trump pulling ahead 10 points ahead of the current president. that is shocking. and it gets worse when joe biden goes up against nikki haley in the same poll. former south carolina governor pulling ahead of joe biden in both states by even bigger margins than trump. this all comes as more than 60% of voters in michigan and georgia say they disapprove of the job joe biden is doing.

also some new polls from monmouth university so how they feel about a potential biden trump rematch. only voters enthusiasm over a 2020 rematch. there also appears to be growing momentum for the biggest independent in the race. one in five voters say they are considering voting for r.f.k. jr. for president. and, as all of this is happening, campaigns ramping up for the iowa caucuses in just 34 days. a brand new des moines register poll has former president trump's lead in the state growing to 51%. there it is. the next highest candidate. florida governor ron desantis trailing behind 32 points behind 19%. iowa attorney general bran that bird joins me now. is it safe to say that donald trump's lead is insurmountable at this point? >> it really is and also historic. i have never seen a lead this big in the iowa poll just a

month before the caucuses to be polling over 50% every single graphic. president trump has the enthusiasm of the people here in iowa. and he is doing very, very well here. it's looking good. >> todd: you mentioned there is over a month only five weeks left until the iowa caucuses. >> todd: there have been pretty good debate performances overall from individuals like nikki haley. some individuals like even rope desantis. he has gotten better as time has gone on. why haven't these trump challengers been able to chip away at the trump lead and, in fact, that lead is actually growing for trump? >> well, i think because americans realize that their country is in real trouble and they remember what it was like when president trump was president. they are not looking for a debater. they are looking for a commander-in-chief, someone who will make our country safe again, who will lead a booming economy. a patriot who cares about our
