your story is interesting. you grew up in a christian home but a point in your life where you dabbled in drinking and drugs and came back to your faith. tell us about that? >> it was not very pretty. four years i was a prodigal, you know, just walked away from my faith and the lord and almost died a few times. i think i'm -- >> ainsley: from drugs? >> i'm still alive. i'm standing here today because of the prayers of my mom and dad. they never gave up on my. my dad taught me what god was like in a lot of ways. even though i was making bad choices. they just stuck with me. i hit rock bottom and then it was november 1979 it was radical. it could be a movie. that radical and i haven't been the same since. >> ainsley: what is your advice for someone going through that stage in their life. >> there is a way life and hope
