stuart: united airlines expecting the busiest spring break ever. how many travelers are they expecting? ashley: remarkable. about 21 million passengers march 8th to april 21st compared to last year. it equates to 200,000 people per day on average, 15,000 more per day than last year. carrier expect the busiest travel day to be friday, march 22nd. more than half a million passengers are scheduled to travel the week of march 25th will the be the busiest travel week, 480,000 people flying each day. as for cost, further demand, prices going up. they are actually going down, 2% from last year thanks to competition from low-cost
