of ways. military pores for north korea. so it's a very big deal and what implications do you think there are for the war in ukraine and whether kim and north korea will what did support. >> but as military support behind what pudding is trying to do and ukraine well, i mean, if you look at the military situation immediately north korea has been producing these.

>> let's call it first ammunition. and they've supplied according to the south korean 5 million rounds of ammunition in addition to ballistic missiles. so north korea is happy to continue to provide that forever. and so russia obviously needs it and that is the match. that we have. but also, i think if you look at ukraine, because ukraine is not just ukraine, the war is much bigger and the implications are much bigger. so this allows russia to create problems for the united states because again, north korea already is trying to launch missiles. it has a nuclear program probably 50 warheads, 500 at this point. so it creates another big distraction for the united states. and that's exactly what vladimir putin wants to do. >> i do want you to weigh in about, obviously we're in the middle of a campaign season and

about. >> obviously, trump thinks in terms of personal relationships, if he has a good relationship with kim jong on, then things can happen. of course, that didn't work under the trump admin it's variation because that overture kind of fell apart and kim went back and was very angry at the united states and especially it's at the trump administration. but i think that's the problem because these leaders china, north korea, russia, are not basing their foreign policy on how nice a us president is, or how they get along. they are in really transactional terms, even the relationship between north korea and russia is transactional. they both need each other so i think the main, the you have to look at what concretely is happening and right now, the thing that should worry and does worry the united states is looking at those satellite pictures of
