**. >> sean: welcome to hannity, a busy monday night. the border showdown in texas is heating up. it's now a constitutional crisis and a national security crisis, and governor greg abbott he's not backing down. he'll join with us the very latest. plus, the possible senate border deal would be a disaster for the country. we'll tell you why every republican senator should be strongly opposed to it. but first, american soldiers abroad are under attack. three brave members of the u.s. army, they were killed, and we had, what, over 40 more injured in a drone attack on a base in jordan yesterday. one official is now saying that the drone evaded u.s. defenses because it was mistaken for an american drone? that begs the question, what's going on with our military? we know our defense secretary spent days in the icu, that the commander-in-chief had no knowledge of it at all, and now there are three soldiers dead because of a drone proxy from an iranian proxy, that was mistaken

for a u.s. one? since october 17, there have been at least 165 attacks carried out on our u.s. forces. you see the locations on your screen. how many more times do american troops need to be targeted and attacked before we have a president that will take action and defend them? after all the previous attacks, and no response from president joe, this now became inevitable. just like no consequences ever for russia or china or iran, all these groups causing chaos and destruction in the missile. you have hamas, hezbollah, the houthi rebels, they are all funded and backed by in, the number one state sponsor of terror. former president trump called out biden for his weakness on truth social saying "this brazen attack on the united states is yet another horrific and tragic consequence of joe biden's weakness and surrender," and speaking in south carolina yesterday biden had an opportunity to send a strong

message to his friends, his pals, the mustll last in iran b instead he offered nothing but this tepid response. take a listen. >> i want for you to know that we had a tough day last night. -- they attacked one of our bases. they we shall respond. >> sean: we shall respond. this is pretty much par for the course with this administration. instead of using forceful deterrence, just had a simple message for iran all along. their message when asked what about iran?

and china and the country of russia are so emboldened. it's the reason we woke up yesterday to three dead soldiers and dozens of others injured. joe biden is the appeaser in chief. once again, joe biden, if he didn't respond the other, what, 175 times, what would the iranians expect? nothing. that's why he has blood on his hands. he's caused this. this administration is reportedly turned a blind eye to iran getting rich, with their surging oil sales even as they remain under western sanctions. that's basically joe allowing them to bring billions of dollars into their coffers, again, to sponsor more terror. biden gave iran in, what, $6 billion and a ransom swap and gave iran access to another $10 billion in this case, iraq, in exchange for electricity sales.
6:06 pm
biden is only enabling and appeasing iran and their ability to fund terror groups and the world better pay attention because that same country, iran, is desperately trying to acquire nuclear weapons, and, by the way, they have now aligned themselves with both russian and china. would you be shocked if russia and china would help them with their nuclear program because i would not. they are now enriching uranium almost to the point of being weapons grade. that's at least according to the latest assessment. i don't know if anybody really knows but that's what appease. does. as senator cotton said yesterday, they emboldened, briding the ayatollahs, and now three americans are dead and dozens of others are wounded, and sadly i've been predicting this would happen for months. that's what tom cotton said. and then to make matters worse
6:07 pm
according to nbc news the administration is discussing the idea of slowing some weaponry to israel to pressure them into scaling back their military operations in gaza. after the worst terrorist attack in their history, instead of saying we support your war against terror, that's all you have to do, joe. what is happening in the middle east is devastating. and sadly, all of it preventable were it not for joe's failed and very weak leadership. here with reaction, florida congressman michael waltz is with us. fox and friends, weekend co-hosts, our friend is back with us, too, i listen to joe biden and i hear what he has to say here, and i listen, you know, and i'm just shocked, congressman, because iran has gotten the message that they can, what, you know, they have gotten the message, you know, don't is the message, well, they are not listening to don't because they do and they do and they do again and again and again.
6:08 pm
>> sean, as we all know, don't isn't a strategy. on top of the 165 attacks that you mentioned, they conduct, that's since october, they had conducted 78 on top of that since biden came into office. the reason we have small number of special operators, drone operators, and others in the middle east, is they are still going after isis and keeping a boot on their neck so they don't hit us here. but right now they are sitting ducks for iran and their militias. sean, it is a simple reversal of policy. you hit the irgc operatives that are running around in the middle east including soleimani's successor, number two, you dry up the cash, iran has received over $100 billion in oil sales, waivers, and hostage money since biden has come in, and, number

three that no one has talked about, you had multiple uprisings within iran, the green movement that obama ignored, and the poor woman who was murdered for daring not to wear a hijab, and the uprising following from that murder, let's not sit on our hands the next time the iranian people say they want some change. look, we've got to reverse policy. all roads lead back to teheran. instead of playing with the houthis, hezbollah and hamas, i'm telling you, i'm talking to soldiers downrange right now. we're bombing empty warehouses in the middle of the night so that this administration can check the box and say they are doing something. they are doing nothing that's meaningful, and now we have more gold star families because of it and it's infuriating. >> sean: it is infuriating. at some point when they attack our troops nearly 200 times,
6:10 pm
when do we come to the conclusion that the only thing that they are going to listen to is force? now, add one other component to this, and that would be, i keep reading, and i keep talking to sources, and they keep telling me that-- iran is a lot closer nuclear capability. i can't imagine a world where that's married to nuclear weapons. i don't think mutual destruction would deter them. >> no, that's the headline. this situation gets that much more dangerous and difficult if teheran has nuclear weapons. and that's laid at the feet of obama and biden's appease. strategy who have gotten them that much closer and they know it and now they are counting on russia and china to have their backs as well. -- has been on a remote basis like i have it in afghanistan.

israel, our greatest ally, was stronger, vibrant and thriving. i think we know our answer come this november. let's get donald trump back in the white house, that our enemies fear. >> sean: all right. congressman waltz and pete -- thanks you both. we appreciate you being with us, also tonight, showdown in texas between joe biden and greg abbott. it's heating up. joe biden has set a potential conflict and potential constitutional crisis between federal border agents and the texas national guard. he's being pressed by liberals to nationalize the texas guard. he had set a deadline of friday, last friday, thankfully it looks like border patrol agents, they have been very clear, they aren't going to be listening to joe biden. they have no intention of cutting down any razor wire either. sadly, this is all preventable. we have laws on the book. jared also points out in his latest column article one section 10 clause three of our constitution explains that
6:14 pm
states have a sovereign interest in protecting their own borders from an invasion. by the way, nothing in that supreme court order said that texas either had to cut down the laser wire or prevented from putting up more. that is elevated when the president an bro-cates. when the fbi was at its best. sending a leader to speaker johnson earlier this month warning that the u.s. is being invaded for the first time in modern history by military age men. and this crisis squarely falls on the shoulders of your president, joe biden. he inherited the most secure border possible from former president trump. but from day one, he worked to undo all of the progress that president trump had made. he rescinded the trump era policies that made our border secure in the first place.
6:15 pm
he signed executive order after executive order. for example, the one that revoked trump's efforts to exclude illegal immigrants from the census. he strengthened daca. he canceled trump's interior enforcement rule. he stopped construction of the border wall, ended the remain in mexico policy and let title 42 expire. there are nearly 10 million unvetted joe biden illegal immigrants roaming throughout the country. no radical association checks, no health checks, no checks to see if they can -- if they will be a burden on the american taxpayers. tens of thousands now, we know coming from those countries that you see on your screen. not exactly our top geopolitical allies, are they? russia, china, egypt, syria, iran, afghanistan, why are we allowing tens of thousands of people from those countries into our country? joe biden has created a clear and present danger, and a major threat to this country's national security. texas absolutely has a

constitutional right to safeguard their borders. governor abbott is doing the right thing. because joe biden is clearly unwilling and unable and has been part of the problem. here with more, texas governor greg abbott. governor, first, i applaud your efforts. you've been on this show many times. you've tried convoys, you have done everything humanly possible. so your state with its constitutional right has put up the razor wire. they take you to court on that and now they set up a confrontation between your national guard and federal border troops. now, i don't think either side of that equation wants to be enemies. they are all on the same side, aren't they? >> they are. and as you pointed out, and as border patrol council and border parole members have made clear to texas and to myself, they want to have nothing to do with regard to tearing down that razor wire or tearing down the barriers that texas has erected
6:17 pm
for one simple reason. and that's because they are working. border patrol says what texas has done to secure the border actually makes their job even easier. the only resistance we're facing is coming from joe biden. know this, sean, and that is joe bide isn't in violation of federal law that already exists. for one, he's not living up to his duty to deny illegal entry across the board instead he's aiding illegal entry. the second thing is once people do cross the board he's not detaining them as he's required by law and so he's giving mass parole across the country because joe biden is not enforcing the federal immigration laws, that gives texas the right under that article one section 10 of the constitution to defend ours from imminent harm or invasion. texas has every constitutional right in this case, and i believe when the sun sets on this, texas will be vindicated and the constitution will be

strengthened. >> sean: yes. you know, we have relevant u.s. laws. joe bind has been aiding and abetting in the law breaking. joe biden, i'll even go further. he's violate -- violating throughs of this country. i could put on the screen, title 8, 1324, prohibits alien smuggling, domestic transportation, you know, it goes into every harboring illegal immigrants, encouraging or inducing. if i did any win of the things joe biden has now constitutionized i would be in jail and i doubt that the best lawyers in america could get me off the hook. >> well, fairpoint but also you're making another profound point. you listen to all of those different ways the biden administration has these duties and responsibilities. because they are not just doing
6:19 pm
that job poorly, but because they have totally abandoned doing that job whatsoever, that's exactly what gives texas the constitutional right, for texas to be able to act. so by texas building the barriers and by us taking action to repel illegal immigration we're fully authorized because the federal government has ceded or conceded the field of immigration enforcement and texas has picked up that duty and we're the ones doing self-enforcement. let me tell you this amazing number, sean. if you know where that park is, texas now has taken over, and we've blockaded that park, that's an area where sometimes over the past year, there would be as many as two or three or more than that, thousand people coming across the border a day. yesterday, there were just six beam crossing the border. all six of those people were arrested by texas law enforcement officers. we have now cracked down and been able to staunch the flow of
6:20 pm
illegal immigration. biden should want this replicated across the entire border. that's what texas is trying to do as we speak. >> sean: i got to say one good thing, your fellow republican governors have been pretty amazing. they have all come to your defense, every one of them. and they are offering guard troops, they are offering razor wire, they are offering all the help, they understand that you're bearing the brunt of this but they also understand that their states are also impacted by joe biden's open borders. and these people are unvetted, as i keep pointing out. and now joe biden is being encouraged to federalize your state guard? what happens if he tries that because he did have a deadline of friday. he hasn't done anything as usual, but what if that happens. >> if he tries to do that, first of all, as you know, this is the number one issue in america. americans want a secure border. if joe biden federalizes our
6:21 pm
national guard that would be the biggest political blunder that he could make and that's why i think he won't do it. that said, of course, i am prepared in the event that they do make such a blunder, to make sure that texas will be able to continue to secure our border. >> sean: i'm not even going to ask you what your plan is because i don't want you to telegraph it to them but that you have a president that is aiding and abetting, close to 10 million, joe biden, unvetted illegal immigrants in this country. you've heard from the fbi, warning that this is an invasion. warning that these are -- a lot of these people are, you know, men that are of age that they could wage war on the country. what are the odds from these countries that they are coming from, that they have radical associations that are setting up, you know, sleeper cells here
6:22 pm
in america? i would say the odds are a hundred percent myself. i hope i'm wrong. >> so, sean, what you just said taps into the words, in article one section 10 clause three where it talks about imminent danger. we're in imminent danger because as you point out, these are facts. there are people who are known terrorists, who are coming across the border, that pose an imminent danger whether it be in texas or some other state. because biden is not doing his job, that fully authorizes the state of texas to protect our state and our country from that imminent danger. >> sean: governor, i applaud what you're doing. it's unfair that texas has to go through. this i am glad that your fellow republican governors have all stepped up and are offering you assistance in any way they can. that speaks volumes about them. i hope the united states -- >> and sean, if i could, let me just say, thank you to my fellow governors, half of america, now, is standing against the biden

caroline, good to see you, thank you. first, i'm not going to get -- i like taylor swift. i don't like the way some people have been talking about her, treating her. i wish her and travis kelsey the best. she's pretty amazing young woman. she writes her own songs. she does 40 plus songs in her concerts. she's great to her fans. she gives big bonuses to her crew. she's got a lot of great qualities. however, i just hope somebody might show her a montage of creepy joe, and incoherent joe before she makes such an endorsement. this way she'll be an informed endorser. i don't think she probably has seen all of that. >> no. i don't think she has either, sean. let's not forget that taylor swift has made a career off of writing songs about picking the wrong man so i don't think we should take advice from her now but in all seriousness, the democrats are saying that the taylor swift endorsement is their hail mary to try and get joe biden over the finish line

in november. it shows how much they are panicking about the prospect of biden being evicted from the white house in november to trump. and that's becoming increasingly likely. there have been over a hundred polls showing trump beating joe biden. he's never been in a better position to win. people are fearful of the chaos we see other our southern border and around the globe. they are rightfully concerned about joe biden's very obvious cognitive decline and they are also fed up with bidenomics ripping them off. the average american is paying $11,000 more to have the same quality of life they did under donald trump. this may not be a lot of money to swift but it is to millions of hard-working people across this country so that's why this endorsement strategy won't cut it and president trump will prevail nevertheless in november. >> sean: it's like van joan said, his advice was joe biden should hide. which he did in the 2020
