10:02 am
about the extent of their relationship, including reported trips to napa valley and aruba. >> john: hence the grapes and the beach. accusations are raising all kinds of ethical questions and calls for both prosecutors to be removed from donald trump's case. >> sandra: straight to steve, live in atlanta. he has more on the breaking story. steve, seems like the scrutiny of the one time personal injury lawyer, now chief prosecutor, nathan wade, continues to grow. >> it certainly does. nathan wade is under a microscope, both his personal life and professional life as well. defense attorneys are calling to find out more about an meeting he had with white house counsel back in 2022. a hearing on that, and also next week he's got another hearing on his own divorce proceedings. those proceedings really getting bitter. he's expected to be grilled with
10:03 am
his relationship with his boss, fani willis. a judge unsealed divorce records and documents have come out that show wade has purchased plane tickets for himself and his boss, and travel to san francisco as well. willis has tried to claim this is just an attempt to interfere in her prosecution of former president trump, that she's being dragged into this divorce case. but the attorney for wade's estranged wife says this is not about politics. this is about money which the two are hiding from her. >> we have questions. i want to know about how he's been spending his money. i have a reason to believe he's spending it on another woman. that's my client's money and i want to ask questions about that. she's trying to hide under the shield of her position. >> georgia senate republicans are getting involved as well. they are forming a commission to investigate what they say is an
10:04 am
improper relationship between the two. back to you. >> sandra: steve, thank you. live in atlanta. >> john: listen to this. house oversight committee releasing the transcribed interview of the man referred to as hunter biden's sugar border. kevin morris met hunter biden at a biden campaign event in 2019. just weeks before he started lending lots of money to hunter. fox team coverage starts now why the transactions are raising ethical concerns. but first to david spunt. two things. so, this is not a lifelong friend of hunter's, and how much money has he given him? >> david: they met in 2019 as you mentioned. talking just under $5 million. that's according to this transcript. now, they met just a few years ago but have since become close friends, john. even though kevin morris helped hunter with his tax problems,
10:05 am
he's heading to trial in california for failing to pay almost a million and a half in taxes in a timely manner. in the new transcript this morning, kevin morris told the committee, respect to the loans i'm confident hunter will repay. i did not and do not have expectations of receiving anything from hunter's father or the biden administration in exchange from helping hunter nor have i asked for anything from president biden or his administration. my only goal was, and is to help my friend and client. and house republicans, john, yesterday released a transcript featuring hunter's art gallerist. disclose the identity of the buyers to hunter biden, is that correct? and borges said correct. did you disclose the identities of buyers to hunter biden, i did not. did hunter biden pressure you to disclose the buyers, borges said
10:06 am
never did. one of the buyers received a presidential appointment to a board focusing on america's heritage. another prominent buyer, hundreds of thousands of dollars, kevin morris. >> john: they met in 2019, within weeks he starts longer him money and given him nearly $5 million? in exchange for air? >> david: that's the question. a lot is not even tax money, it was for security and other expenses according to the transcript. >> john: good lord, why can't we all have friends like that. sandra. >> sandra: andy mccarthy, great to see you. i want to dig into the improper relationship with the prosecutor involved in the trump case in a second. but to hunter biden and these art dealings, let's flash back to jen psaki on this concept of a process for identifying the buyers of hunter biden's art.
10:07 am
this is 2021, her defending hunter's art sales. watch. >> did the white house play any role in crafting the sales agreement with the new york gallery to protect the purchasers or the ultimate purchasers' identity? >> well, i can tell you that after careful consideration a system has been established that allows for hunter biden to work in his profession within reasonable safeguards. gallerists will not share information about buyers or prospective buyers, including identities with hunter biden or the administration which provides quite a level of protection and transparency. >> sandra: ok. so, keeping that in mind, how big is this? i mean, if there really was a directive to reveal the identity of a purchaser of hunter biden's art, apparently that was said on the record then retracted and then that moment from jen psaki, that person could have huge
10:08 am
influence in the white house. >> yeah, that's exactly right, sandra, but kind of another brick in the wall if you think about it. the whole investigation is about is the purchase of influence and so far the house committees have shown $24 million in just five years going into the biden family coffers. this is just another part of this, and i imagine that's why it may be indistinguishable from the greater whole in other people's minds. if i could for a moment go back to john's question about the interesting relationship between kevin morris and hunter biden, i've been trying to call attention to this for about a year now. hunter quietly transferred to kevin morris his 10% stake in a chinese investment vehicle that he established at the time joe biden was vice president in biden -- in the obama administration. that vehicle -- the 10% stake in
10:09 am
that, this is a chinese entity that has a raft of unique business opportunities because his partners in this venture are like the bank of china, the chinese development bank, etc. they actually manage, i think over $2 billion in investment and that 10% stake may be worth millions and millions of dollars. it's surprising to me that more attention has not been called to it. >> sandra: i mean, just the details -- i mean, clarification is needed. morris purchased $875,000 worth of biden's art through this business entity, that was january 2023. paid the gallery director 40% commission while planning to resolve the balance with biden directly. described morris as his largest collector. georges said he did not know whether the gallery provided biden with the tax documentation
10:10 am
to reflect the $525,000 payment from morris, and saw a piece of art in morris's home that the gallery director had not sold. indicating he obtained it elsewhere, perhaps from biden directly. how concerning is that? >> well, look, i think it's all very concerning and i don't want to beat a dead horse here, but it's possible that this stake in this chinese venture dwarfs the kinds of money we are talking about, even if it's over $5 million that's been transferred from morris to biden with month apparent plan for repayment. i suspect that's because repayment may not be necessary depending on how valuable the stake of this chinese investment is. >> sandra: the "washington post" meanwhile and the situation with fani willis, asking what in the world was fani willis thinking, pointing out the situation is a disaster, this improper relationship with the prosecutor going public as these divorce
10:11 am
documents are unsealed. we put together a map, andy, of willis and wade's alleged travel. napa valley, san francisco, miami and beyond. this is andrew on newsroom this morning suggesting possible criminal liability now for willis. listen. >> the problem becomes if you appoint someone and then you are getting elaborate trips and favors from that individual, and the case drags on forever, is that actually a criminal act. is that something like on a services fraud. so i think fani willis has to think primarily about her criminal liability here. >> sandra: what should happen next here, andy, in your opinion? >> that's exactly right. there should be a state investigation, there should be a federal investigation under the auspices of the fraud laws and embezzlement laws and so on. i would say, sandra, the biggest problem with fani willis' case
10:12 am
is her case. it's incoherent, legally it does not hang together. this obviously is going to get a great deal of attention as it should, it's salacious and goes to the honesty of the people who brought this. at the end of the day, the case is a mess. >> sandra: a few seconds here, just coming not newsroom right now, via the supreme court team, federal appeals court has denied former president trump's request for another hearing over the gag order imposed by the federal judge in the special counsel's prosecution in the january 6th election interference case. what does this mean, how big of a deal is it, andy? >> it's a big deal but it's the difficulty we are going to see again and again, sandra, between the need to administer justice in the four corners of criminal prosecutions and trump's right to run for president, which is constitutional in nature. the democrats who brought these cases, these prosecutors, timed them intentionally so that they would happen during the campaign
10:13 am
and we are going to see this tension throughout the next ten months. >> sandra: that is a big deal as we are now just -- we are now looking at live shots, about to look at a live shot in new hampshire on primary day. andy, thank you. >> thanks, sandra. >> john: the little one there in the lower right-hand side of the screen. new hampshire voters going to the polls right now, there is the full shot with a lot on their minds. immigration, the economy, and other things. just two candidates left as well in the republican primary. we will find out what voters on our panel are most concerned about and who gets their support today. >> sandra: and how are democrats handling president biden's decision to skip new hampshire. the fallout from his primary snub next. >> i think it's a terrible look for the president. one primary may be ending as the other one is gathering steam. veteran homeowners, have you looked at the interest rates on your credit cards lately? get ready for a shock.

>> sandra: president biden snubbing the granite state holding an event today in virginia as primary voters go to the polls in new hampshire where he is not even on the ballot. jacqui heinrich at the white house for us. will it about he easy for new hampshire voters who back president biden to show their support and actually vote for him, jacqui? >> jacqui: we'll see, sandra. those voters are not going to see joe biden's name on their ballot. instead, the names of his 21 primary challengers and also president biden has not set foot in new hampshire for the last two years almost, and he won't be on the ballot as we mentioned after the state moved forward with its primary calendar even after the dnc reshuffled the schedule to put south carolina
10:19 am
first because joe biden did better there in 2020. still, because the election in new hampshire is deemed unsanctioned, the biden campaign is discrediting it as immaterial to the delegate count but also don't want to be embarrassed there, so they have surrogates in the state instructing people how to write in biden's name and despite biden's snub he really does care about them. >> you are seeing huge energy for a write-in campaign for president biden even though he made the misguided decision. we know what's at stake. we know another trump presidency undermines the rule of law and our democracy and rolls back rights. >> look, it's no secret people here were upset with the dnc but people in new hampshire take their responsibility very, very seriously, and they say we are electing the leader of the free world. >> so now democrats are pushing biden's positions very hard, ratcheting up rhetoric on
10:20 am
abortion, drilling down in wisconsin saying republican extremists will take the country backwards as biden reaffirms his support to codify roe v. wade. it actually did impose some abortion restrictions after fetal viability, generally accepted around 24 weeks. >> any restrictions on abortion at all? >> yes, there should be. >> what should be they? >> in roe v., wade, read it, man, you'll get educated. >> democrats are blasting any proposed abortion bans and state legislatures as extreme even though the president's own position would allow for states to ban abortion after viability, sandra. >> sandra: jacqui heinrich, thank you. john. >> john: now for a look at what granite state voters are thinking about as they go to the polls, joining us now, chris is
10:21 am
a trump supporter, elizabeth, start with you, you just moved to the granite state from massachusetts and you will be playing in your first, first in the nation primary. what's your top issue and how does that dovetail with who you have decided to vote for today? >> thank you for having me, mr. roberts. i'm voting for president donald trump. main concerns are the economy, immigration, our troops, and school choice. >> john: and so i guess to ask you the ronald reagan question, are you better off now than four years ago and how is that influencing your vote? >> no, sir, i am not, and i don't believe the country is. i think we lost our standing in the world with afghanistan, a bunch of different things, and i like nikki haley, i like what she did for the u.n. but i do not want her to be the president. >> john: elizabeth, we are looking at live pictures in londonderry, just south of
10:22 am
manchester, donald trump's motorcade has pulled up to a polling place and he'll be coming out to talk to some folks in line and ready to cast their ballot. see if he talks to the crowd when he comes out. chris, let me ask you, what's the reason why as we watch pictures you are voting for nikki haley? >> hi there, i've been out to vote for nikki haley. number one reason, she is the win-win candidate. when you put a lot of the policies to one side, i think she is that one candidate that can win twice. she won twice in south carolina, she can win now and win in november and i don't see that with trump. and she can also win in november and win in november 2028. i think she's got that win-win capacity that does not come in from the competitor. >> john: no question she could run for a second term, whereas former president trump, we see him exiting his suv right there, can only run until 2028 when he's term limited.
10:23 am
i assume his vice president would then run for election, we don't know who that vice president nominee might be. in terms of win-win for nikki haley, 37% of the republican party according to a new poll taken last summer is hard donald trump, and may not vote for nikki haley. so without those votes, how does she become president? >> she really appeals to the broader spectrum of voter. i don't see new people going to the maga side, she has avoided alienating the maga sector but speaks to the independent sector, which is absolutely critical for winning the swing states. it comes down to margins in the communities. >> john: chris, hold for just a second, listen to the former president just a moment. >> watching you all morning, you
10:24 am
are almost fair. >> are you feeling confident, though? you have a big crowd here, are you pretty confident here? >> i'm very confident. this is it, look, we just stopped here, we stopped at a polling site, picked at random, we may stop at one more and nobody knew we were coming. this is pretty amazing. >> staying in through super tuesday, is she a threat to you? >> no, no, and i don't care if she stays in. let her do whatever she wants, it doesn't matter. i can just say there's never been a movement like this. make america great again in the history of our country, i just stopped here and i figured i would see 3, 4 people and maybe walk inside, and you see a crowd like this, and this is -- this is organic. this is organic. >> she wanted a two-person race. would you consider -- >> desantis -- >> i don't want to comment on that. >> he endorsed me. would i consider who? >> would you consider desantis as v.p. >> nikki haley wanted a two-person race, she got that.
10:25 am
you think it's in her favor at all? >> i think it hurts her, probably a big loss today, who knows. but you know, the next state is nevada, i have 100%, because they all pulled out when they looked at the polling. so i have 100%, a lot of delegates, big state and then i go to south carolina and beating her by 60 points, so -- i just don't know. it's up to her. i would never ask anybody to pull out. i didn't ask ron to pull out, i didn't ask vivek to pull out, nobody. but we have great support and most of the people that pulled out have already supported me. so it's actually quite nice. but i'm very honored by this. you know, we expected to come here and who would think you would have a crowd like this. this is -- thank you, everybody. >> president, what's your message to the american people on the injustice that you are experiencing and the big concern they tried to steal it again in 2024. >> we are going to watch very close. i very much appreciate that question. it's a very important question. more important than most people
10:26 am
who understand. we have to make sure we have honest, fair and free election and strong borders. if we don't have borders in elections we don't have a border. there's never been anything like it on the border. millions and millions of people are pouring into the country illegally and many come from prisons, they come from jails, they are terrorists -- nobody has ever seen it. they come from, by the way, i saw a republican this morning, they are coming in from mental institutions all over the world. they are pouring in and it makes sense. why would somebody running a country where it costs so much money, why would they keep the people. they are dumping them into our country. mental institutions, jails and prisons, coming into our country and a lot of terrorists are coming in. this is really bad. i heard somebody yesterday say 100% happen to be sean hannity, you ever hear of him, he said 100% certain there will be some horrible acts, terror acts, and that's the answer. 100%.
10:27 am
100%. the people coming into the country, it's 100% certain, and we have to have fair elections. >> the northern border is a huge deal, we talk about eagle pass, texas and the southern border. it's a huge issue here at the northern border. what are you hearing from voters? >> it's getting bad. about you now it's lightening up because it's so easy they don't have to come here. it is -- you have to watch both borders and watch fly-ins, you have to watch everything. but the southern border is like nobody's ever seen. but the northern border is bad, too. they have done a terrible job -- this is one of the worst thing, i believe it's one of the worst tragedies ever to befall our country, i really do. one of the great strag -- tragedies. either they are very stupid, i don't believe they are, or they hate the country. very simple. nothing else. very stupid or hate our country to allow millions to come into the country, totally unchecked,
10:28 am
unveted, it's not even believable and the biggest issue now. you know the economy was big and inflation was big, it's all big. but this -- i think the border issue now is the biggest -- we had the greatest border, the safest border of in recorded history, in recorded history and three years ago. now we have the worst. the worst. i think we have the worst border anywhere in the world. i don't think any country, a third world border never had a country like this. >> for people without their minds made up, what would you tell the voters? >> if they want a great country, say make america great again, nothing like it, that's all you have to say. we are making america great. we had this going so well, and look at the world. the world is blowing up, to. into wars, russia would have never invaded ukraine, all of this. israel would have never been attacked, never. remember this, iran was broke. they had no money.
10:29 am
you know why they had no money, they said to other countries you can't deal with them until we make a deal. and we would have had a deal within two weeks after the election with iran. iran is spreading money all over and look at what's happening. we are bombing the middle east again. now we are going back into the middle east. we are bombing the hell out of the middle east and having no impact. you know why, they don't respect biden. they don't respect him. they no longer resuspect our country. if you look at what victor orba and the prime minister of hungary said, he said bring trump back. everything worked when trump was there. so, i appreciate the turnout, thank you very much, everybody. >> go too far misspelling her name -- >> no, no, i don't think it goes too far. they say a lot of things that are wrong, they have the whack-o governor up here who ran for president but didn't have the courage to say he was running. you have sununu, running for president for months, asa hutchinson-type numbers, very
10:30 am
low and never had the guts to say. so -- you know, they just give so much false information it's very sad. >> the other candidates, you went back and forth about ron desantis, now you kind of you know, once it's done and they drop out and they get behind you, do you forgive those person or -- >> i'm a very for giving person. i try. >> you talk about unifying the party, some nikki haley voters voted for you in 2020. but don't want to now. >> they are going to all vote for me again, all vote for me again, i'm not sure we need too many. biden is the worst president in the history of this country. but we are going to all come back, all coming back, and i think you see that here. i think you see it -- thank you, everybody. they'll all be back. >> john: so former president trump there in new hampshire, stopping off at a polling place,
10:31 am
why covering this primary is so much fun. you never know who is going to stop by. button it up with the panel, elizabeth, your chosen candidate talking about important issues, immigration and military involvement. your husband is an immigrant from canada, like myself, a green card holder and your son just finished military service. quickly, immigration and the military. how important to you are those two issues? >> those two issues are extremely important. my husband and i have been married almost 30 years, he's a canadian citizen, came here the correct way. my son is in the 82nd airborne and he signed up now and he goes to state college, and i thought it was disingenuous that people are getting their college education paid for them. we need our troops and need incentive and when donald trump was president there were no wars. i felt very safe when he was there, i felt -- but now i don't feel safe.
10:32 am
new hampshire had over 8,000 people stopped at the northern border this past year. and it worries me. and i think trump is going to get the minority vote, the young vote, the women vote who feel their kids are not in proper schools. i think it's a great time for america to come together and you know, donald trump can do it in four years and whoever he picks to run with him i think will do a great job. >> john: ok. congratulations on your first primary. hope you have a great day. chris, final thought to you. >> yeah, i mean, i think in terms of haley's ability to win-win, what we saw in iowa was an utter failure from trump. over eight years of campaigning and 2.3 million adults in iowa and managed to motivate 56,000 to vote, that is not a president to capture the president in november. haley is the option to capture the nation and to take us forward. she's got the ability to win now, the ability to win in
10:33 am
november, and the ability to win in four years' time. that's the leader that can take us forward, not backwards. >> john: chris and elizabeth, great to have you with us. appreciate it. sandra, our alexis mcadams almost getting an exclusive one-on-one with the former president as well. >> sandra: good stuff. he won in a landslide in iowa and voters are coming out to see him in new hampshire and anything can happen tonight. all eyes are on the candidates, and we just heard from him and alexis got a lot of questions in there. meanwhile, watching the dow, john. right now, it's down 150 points, and that's about 4/10% drop but record high after record high for the u.s. stock market. the dow plowed through 38,000 the first time in 25 days, s & p 500, all time highs. our panel is joining us now, robert wolf, former obama economic adviser, fox news contributor, and steve moore, all that needs to be said, we
10:34 am
are at record highs. the u.s. stock, it might be down today but has been hitting fresh highs. jamie dimon, head of morgan chase, he's throwing cold water on the stock market rally. listen. >> i think it's a mistake to assume that everything is hunky dory, and when the stock market is up the drug we feel, like just great. but remember, so much fiscal and monetary stimulation, i'm a little more on the question side. >> are you cautious or should we celebrate the rally and buy into it. >> i'm cautious as well. i'm not where former president trump was when he said with biden in office the stock market crashed even though it's at record highs. you and i have talked and steve and i have talked, i think inflation will have a longer tail. people are making a bet with rates coming down, the stock market is a great play and with wages up and consumer sentiment high, it's not surprising.
10:35 am
but i'm nervous. i think it has come too far, too fast. >> sandra: now it's fueling all this talk, especially from those on the left, oh, they have gotten this wrong and pessimistic on the economy and saying it's the media talking down the numbers. >> i've been on the other side of that as you know. >> sandra: axios over the weekend. >> i've been on the other side, i said the market is -- i think -- i'm very cautious. it's gone too fast. >> sandra: and biden bounce, now saying they have been talking down the economy, the media and those on the right, when in reality things are great. is that the case? >> start with the stock market. it is a record high but you have to account for the fact, 20% inflation. so if you took a look at the returns in real terms. >> sandra: wait, wait, 20% inflation. >> i'm talking about -- >> sandra: prices. >> the dow in real terms, 5%, under trump about 20. most americans are not looking
10:36 am
at the stock market, they are looking at their wages, looking at the grocery prices, looking at the -- >> sandra: a lot of people like to look at their 401(k). >> i love a booming stock market, we do. but what i'm saying is if you look at middle america what they are looking at is what things cost and whether their incomes are keeping pace and most are saying they are not. so, yeah, robert's friends on wall street it's a good economy. >> sandra: oh, robert -- ouch. >> here is what i would say to steve. we are around the same age, we've been in the business around the same time. i've been in the market side, he's on the economic side. but over the last 75 years with the democrat as president, it's had stock returns of 11% with republican it's 5.5%. the top five start with clinton, 200 plus percent. >> sandra: you know what they say, we enjoy years of those republican policies after they
10:37 am
leave office. >> we know that's not true because you would not have the skyrocket returns with democrats. >> i have to respond to this. if it were bill clinton on the ticket right now, i would probably vote for him. bill clinton was a pretty conservative, free market, you know, he did welfare reform, we did -- >> obama is number two at 190%. >> biden, we have had massive amounts of debt, massive amounts inflation, it's just not comparing apples with apples. biden has on the economy been pretty bad president. don't have to ask me. just ask 70% of the voters. >> i'm going to totally disagree and you and i will have many debates on this. since 2023, wages are up every month. >> not moving inflation. >> more than inflation, every month since 2023. look at the numbers. you are an economist, you should know that. number two, consumer sentiment at near high. manufacturing near high. people are starting to feel a lot better. household wealth has gone up
10:38 am
dramatically. >> sandra: a lot better from what, the terrible consequences of the initial policies and record high inflation run up in the middle of the last three years? >> record inflation came post covid, when we went from durable goods inflation to services inflation. >> sandra: i love this discussion and if you don't mind, i would like to have you both back. >> people are still behind, they have lost money. >> sandra: they are holding hands. friends after all that. thanks, gentlemen. appreciate it. now this. >> this isn't -- abbott versus biden. not the state of texas versus border patrol. three of the four border states on the southern border are run by democratic governors not enforcing the law, texas is. >> john: the supreme court ruling that agents can take down razor wire that texas put along the border. how will it impact residents in the eagle pass area? we'll speak with one.
10:39 am
10:43 am
>> sandra: the supreme court ruling in favor of the biden administration allowing federal border agents to cut razor wire used in eagle pass, texas, to keep illegal migrants from crossing over the border. carlos says the wire kept keep his community safe. how much razor wire has the border agents been able to cut so far since this news?
10:44 am
>> sandra, no ray -- razor wire so far, the texas national guard has control of shelby park and border patrol is not able to access the wire. the texas department of public safety is holding the line. military department will continue to install even more razor wire along the rio grande here in shelby park and plan to repair or replace anything cut by the border patrol in the future. this is not over. a clear message from governor greg abbott said he will defend texas' constitutional authority to secure the border and prevent the biden administration from destroying property. a lower court ruling last year had barred the federal government from removing the razor wire. but 5-4 vote, the supreme court suspended the ruling at the request of the biden administration which argues a razor wire obstructed border patrol ability to process migrants who are already on american soil and help those who may be in distress.

texas dps told me in emergency situations they will aid migrants through the wire and provide them with medical attention. but the processing center not allowed in the park. single male and females trying to cross over the wire illegally will be arrested, charged with criminal trespassing, taken to a state processing facility, and held in prison before they stand before a court. family and children, though, will be handed over to border patrol. another point worth noting, border patrol has access to the boat ramp here in shelby park. texas dps says it's one way to access the razor wire. will border patrol be allowed here on land in shelby park. sandra. >> sandra: dana marie, thank you. >> john: carlos is a real estate agent and lives near shelby park. how would you describe the
10:46 am
situation on the ground there and the tug-of-war between the federal government and the state of texas? >> well, john, thank you so much for having me on your broadcast. i will say that i am a resident here of eagle pass. i also do live in the downtown area, which is very close to shelby park. on a daily basis we see national guardsmen, state troopers, florida state troopers, go down the street and this is round the clock. you do go down to where shelby park is and see these installations. it does look very militarized, ok. very, very intimidating as well. but yes, it does look -- it's a complete 360 of what we are used to seeing here in eagle pass and as a long time resident,
10:47 am
lifetime resident, it is completely unnatural for us. >> i think you told one of the newspapers there it looks like a war zone in parts of your town now. how is this affecting folks who live in the town, affecting business there in eagle pass? >> well, as a real estate agent i will say that it actually is helping our economy, given the fact we do have national guardsmen and out of state troopers that are taking up rental housing here in eagle pass. now i do agree that it does look militarized. it does not help the appeal of our people and our beautiful city here in eagle pass, but it does help and actually has been boosting the economy, given the fact we had been having national guardsmen and other state
10:48 am
troopers from other states come into town. >> john: that is an interesting side effect of it. in the overall, how is illegal immigration affecting life there in eagle pass? we hear all of these complaints from northern blue cities like new york city and chicago and philadelphia about how they are being overrun with illegal migrants being set up there. what's it like to actually live where everybody is coming across by the thousands every day? >> i will tell you that about a year, a year and a half ago, maybe less, i do live in the downtown area, so we would see a lot of undocumented people in the streets and quite frankly it was a bit nerve wracking, especially since i do live here in the downtown area with my small family. so, and the question of security, i was a bit apprehensive when i would see so much people sleep on the streets, unfortunately, but it
10:49 am
was very nerve wracking to see that. >> john: i'm sure. we'll see how this all works out as we pointed out, the supreme court has told the federal government they can take away this razor wire but the texas national guard is not letting anybody into shelby park just yet. carlos, thank you for your perspective on this. >> thank you so much for having me. >> john: now this. >> hit my drone out of the sky with the football. >> if i hit the drone on the first try, maybe i should come out of retirement. >> you will probably miss. >> i probably will miss. >> first try. >> oh, you've got it. >> sandra: the top youtuber in the world mr. beast seen with tom brady, he's now responded to elon musk's big challenge, and top youtuber jake the viking will join us on them cashing in.

how much could the kids get for this? >> not too bad of a sum, roughly $1,500 for the year, john. this is a proposed two-year pilot program that would cost roughly $1.5 million. as you point out, it would pay cash directly to the parents of kindergarteners and ninth graders who just show up for school. here are the details. the state would make biweekly payments of $25 to parents of participating students. students who kept up 90% attendance rate for the year would get $150 at the end of each quarter and $500 at the end of the year. this proposal comes as the nation struggles with growing absent teeism, 10% or more days. the number of students who are chronically absent has nearl
