grenovic's 4000 people were evacuated after earthquakes raised fear of an eluption. it appears the lava is not flowing toward grenovic. iceland has been racing to build walls to divert lava away from a geo thermal power plant and world-famous blue lagoon. there are no disruptions to flights to and from iceland. it is unlikely flights will be affected at all. unlike the 2010 eruption. the forecast is putting plume and gases away from the

oldest was one. my husband was gone nor nine months. and then we have used it whenever he can't be home. whether for a long training or just a work trip. it is just a great way to keep them connected. they can't always be there for video call. it never lines up with nap time. >> carley: or a different time zone it can be very difficult. such a good point. i was also thinking this organization is great all year round. any year. but in particular this one because there were just thousands of u.s. soldiers that were deployed to the middle east because of what happened in israel. those service members aren't going to be home for the holidays. >> no, we made sure as those deployments were happening in october that we got all of our supplies to those units as they were leaving so those service members could make recordings and send them home. we have over 35 books just about the holidays and over 400 books

on our book list. so they got all stocked up with books to send home for their families to enjoy. >> carley: it's the connection between mom and dad and the child but also i'm sure encourages young kids to like reading as well. another benefit of this. >> exactly. we love promoting literacy. we know reading is the foundation of all learning. not only does it help the emotional well-being but builds the love of reading. >> carley: do you take donations. if we like the idea -- there are so many people watching now who think that united through reading is a great organization because it is. where can people go to help out? >> we'd love your support. for as little as $25 you can support one military family. >> carley: you have such a beautiful family. i love see your husband read to your kids. you are fantastic for supporting this organization and doing the good work you do. thank you so much for joining us. all right.
