a with a new palestinian government in the old problems. it is suppose to fix, i mean intense international pressure to make major reforms. the palestinian authority on thursday presented its new government prime minister mohammed mustafah will head the new cabinet and says that ending the war in gaza will be top priority . now there are several hurdles here. however, from us, not the policy and the authority controls. guys have and of course there is a war there more than $1000000.00 into our now sheltering in the southern city of ruffled israel pursues its offensive against tomas militants responsible for the october 7th terror attacks. israel says an attack on rough, it's necessary to destroy moss, its biggest ally, the united states, disagree. the aftermath of an air strike and rough uh, a now all too familiar theme. rescuers digging bodies out of rubble. of the things with normal that is be no trouble here. the strikes just come at random. the are

the about 1500000 people live here after fleeing is really operations in the north from kansas city to hon. eunice. and finally, to rafa the end of the line where food and medicine shortages threatened an imminent famine, as well as disease outbreaks. but it's unclear how long people can stay or how safe they'll be marked areas on this map show where israel has been conducting ground operations in gaza, with troops coming close to rafa. but so far, israel has only conducted airstrikes here without sending in ground troops elsewhere. fierce ground fighting continues with assaults on targets around because of city and hun, eunice ongoing israel's allies, patients is growing sent and both the us and germany have said that a ground incursion into rough up would be crossing a red line. us secretary of state antony blinking,
3:06 am
visited the region last week to deliver that message. it risk killing more civilians. it was reading great or having the version of the manager and assistance . it was further isolating is really around the world and jeopardize is long term security in spanish. but israel has been ignoring these calls from its closest allies. it says it will fulfill its goal of destroying her mouse. and that means an invasion of rasa is necessary even at the risk of a deeper rift between israel and the us. and will be gone, defeat from us about going into rafa. i told the secretary blink, and i hope to do that with the support of united states. but if we need to, we will do it alone. that's a little bit of a israel says it will move civilians from rough i into humanitarian islands elsewhere and gaza on his released no concrete plans while i'm joined now by
3:07 am
y'all have now go. he's the former is really national security advisor to the is really prime minister. he's now with the foundation for defense of democracies. that's a us based non partisan research institute intel is. we're not going to have you with this. israel is the biggest allied united states does not want a full scale attack in ruffin. we heard last week from mister netanyahu that raffle will happen with or without us support. do you think that the prime minister should rethink his position a long way? but i think it's very, very important to be complete and accurate on what our biggest l i that really helping us since the more than a month ago for october, the 7th. yep. and what is the thing in the same? what did jeep shuffle saying? what is the other thing and usually with them, think so is that we should not go into a big goal and i know that enough i'd be full. we can insure as much as
3:08 am
we can, the situation of the refugees that move one to know in the center to offer. so we have to move the 5th here. the only reason that the opposite is you need to offer is not starting yet now. well, we're talking about then movement, mrs. are, is that happening? what happening? we're no, no, it wouldn't have been. this is why law fi is gone. model is not starting here. they totaled up and i'll still use an order to the refugees or the people that came from the knows themselves into other places like wasi mil to see like other bases a long drive of the relatively safe when the window what have we do? i haven't mr. yeah, but it, it will happen because the, yeah, usually eh,
3:09 am
administration bomb is doing no that states our life that they will show them the plan because it's all to approve it, but they will show them the plan before the end. so it won't happen. often. we will do it without the a vote in do you and it was not the life by the united states, but really to, that's been this week. some people say maybe it wouldn't be a mystery, but the most important thing is the diesel was attacked by a group of people out think and a so you'll have to get before. yeah, it, but the students that did you didn't even mention the one on the and so at the, for us to just keep the lake and the continued to be very by the how much in their garza, this is the most important thing. we'll do know that when we make a lot of this and we're not going to delete without going into alpha in the story
3:10 am
and eliminate the come us, it has the deals and the pot hiding behind the people missing. i mean, i just want to be clear, we have not heard from the is really prime minister that, that there is a concrete plan for relocating hundreds of thousands of on line when what is there a plan on the table to the yes, there is a plan and you should do it because if you listen to what you said, you say that i ordered the above the plans of the idea and i pulled the plans to move the people of alpha put and much more safe place. again, the one that is supposed to be the organization, him entity that is, is supposed to been for the suffering goes up and it off or is the come off? the idea behind it is a people they are is seen well and day if and as is and i was still loaded by
3:11 am
hostages and by their own people, they don't care the people of guys that would stuff available. and would it be kids that even maybe have a further develop it, which is the same 3rd, it would be easiest for them, but they will cannot. and before we bring back all of the just home or the bodies, and of course we have to keep on capital the lead dose of how much they at least supposedly, or the most i get that they need. we came under week without entering and doing offer in or the, you know, that done the just, we didn't get any of the, let me just ask you, understand the international communities of skepticism here about just the realistic chance about moving it about moving an entire population out of rafa before the city is going to be attacked. i mean, is that
3:12 am
a realistic plan and how long would that take? ok, so i would ask you, you know, the jewish people usually answer the question by question. it was the same skepticism and the same, but understanding when we say that we will go into guides of safety, the nose of about in the mon and as of incentives on eunice. and then other places before we move the refugees, that the mountains offer. and this is exactly, we do need after october 7 to 3 weeks before we enter the guys that we've been going to bill, we need, it's already after we move the paper to do it. so no, just comparing these release into the really expand at the top. okay. not politically. the best 10 digits of see really and big kids in this world compared to the till the end of the week. it is the lowest ever endured. it's one think
3:13 am
then. yeah, no, it doesn't mean anything any, as i usually just committed to most or all the other places. if we, if we have about about in the game every see really on every, on the board one you, there is very, very said, but these, because on the come us. but it's $1.00 to $1.00 once to really and one point or fleecy really on to the table least it's usually $1.00 to $10.00. didn't see really as only still with the offer in the gaza and didn't know it's one to 1.3 is the best wish to again nice to said west, but it's the the lowest the ratio between c really and they'll always be kid. and in this, the reason that that'd be guilty only because of the how much is missing. i really want to get to the time we'd have to do. we would have to do it. we have to do it.
3:14 am
after we'd be able to know the majority of the paper forms alpha to a the best deal in most a few places. let me get your reaction to the the news coming today. from the west bank. the boss has announced the formation of a, of a new government, your reaction to that. and what does that mean for the future of guys? if anything was, is really good luck in the line. some of the i would don't go to the west bank. well, you go to judy on some of the wisdom, very good luck. they have a lot of them just to make sure that the population of education to al sewage is in our lives and our the fees are not supposed to be disposable on security. there is no, the official ends that he's not going to be at least until there will be change if that makes sense as a week to recapitalize,
3:15 am
revitalize the company that like or those mice ward let them do it. and then we'll talk a didn't know the police didn't authority the putting money to the deal. we families to the teach the, to the new schools out to 8 and kids. they usually when do change, we can talk about it. and then the other student authority, the all of them on the new one. they don't have any food and they won't have any eh, official, jo, being garza. and again, i use a very good luck in judy and some of the, the walk you lose it. it's been over unfortunately, we are out of time, but we certainly do appreciate you taking the time to talk with us. you all could narrow the former is really national security adviser to the prime minister. thank you. i thank you very much. thank you. when now to the crypto king, who is now the crypto convict headed for present, from a millionaire, san basement free,
3:16 am
there's been sentenced to 25 years in prison for stealing billions of dollars from his crypto exchange platform. at the x, a prosecutors had one did 50 years in prison. they say they've been free, defrauded tens of thousands of customers from around the world, spending over $8000000000.00 of their savings on his luxury homes and risky investments. last november, the jury found him guilty on 7 counts of fraud conspiracy and money laundering. they've been freed, founded f t expect in 2019, and a quickly grew into one of the largest crypto currency exchanges in the world. millions of users logged on to buy and sell crypto token and such as bitcoin. billions of dollars passed through the site every single day. a customers thought that their cash was safe, but they've been free to use that cash to fund his own personal investments. and also to prop up as lawsuits with news broke, that f t. x was on shaky financial ground. people tried to withdraw their funds to run on the bank and could say, but their money was long gone. when f t x filed for bankruptcy, bank been fried,
3:17 am
says that his own personal fortune of some $16000000000.00 had been wiped out too. during his sentencing, the former billionaire fell short of apologizing, flaming. he just made some honest, simple mistakes. he said it haunts me every day. i made a series of bad decisions. they were selfish decisions. they weren't self less decisions, they were bad decisions. my next guest tonight is regarding this one of the most prominent crypto currency researchers and critics. please to welcome back to the program. molly, why small? it's good to see your 25 years in prison. did sam bakeman free? did he get what he deserved? as i think he did a, a prison sentence of that length is pretty monumental, even though it's less than what the prosecutor is requested. and i think it will,
3:18 am
you know, provide that kind of deterrent effect to others who are potentially thinking of trying the same types of schemes. and it will certainly prevent him from trying again in the near future, which i think is one of the most important things. do you think there are other sam bakeman freed out there already in the crypto currency world, who are already, you know, pushing and leading ponzi schemes galore? unfortunately, i do. um the curb to curb mc industry is full of people likes and they've been freed. and it's full of fraudulent enterprises like f t x and there hasn't been much change in the regulatory landscape, especially in the united states. but i think would prevent such a disaster from happening again. so while you know, i'm happy to see why it hasn't. there been a change to the regulations. yeah. why do you think there's
3:19 am
a scenario attempts to pass new regulation has been pretty unsuccessful thus far. and the, you know, the legislature has been very torn on how they want to go about this. and attempts by regulatory agencies like the securities and exchange commission have begun to meet with resistance from lawmakers because crypto has become such a political issue in the united states. and so i think any changes to regulation are going to be very hard fight and, and thus far, none have really emerged. i mean, what, you would think we're talking about money here, but it's not just somebody explain for our viewers. why is it political in the united states now? there is a very strong ideology behind crypto is that plays into some of the political issues that are very hot topics in the united states around whether or not governments should be able to interfere with people's financial lives. you know, whether or not there should be more of a hands off approach to how people handle their own finances. and that has become
3:20 am
sort of put the crypto has become a political issue in that sense where particularly people on the republican side of the spectrum. uh, favor sort of a hands off approach or even one that would encourage the industry. whereas i think that strong regulation is needed and more government intervention is needed. so it's, it's become very partisan. yeah, it is kind of like a weapon against the deep state. if you will, you have been called, what are the world's most? um, yep. outspoken, prominent crypt, encourage the critics. what are in your opinion, that the biggest challenges are the biggest issues that you have with this industry as well the prevalence of fraud and the scams in the industry are? it's honestly remarkable how prevalent it's and because there is so little regulatory oversight of the industry,
3:21 am
there's very little disclosure around the types of things people are being told to put their money into. and so people don't always even know who's behind the project that they're getting involved with, how the business works, how the money's being stored, what protections they have, if something goes wrong. and so as a result, people are, you know, taking enormous risks even when they are just being told that someone's going to hold onto the crypto for them, which was kind of the f t x and you know, marketing. and so people are being told, you know, that they can invest in this new asset class, while the industry itself is full of people who are trying to steal those assets away from people. yep. which is largely where my concerns like it. but also we know from the very beginning that if we invested crip occurred on these platforms, we know that these platforms, they are not acting in
3:22 am
a fiduciary role. right. and if that's not their responsibility, um, are you saying that they should be required to be a fiduciary or to look out for the interest of the investor as well? i actually think that it's not that well known that these platforms aren't acting as fiduciary. is there were people in this very lawsuit who said that they believed that f t x. what, how to fiduciary duty to them? and so, you know, there's, there's very little transparency in the industry around what these platforms even are and what can be expected from them. i mean, there have been other collapses where people genuinely believed that these crypto currency companies were on the same level as banks and might even have the types of depository insurance that you could expect from a bank in the united is absolutely not true. but that is how these companies will market themselves to people who don't know enough to go find out for sure. and there, there isn't really a regulator making sure that this isn't happening. you,
3:23 am
you speak a lot about about the height that surrounded crypto currencies and that still remains. by the way, you've said that it's similar to the hype that we are currently seeing around artificial intelligence. tell me about that as well. the tech industry generally generally goes through these hype cycles, where people get very excited about a new piece of technology or a new industry. and what is being said about those technology use becomes very different from the actual reality of us technology use. so we saw it in 2021 or so with the emergence of the idea of web 3, which promised that block chains were going to be the solution to all kinds of problems on the web. despite the fact that the technology was not well suited to it, and i think we're seeing something very similar with artificial intelligence now,
3:24 am
where people are talking about artificial intelligence as you know, soon becoming something that can solve practically any problem you can think of, you know, curing cancer and resolving, grow global warming, and that again is very divorced from the current state of the technology. so i think there's definitely parallels between the hype cycle we saw with crypto in web 3 and the hype cycle. now we're seeing with a i yeah, i think if you bring up a good point to and i think people would love to see a i give us a cure for cancer. i don't think people would welcome losing their jobs in the process through a all right, we will say crypto currency researcher and critic molly wife molly, we appreciate your time and your analysis tonight. thank you. thank you for having me. 3 presidents, one concert and $25000000.00 job i miss keeping up with bill clinton and brock. obama and radio city music hall in new york city for quite

a show ticket starting at $250.00 and an extra 1. 100 grand includes a picture with the current president and his 2 predecessors, democratic predecessors. the buying campaign expects to raise $25000000.00. that would be a new fund raising record. and this hall is white and spiders. lead over his republican rival, donald trump, and fundraising for november's election. but just in time for easter, trump is appealing to the faith in the funds of his mag of supporters. the answer is most pressing prayers. he's selling copies of what he calls his favorite book. that you may remember, trumpet seemed brandishing a bible back in 2020. after protesters were cleared in washington from the nearby church, he says he owns many bibles. the special edition of he's peddling for $60.00 also includes the tax of the us declaration of independence in the us constitution.
3:26 am
trump's website, however, claims that the proceeds will not go to trump's campaign. but that got the attention of the republican group, that is campaign against trump. the lincoln project posted this on social media. let this sink in. trump is selling a bible for $60.00 during holy week. and the money may go towards covering his legal fees for paying off a porn star that he slept with. well married to his pregnant wife christians. do you want this faults, profit governing in your name? there's been a lot of reaction on social media to that. another social media user opposed. simple question. what would jesus do if so while you find it out, i'm going to say that the day is almost done. the conversation is, continues online. you'll find this one, whether on twitter, also known as x,
