the iowa caucuses. in 2,000, george w. bush lost the new hampshire primary and 2016 remember trump lost the iowa caucuses. but this year trump won both iowa and new hampshire, even though the governors in both of those states opposed him and even though his opposition outspent him in both states. it's a tremendous victory, and it shows the extent to which republican voters trust him on the issues. the bbc's headline: it's trump's party now. and then fox voter analysis showed that haley has only got 28% of registered republicans, 28%. 70% voted for donald trump now that's because a good church of haley's votes come from self-proclaimed moderates or people who changed their party registration to votes for her a couple months ago. now, these voters did not show up because they are wild about nikki. didn't vote for her because they are wild about her oyez nikki, they showed up because they want

montage. texas moderate john cornyn has decided to give up the dream of someone other than trump. last night he said he has seen enough and it's time to unite to beat biden. look, this isn't complicated. if you want to be the republican nominee in 2028 or 2032 or 2036, you are gonna have to be able to credibly stand and say donald trump did a fantastic job as president he tried to do the best he could for this country. he was unfairly persecuted by the doj and for that we celebrate him and his accomplishments. and guess what? the voters are actually going to have to think that you meant what you said. >> trump's go to lines on the trail. watch. >> i would never let them take away your freedom. never let them take it away. he won over 51%. he won by 30 points. won 98 out of # 9 counties. the only county he lost most liberal county in iowa he lost by one vote. that result was staggering. that's why i have endorsed donald trump. it's clear is he going to be the nominee. the voters have spoken. they spron overwhelmingly. then you look at last night. new hampshire in modern history if you win iowa and win new hampshire, you are the republican nominee. without exception that is the case. new hampshire was nikki's last stance. she put everything in. she had every moderate never trumper billionaire behind her, and she lost. she lost by 11 points. trump won. won decisively in new hampshire. he is the nominee. now, look, i think nikki is probably going to stick around because she has got money. she has lots of people writing her checks that hate donald trump. but this race will end in south carolina. and south carolina trump is going to win. he is not going to win by a little bit. is he going to win by double digits. it could be a 30 point victory like iowa it. will be crushing and my prediction right now is nikki will drop out 18 hours after

what attack ads does ron desantis run? this, i think, will be illuminating to the american public. and. >> laura: okay, frank, i am going to get back to this. but she only won, what was it 26%, 28% of republican voters? and a lot of the people you are referencing are democrats who switched their registration a few months back. >> no, they are not. you know that better. >> laura: we are looking at the exit polls. >> have to switch in october and they didn't switch that early. those are independents. those are centrists. those are key for republican party to not lose again as they lost the senate under trump but they lost the house and no relief is coming. those are exactly the people that the republican party will need to be relevant in the general election. >> laura: just so everyone understands lose something actually winning in new hampshire. you told neil cavuto. >> no, a strong silver metal when you are 18%. >> laura: in new hampshire. >> you are not going to put words in my mouth. >> she must win in new

hampshire. not come in second by two points or one point. in order to be a viable candidate, she must clearly show that she is a winner. she has to win. >> laura: andy, what's changed? do you still agree with your analysis on cavuto that she had to win in new hampshire? >> i said this before, you got to know when to hold them. you got to know when to fold them. it's time for her to fold them. she has absolutely no chance. and to go in to south carolina when you are 31 points down, and you've got two senators, and a governor supporting trump, why humiliate yourself and ruin your political career? she is better off taking that money. i'll be the first one to write her a check in '28. and if, for some unforeseen reason, trump implodes over the next six months for something none of us expect, she has the

money to jump back in. but she is being advised by people that see her as a money chain. they like the money as a consultant. and they know that she drops out, it all dries up. and, you know, ted is a very good friend of mine. ted cruz. but i disagree with him on one thing. the billionaires and millionaires that i know are not following her and planning to keep writing checks and send good money after bad. i don't see that happening. >> laura: frank, do you want to respond to that because, look, i understand a lot of the people who are backing independent movements against trump, you know, they got to put their money somewhere. i have got to understand that when mitch mcconnell comes out in a closed door session today, as reported earlier, and says, look, trump is going to be the nominee, i don't -- all you guys are doing now is helping biden. >> i think the american people get to have a say.
