>> jesse: hello everybody. i'm jesse watters along with judge jeanine, harold ford six and greg gutfeld. at 5:00 in new york city and new hampshire. this is "the five." it is all on you line tonight. two hours away from the first polls closing and the new hampshire primary and like the state motto says, it is live free or time for the candidates and their campaign. campaign. nikki haley trying to knock taking off his throne. donald trump is looking to put the final nail in the coffin for nikki's campaign. the former president making a surprise stop at a polling location and new hampshire. watch. >> mr. president. if she ate throughout to you? >> i don't care if she stays in. >> nikki elite wanted it to be a two-person race.

complimentary of desantis and kc. i mention that yesterday. this is a first state primary. this is very important. what is significant and different about this primary is that 40% of the state's borders are independence which means that they can vote in either democrat or republican primaries. i personally do not think there is any reason to want to vote any democrat primate since the dnc has said that new hampshire is not falling. we are not going to count them anyway. joe biden is the writing candidate. i see nikki haley benefiting from that scenario where people say, as a democrat, independent who is leading democrat, i will vote for nikki. that bodes well for nikki. i think and the end, mickey is going to have to understand that even though trump says, don't care if she stays in or doesn't. it is a function of money. a function of where people are going to support her if she

doesn't have the big bucks. shame of it is that she did not have the big bucks from the beginning. money waited a while before it came to her. in the end, she loses in iowa, going to lose in new hampshire, the next race is south carolina, donald trump is apparently beating her by 30 points, i believe. how can you loosen your own home state? it is going to be a problem. she can say i'm in it for the long haul, all that happy stuff, she can say fellas in a condescending way, never saying that i am a woman candidate. her play two women may work, may not. numbers are not in her favor. donald trump is the person that the republicans want to. the republican party is now the donald trump party. >> jesse: dana, nikki haley says she wants is to be a one on one. a lot of republicans say, if it i can get it to be one-on-one against donald trump, that is

might shock. how has she done so far? >> dana: she is running against eight and comment, and someone who has never left the republican consciousness since 2020 when joe biden was inaugurated. there is power in that. yes, absolutely, when you have your former rivals joining you in the podium, screaming, chanting, having all of the energy in the room. plus if you look at the clip we have all the media, "mr. president." joe biden does not get that attention. you can see what is happening there. it's last summer, there were a people -- on the republican side telling nikki haley that she should get out because her poll numbers were so low that she could get out and make way for tim scott because he was the person who had a better chance. she has had some incredible achievements with where she started into percent in february, however, we all know what the polling shows.

desantis supporters railing against trump. everybody agrees on everything except the candidates. nikki is a competent leader, but as a candidate, i feel that when she plays the gender and race stuff forward, i feel that it is dictated by the design of this. she turns herself into a product. there is a story about the beauty pageant story. she said five years old she was rejected from a beauty pageant because she was not white or black. these are stories that are dramatic, but, it is like, all right, i don't know -- strange. i want to think about the general election. can i? i was talking to a friend of mine who knows nothing about politics and everything about sports. he was asking me about new hampshire, why should care,

i told him, politics is like sports with consequences. in the politics you can lose to a team by the tiniest margins in that team for four years can tell you what to do. that is why it matters. you look at what is going on with crime and immigration, taxes, education, controlled by a team that barely beat you. you have half a country being dictated by another half, or at least by the executive branch. and they have the refs her on his side of their team. that is what it is important. >> jesse: it is like being ruled by patrick nelms in kansas city and the referees. four years of catastrophe. >> dana: going to be ruled by taylor swift. >> jesse: new hampshire misses you, greg. >> greg: 1.4 million of them.

we have got these brand-new numbers coming and from our fox news-footer analysis collection survey. we conduct this with the associated press. remember, these are early results of what new hampshire primary voters are telling us. we are going to dig into some of the top finding that you will only see here right here and first. what qualities are republicans in that state looking for in their nominee? almost all 95% of g.o.p. voters say their nominees is mental capability is very important. that is far more than they say about other traits like being a strong leader and having the best policies. it is even more about their candidate winning and november. we are going to take a look at how voters look dumb at feel about the charges against a former president and candidate donald trump. a third see them as legitimate. two-thirds see them as

politically faced. really important information coming out of new hampshire. finally, what we have all been waiting for, to see the top issues for republicans on the ground in the state of new hampshire. it is a familiar sight to iowa. and i want, these numbers match. immigration is at the top of the less. in iowa that number was at 41%. economy is second on the list. ten points below immigration an end iowa, number was 33%. you are looking at immigration, the top issue new hampshire and iowa. much different as we have seen on you pulling at the national level where the economy has been number one. i look at some of our first results. much more throughout the night for you. >> harold: thank you, sandra. you guys are up in new ha new hampshire. as a voter analysis consistent to what you guys are hearing and

seeing? >> it definitely for us on "america's newsroom." several voters that have come in. we had voters that were desantis people, haley, and trump people. charles payne has making a good points, the border being broken encompasses a lot of different areas, security, certainly, humanitarian aspect of it. the idea that there is no system. the economy also. so if you are thinking about border as the catch all, the canary and a gold mine for the biden administration, these numbers show. >> greg: i am curious about where these options were presented to these voters because mentally fit would be a given. i went think that in the old days would you even have

new hampshire immigration is the number one issue. for the longest time it was about southern the states. new york city, stumbling over people, seeing what is happening up as a result of what is going on on the hotels and streets. new hampshire? tells me that the issue of immigration will not bode well for the biden administration, nor should it, given the fact that they never enforced the law that says that immigration in order to come to this country, you have to pass a certain muster and do it legally. i think today, greg, when people talk about immigration, colloquially we have been led down the path that it is no longer illegal immigration, just immigration. that is a powerful number, even more powerful because it is in new hampshire. >> harold: it is interesting, supreme court, came down in favor of the biden administration texas and what they're doing. hopefully we can get some
