willing to come to fox and take both of them at the same time, i commend him. >> jesse: if he has a good night, will you say get joe out of here? >> i have been saying it, i think democrats need a better candidate, they have decided that biden is their candidate, so they will have to select him in order to have an opportunity, let him do a good job and put pressure on and see what democrats do. >> jesse: thank you. here now anchor and executive editor of "the story," martha maccallum. she is open and looking for action out of gavin newsom. what does gavin and ron need to do? >> i'm fascinated listening to all of this, you have jamie diamond saying democrats should look at nikki haley. you have all of these barriers

breaking down, the "washington post" saying, watch fox tonight and look at what is going on. there is hunger for an alternative to trump and biden, we know that based on the number 60 to 70% want other choices. if they have trump and biden, we know what the numbers look like at this point and trump is in great shape when it comes to the republican nomination process. no doubt. big opportunity for ron desantis, he is six weeks from iowa, both are struggling for second place. nikki haley had a good week. ron desantis is good going head-to-head with someone with a different ideology. newsom, their goal, two governors that have a lot in common in a lot of ways and different in terms of philosophy about government, small government, big government. it will be interesting to see them duke it out. people will say, why don't we

have more options, it will be a big night and we'll watch them duke it outcoming up soon. >> jesse: if you're desantis, can't you say your state is a mess, everyone is leaving, there is homeless everywhere, you had to clean up for the chinese. can't you just point and say, what are you doing? >> yeah, he will, he absolutely will do that and then you will hear the counter punch there is no freedom in florida, abortion issues, all of that you will hear from gavin newsom, he has a tough argument to make with border and education. he is really preaching to democrats tonight saying, you have other options out there, i'm waiting, watch what i can do. >> jesse: he can't be too good or there will be civil war. thank you so much. sean hannity is next! thank you for doing this, sean. ♪ ♪
