"the ingraham angle" is now. >> laura: good evening, everyone. i'm laura ingraham. this is "the ingraham angle." thank you for joining us.

my angle on the border fiasco in moments. but, first, the u.s. military launched an air assault against dozens of sites in iraq and also in syria. that were used as staging grounds for iranian backed militias. these are the first military strikes after that drone attack killed three american soldiers and, of course, injuring more than 40 others in jordan just last weekend u.s. airstrikes hit 85 targets. command and control centers and aerial vehicle sites. fox news national correspondent mike can tobin has been watching all of this from tel aviv. mike, what can you tell us? >> i can tell you, laura, we have confirmation now from the u.s. central command that some 85 locations were hit by 125 u.s. munitions. seven different locations or i should say 85 targets were hit at seven different locations. three of them inside of iraq.
4:02 pm
four of them inside of syria. now, an iraqi military spokesman, despite a claim from john kirby, that the iraqi government was informed. the iraqi military spokesman says the u.s. has now violated the sovereignty of iraq and threatens to pull the region down into further chaos we have unverified videos surfacing. showing damage inside iraq as u.s. con -- getting involved in the battle damage assessment process at this moment. that is in the area of al-qa'im. very near the border with syria. just a short distance across the border with syria. we know that locations al kemal, may dean. weapons, bunkers, weapons facilities, facilities that support logistics.
4:03 pm
despite all of this, the iranian proxies were not deterred, at least the houthis not to this point. and this is despite the u.s. telegraphing these attacks. we saw a rocket strike aimed at the south of israel from the area of the red sea earlier in the day. that was intercepted by israel's arrow air defense system. what we have not seen at this point and what everyone is nerve us havely anticipating is any fire from hezbollah in the north or more fire from gaza strip or additional fire from the houthi. >> laura: pretty confident the struck significant in the degrading of those sites. is that what you are hearing? >> well, we really at this point have to go through the u.s. sources for that the israelis, the people in the middle east aren't really commenting on that. really what we're getting from
