governor desantis has bet everything on iowa. so far efforts appearing to coming up short. nikki haley 16%. vivek ramaswamy at 7%. former governor of chris christie in new jersey who is not actively campaigning in iowa sits at 3%. trump was here in the hawkeye state tuesday night for a rally. he urged his supporters not to get complacent. even warning some trump voters could see those poll numbers and choose to stay home on caucus night if they feel the contest is a lock. his rally came an hour after colorado supreme court ruled he was disqualified from being a candidate. the court says violated insurrection act with his behavior on january 6th, 2021. now, california's lungt governor wants her state's election office to do the same. in a letter to the california. california must stand on the right side of history. california is obligated to determine if trump is inje'kel

for. it can be the basis for a similar decision here in our state. now, you got the trump campaign, the rnc, even trump's rivals running for the white house saying that they think this should be fought. that this is not going to stand. and trump, of course, has made it very clear that he is eager to get his supporters to chip in with his legal fight and he has been campaigning heavily since this colorado decision was handed down. we know they are going to appeal for the supreme court. the window is quite small. talk about the iowa caucus is fast approaching and colorado, while their primary is not until a little bit later, i think it's in mid march have to print the ballot in january. they have to get this done fairly soon,. >> lawrence: what's the plan on the ground in iowa? ' people don't like their votes being taken away. in iowa, you have got some moderate voters, i think that will push them into donald trump's arms. what are you hearing? >> we hear d. hear from voters

tuesday night just as the decision was handed down. and opinions were mixed. you're right. the majority of people we heard from is said they didn't think this was an appropriate action by the colorado supreme court. that they didn't want to feel that their options were being taken away. obviously the trump supporters very vocal that they feel that this would not be acceptable in any sort of situation. i spoke to a few folks at a desantis event yesterday i asked them because they were keeping their mind open they were looking at desantis. they said we will support trump if he is the nominee they weren't necessarily thrilled with him for another term just in this caucus. so, a lot of mixed opinions here in iowa. guys, look at those polls trump has got to be feeling pretty good right now. >> brian: mark, thank you very much. you got to get the people to turn out. the trump team is worried people think he is so far ahead they won't do it. when trump is not there they do most of the work. pounding on people, show up and talk about how things have been so different from the polls to the results in the past. and then when you talk about

people who promise to show up, and not change their mind, look at this portion of the poll. the fox business poll support is certain in iowa caucuses. 83% say i am certain, may change your mind 16%. desantis supporters 59 the percent said i'm certain. 39 percent said may change their mind for hail live 51 o, 43. all in for trump. make sure the team know show up. goal is to win decisively in iowa, new hampshire, and just tell everyone drop out. i wouldn't do it. >> carley: think about the things that energize trump supporters or even the republican party, some people who might be on the fence the most are things like what happened in colorado. so, in this case this is bad for trump, another legal battle going to go to the supreme court. but, whether it comes to these early voting states, these types of things could just -- his poll numbers are so good across the board, now they are hardening and solidifying, something like that could even solidify them

even further. >> lawrence: there is only so much that can you do when you have called the person crazy and saying like this is all in his mind that he has been targeted. and then you see case after case where he is being targeted. and that take the vote away and taking him off the ballot. so for even the most moderate person that says, look, i want the tone of the president to change as one lady said in the diner, i want him to be nicer. when you see this, it makes the point that maybe he is right about this. maybe they are trying to take the vote away from the people. just add on what brian is saying, everything is about a ground game. in iowa the way they do -- if you have ever been to a caucus. much different than any other state the way they do it. you need people to show up. ron desantis has had a great ground game. got the endorsement of the governor. but, you know, you can have the best ground game but if you don't have the support of the

people. >> brian: right. three points from poll to poll. trump got about 0. nikki haley improved. if haley beats desantis in iowa. >> carley: then desantis is out. >> lawrence: a must win for him. >> carley: fox business polling came out in iowa. has nothing to do with trump but they talked about haley and desantis who likes them the most. the types of groups of people who support them. haley's best group is moderates. no surprise there. infrequent church attenders, naughty, naughty why? those wanting a candidate who can work across the aisle and desantis gets the highest support from men with a college degree. immigration voters. he says he is stronger on illegal immigration than trump. there is something to dispute there. regular churn goers. good for them. and those prioritizing electability. i thought that was funny they broke it down like that. >> lawrence: one thing that haley to your point has going to be her she has the money. if she doesn't win iowa.

no way to comfort them. they are doing outstanding job managing this humanitarian crisis. they are frustrated. because no matter how do they do the migrant flow it doesn't stop. the border security mission is being completely neglected because there seems to be no light at the end of the tunnel. and talking to my border patrol family, i don't like how our agents are being unfairly labeled. because people with a political agenda are calling our loved ones horrible names or accusing them of not doing their job. and you know, lawrence, you know. this no one risked their lives more to help migrants than our brave border patrol agents. our agents' job is tone 40s law. they are not the judge, jury and executioner. they don't bypass the courts or person's right to due process. you can be as dedicated and patriotic as you want. when there is nothing being done to stop the flow, you can't expect morale to be high. >> lawrence: such a good point.

has reportedly rejected israel's offer of a week long truce in exchange for release of hostages. >> lawrence: trey yingst is live. >> i do want to start with breaking news. right now sirens are sounding in central israel south of the city of tel aviv. hamas 76 days into this conflict still has an arsenal of rockets they are using to target major population centers it. also comes as hamas has publicly rejected israeli discussion of a possible cease-fire saying that no hostages will be released until the war is officially over. now, while hamas is saying one thing publicly, they are saying something else private live. just yesterday, ishmael, the leader of hamas, flew to cairo, egypt to consider conversations about a possible deal it. comes as israeli forces say they are close to completing the high intensity ground operations in northern gaza. much of the focus for soldiers over the past day has been in the jabalia neighborhood where israelis say the troops from

541st brigade evacuated a group of civilians still in a building with more difficulty fighting place in southern gaza the death toll is rising among israeli troops with 137 killed since the ground operation began. those battles come as activity continues to increase on israel's northern front. overnight, israeli strikes against southern lebanon were more serious after new attacks by the lebanese militant group hebz. attacks american force increasing in the middle east iraq and syria. rocket attack overnight al-asad air base did bring the total number of 102 attacks against u.s. forces across the region since the middle of october. the entire region though remains on the brink of a broader conflict and that's part of the reason that the united states put together this coalition to push back against iran backed actors in yemen trying to send a clear message to iran and allies that force will be used to stop this fire against israel and the united states. guys? >> brian: i'm pretty astounded

than 20,000 bombs on the gaza strip. they have been targeting gaza since october 7th. and, yet, they have maintained the ability. the factions inside. hamas and islamic jihad to fire rockets toward major population centers. you hear the sirens sounding. we can look down to the street. people are coming off the beach right now. coming away from the mediterranean sea. trying to take cover. this is a city of more than 300,000 people. despite the heavy air and ground campaign against hamas in gaza, they have handwriting man takenned their ability to fire on major cities like tel aviv. >> brian: see the construction site evacuating. they are going right down the ladder right now. just a quick thing what i was saying is this hamas leader that was captured was on television saying. >> trey: iron dome. as you see there will be a bunch of interceptions overhead. head to the sky here. you are going to see. 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11. this is a massive barrage toward tel aviv. and you're going to continue to hear these explosions overhead. each time one of these rockets is intercepted, you are going to have shrapnel raining down into the city below. but, again, this is one of the largest rocket barrages against tel aviv that we have seen in quite some time and you will hear those explosions. >> lawrence: this is all civilians, too. this is the target of civilian. there has been so much, you know, propaganda that israel is targeting civilians and hamas. and the palestinian people that are there. but look at what they are doing right now. >> absolutely. and the bottom line here is they have no ability to aim these rockets. so, israel's missile defense system, the iron dome can intercept much of the fire. it's actually quite effective. this conflict has been anywhere

between 85 and 95% effective. but, in terms of the damage that these rockets can do, we have seen it first hand. if one of these rockets slams into a building it can very easily kill civilians in a city like till receive. in the early days of the conflict you saw when that massive barrage of rockets targeted tel aviv and all of israel, these rockets slipping past the iron dome and slamming into buildings, killing people. these aren't fireworks as they have been described by some people. these are rockets that were ultimately created inside gaza. they have the ability to fire rockets that they have actually made in the strip, often underground in the facilities inside gaza they continue 76 days into the conflict targeting centers. >> carley: what you just said about people inside gaza making their own rockets, is interesting. and i was wondering because we are, like you said, 76 days into

this war, if -- how they are able to have this amount of supplies and artillery. is iran also able at this point to get weapons into the gaza strip or i guess because gaza is still surrounded maybe that's not an option. so, they are relying on homemade weapons? >> trey: yeah. so the majority of the rockets being fired are homemade, inside gaza. they have received funding and support from the iranian regime. but there's no way at this point to smuggle any new wednesday into gaza. so what is being fired today and what you just saw live on air here, these interceptions over tel aviv, these are rockets that were built in the gaza strip. they have got the knowledge from places like iran. they have these weapons manufacturing facilities able to not only create rockets but rpgs and ieds used against israeli forces on the ground.

hamas is even able to create sniper rifles. and the ammunition used to target israeli troops inside gaza as we speak. so they have the ability to create their own weapons arsenal because they get funding from outside actors like iran. they get knowledge and support from the regime in tehran this is something they spent the last 16 years developing even more than that. it gives you an idea of the threat that was coming from gaza and how they really only use a small portion developed over the past several years on october 7th when they conducted the massacre against southern israel. and they are really running through the rocket supply understanding that israeli forces are going to destroy every single launching position inside gaza. it's simply a matter of time. >> brian: you really get the sense why the israelis cannot stop until they complete the job or else this is going to be a daily routine and if they just slow them down be back here in 18 months. trey, thank you. >> trey, thank you so much.
