larry: hello, folks. welcome to kudlow, i'm l arry kudlow. so after allowing roughly 10 million illegals into the
7:01 pm
nation, president biden finally announces an executive order about the border, i don't think that will solve anything but we'll hear from wyoming senator john barrasso, and tommy tuberville later, but first edward lawrence is live at white house, he was there at the announcement. what is cooking? reporter: so potentially president is now laid ground work for large scale deportations of people crossing border and executive actions today if the numbers of people crossing reaches 2500, no more asylum claims will be taken until that number is 1500 level. right now 3100 people a day are crossing between borders, under this plan tomorrow, people crossing between will be deported under title 8 if they don't meet the heightened
7:02 pm
threshold. >> this will help us gain control of the border, restore order to the process. this ban remain in place until the number of people trying to enter illegally is reduced to a level that a system can effectively manage. reporter: there are and exemptions, unaccompanied minors. raising concerns about child trafficking. 1500 a day or on the country list, would be allowed in. already more than 5 million people including known got aways reside here, who crossed illegally under president biden, 26 states and district of columbia with a population less than 5 million people, it has hos those who moved into the united states legally upset. >> my family had every time of visa that you could imagine, and then the
7:03 pm
process. they had to wait for many months before the process. they are 85 years old, and lost every finger in the war in ukraine, i think we need to follow the process. reporter: fox news, power ranging shows former president trump with 18 point lead on border policy, critics say what president did today was too late. back to you. larry: a couple quickies on this. there is not much on paper if you will about this whole idea. did he say anything about deporting criminals or working with sanctuary cities and states, you know using 287 g of the immigration and nationally act. he is using 212 f ? any talk about deporting a at all?
7:04 pm
reporter: no, not of those folks in the country, this is under title 8, and one interesting point, if you do the math, white house official said they had 36 deport plights in the past -- flights in past two days, that is 200 a flight, that is 7200. you have 3100 people crossing each days. so under this -- they will fill up the facilities, so what happens when they can't ddeport the people they need to deport, that is the issue, there have been concern about hey, maybe they will have to let go of some folks. we'll see in a couple days when facilities get full with deportees what happens, when you fly someone back to nepal, someone from china, they are long flights, you can't just turn that plane. larry: got it, edward lawrence thank you, appreciate it. joe biden can pro
7:05 pm
pretend all he wants, that is is solving this. nobody believes, that is the subject of the riff, joe biden will not fool anyone, this last-ditch, looks to be vague, riddled with exceptions and unenforceabla. does anyone believe mr. biden wants to enforce any limits to illegal immigration? don't think so. i mean, there is a guy whose policy let in at least 10 million illegals. with all horrors that accompany that number that sex traffics drug trafficking, kidnapping crime and enormous expense to taxpayers. joe biden refuses to evoke, which empowers border authority to work with local police enforcement in sanctuary cities to identify, catch and then deport criminals.
7:06 pm
now an effort would pay huge dividends and send the right message to the illegals. there will be a numbers game coming out of the white house, nobody will believe it. i have seen estimates that when migration is limited to 2500 per day, you put that for a full calendar year crossings hit about 912 thousand. but hundreds of thousands more have come in with the cpb 1 app. and biden just issued an executive order to let in roughly 400 thousand through a mass parole scheme. cubans and haitians and they can all fly for ex directly to america. biden's new crackdown still permit 1.75 million new arrivals es -- every year.
7:07 pm
does anyone have confidence he will implement that. my thought how about zero illegals, i am very much in favor of legal immigrants, maybe a million or so each year that was number proposed by thin president trump. -- by then president trump. but legal immigrants who speak english, who know some american history and civics provide evidence they have a job, waiting for them or are going to make a significant investment in to american business, these are ideas put forward by trump administration with a point base system that shows qualifying or non. this policy by the way copied from countries like canada, new zealand and australia, who have successful legal immigration programs. but the democratic congress,
7:08 pm
would have none of trump's plan. joe biden never mentions a plan forkiking legal immigration reform that say ppity, a good plan would solve so many problems. in his speech in whacka shaw, wisconsin in may, mr. trump talked about spiraling cost of illegal immigration and how it will damage major entitlement programs. >> it is just will end up cutting social security, by allowing millions and millions which is not sustain an of people coming in through the southern border, you will destroy social security, medicare and the fabric of the nation, it not sustainable, it is not affordable by any country. >> this is important. so car cost estimates for food, and housing and healthcare are running upwards of 150 billion that
7:09 pm
according to the house budget committee. in all likelihood, the true cost is greater. but trump's point is important, spiraling cost of illegal immigration will crowd out america's basic entitlement system. this is a problem that no one but mr. trump has dared to raise. and other hand, just ask taxpayers on the street who already footing high cost bills of illegal immigration. joe biden can pretend all he wants he solving that problem. but the reality s nothing will change come nothing will change, until that is, the white house changes hands. lrtz. thaall right, that is my river, we welcome back to show senator john barrasso of great state of wyoming, great to see you. you heard my riff, what is
7:10 pm
your take on this? >> great to be with you, this is the politics of panic. and it too little too late. white house biden and every open border democrat has a right to be panicked they know that open border is number one concern of american voters, they know they let 10 million illegal immigrants into the nation, that is what they have done over the years that biden has been in office, they have 94 executive order that democrat put forward opening the border, now they have one they say they will try to shut it down, this is campaign camouflage. bi-- this is biden administration saying oh, my god we know we're in trouble, we have to pretend year doing something, if they really wanted to do something, they am finish the wall, get rid of this policy of catch and release,
7:11 pm
and restore the remain in mexico policy that worked soy well. larry: on that last point. newly elections president of mexico, the woman, she says she would cooperate to stop the migration problem, she said, that obrador, himself was cooperative with trump but when biden repeopled executive order then -- repealeddic on mexico turned its back. thise enforced? 2500 per days. for a week. then we go to 1500. then to -- i don't understand. we don't have manpower. already it bad enough that border authorities are used add baby sitters rather than military authorities to stop, how cell this be

7:13 pm
why in november, i believe that american people will hold all of these open border democrats and joe biden responsible, and throw them out of office. larry: is anyone talking about deporting criminals? that is tied up with sudden cities, i -- sanctuary cities, i heard, a story in today a "new york post" it might have been yesterday, reports how our mayor eric adams, who can be so good and so not so good, different segment. but adams meeting with biden officials in washington, saying he wants to end new york city's status as a sanctuary city. he actually said that, had an argument with house senator staff 57 person who is now campaign manager, said i can't get rid of the criminals, i don't want to pay for them and we'll
7:14 pm
change our status, as you know, that is a key element of solving this problem. is anyone in white house or administration or dhs or i don't know, you know humpty dumpty on a wall, talking about this? >> i agree, they would be meaningful solutions, but that democrats want, that the democrats love the fact that sanctuary cities are magnets for illegal i'm gimmigrant. you see it in c colorado, denver, and san francisco and challengi chicago, they are now counted at part of the census, census should be for u.s. citizens it is not it is just for anyone that is there they use that to determine how many congressional seats a state gets and electoral college votes that state gets that impacts our electiontions
