in san antonio, texas. todd piro is here with what we know on this wednesday morning. todd? >> steve, it's pretty convoluted it began at northeast early college high school all before 11:00 a.m. unnamed suspect targeted officer in unprovoked attack shooting the unnamed officer in the leg. the officer is expected to make a full recovery. then an hour later police discovered a man and woman with obvious signs of trauma more than 10 miles away. one was pronounced dead on scene. the other died at the hospital. the police say the suspect went on to shoot a cyclist. that all happened before an officer discovered backyard of a home being investigated on a burglary call. now, according to austin's police chief the suspect shot at the officer, sending to the hospital. first responders would then later find two people dead inside that home. the suspect then send authorities on a high-speed chase. ended up crashing when police took him into custody. but now, police are saying the suspect may be connected to

another murder scene just an hour away in san antonio. austin said the suspect had links to this here on port royal. we do have two people deceased inside the residence. they are people believed to be in their 50's. we believe that that incident in austin started happening around 11:00 this morning. so it's believed that this happened before that. >> todd: the suspect is facing a capital murder charge with more charges pending. he also had an outstanding assault warrant in northeast early college high school has also canceled classes today. quite a seen. when you see this thing spread out like that. it's wild, steve. >> steve: the cops have got their hands full trying to figure it all out. todd, thank you very much. 6:18 in the east. carley joins us with news from our nation's capital. >> carley: 17-year-old arrested in washington, d.c. after officers claim he carjacked an fbi agent last week. court documents reveal the agent

she was the swimmer, competed against a transgender lia thomas. and she was number one and fell, her rankings fell to number two. because lia thomas decided as a trans woman that she wanted to compete in women's sports. >> steve: the vice chairwoman of this particular committee, summer lee, a democrat from pennsylvania, in her opening remarks, she accused riley gaines and other witnesses of being transphobic in their opening remarks. keep in mind, this hearing was all about changes to title ix, which would outlaw banning trans students from playing on different teams. so, reilly heard what the vice chairwoman said about her being transphobic and shot her back with this. >> although the title of this hearing implies a much needed discussion. we're likely going to be forced to listen to transphobic bigotry, forcing a transgender child to choose between living authentic life and playing a

game is cruel. while we sit through this hearing and hear the hateful information i'm sure is going to come our way. let us not forget that children are at the core of this issue. >> there is a place for everyone, regardless of gender identity, regardless of sexual orientation, regardless of race or what sports you play. there is a place for everyone to play sports in this country. but unsafe, unfair and discriminatory practices towards women must stop, inclusion cannot be prioritized over safety and fairness and ranking member lee, if my testimony makes me transphobic, then i believe your opening monologue makes you a misogynist. >> steve: wow. >> brian: women's rights matter. aoc came out and said if you want to do that have all women play against women imagine that or men. all it face gentle examinations if biological men are barred from female sports. she clearly does not understand or never signed up a kid for sports. you cannot sign up for anything without a birth certificate. whether you are 5 or 15. and that would pretty much
