right now there is no evidence that the disease has crossed over into humans it's endear, elk, muse, and reindeer which i maybe why we're talking about i on christmas, but there's no evidence it has crossed over into humans at this point, with mad cow they had a real scare they slaughtered 4 million cattle and had to hundred peopl died. it is believed to be the same type of cause that is, it's not a virus, it's not bacteria, a fungus, or is poor, it is a protein that can spread in the blood system and become sticky on the brain, that's why it's causing kind of mental problems fatigue, and in one case of a dear reported last week, it sai the deer had succumbed to the disease and that was part of a tracking project where the park service were tracking deer just to sort of study deer and they found one of them with a gps alerted that it had died, they

backtracked and found it was this in fact prion disease whic is called the chronic wasting disease. >> so most of us don't come in contact with the deer unless we shoot them or be we eat them, i do neither, so i don't know if that makes me immune to this, but let's go through the zombie dear disturbing details. these are sort of the symptoms. they are spotted in deer, elk, moose, reindeer, weight-loss, stumbling, drooling and other neurological symptoms. how do you get this? we know it hasn't been transmitted to humans is of yet how do dear transmitted to one another? >> we don't know, but we know i the case of mad cow disease which was another prion disease that people got it from eating beef. right now there is no cause for alarm and i think people will look at that symptom list and say i've got one of those are
