important for american liquefied natural gas to replace the gas sending to europe i think it's important for us to have the benefit of selling natural gas and other countries such as qatar in this world. i believe one of the massive strategic strengths is our energy. our clean energy, fossil fuels i think that's a shortsighted decision but. >> you mentioned aid obviously the senate has passed a package that includes aid for ukraine, israel, taiwan, other interests out there as well. do you consider the ukraine and israeli threats equal? are they is as urgent to you in both cases question rick would do if the house will not pass this package but for standalone pieces for ukraine and say separately for is really? >> i don't think we shouldst pass a stand alone package is both a very urgent the house has shown they cannot pass the israeli aid by itself.

in the senate we pass it not just with democratic vo democra2 republican votes. we got 70 votes for this package you cannot get 70 votes for anything in the united states senate. that is a reflection of how urgent republicans and democrats in the senate feel about this. i believe it's a reflection of the american people's sense of urgency when democracy is under attack. and the american people sense they want america to lead. they do not believe in the isolationist rhetoric it's before we went into world war ii. not shined well on those people looking for every excuse for america not to lead in this fight for democracy. this fight for freedom. this fight for the western world which is what we are engaged in

do you disagree? what do you say to those some on the senate side are proposing to be conditions would you vote for conditions on aid to israel that require them to do something like a two state solution? >> i completely disagree with what prime minister netanyahu said but i don't know that he would care to hear me say that. but i do completely disagree with it. he is animated by his own domestic political interests he wants to stay in charge. he's pursuing the policies he is pursuing. important to continue as democratic and republican administrations have over generations free to state solution. that will be the only solution that we will endure. there is no way for they are to be an independent democratic israel jewish only states in the

president biden is going to have to go out and litigate this election. the economy getting better every day. the coalition he's put together. over russia's invasion of ukraine. obviously the situation in the middle east is a grave one. and the american people are reacting understandably to the chaos that is therapy the question i would ask if i and i will ask which is more likely to bring more chaos which is more likely to be able to work with allies around the world to bring a more enduring if not peace, a path forward in the middle east. that is alluded all of us need

policy. his comments about nato and letting people within nato be attacked if they have not paid their dues. she says she is very concerned about the relationship between president trump and vladimir putin. here is her take. >> he is going to side with a thug who kills his political opponents? he is going to side with a dictator who arrests our american journalists and hold them hostage? he is going to side with a dictator who has not hidden his hatred for america? >> why would president trump give the appearance he would support any of those things? >> it is ridiculous. i am not sure what nikki is doing right now. i think she is in desperate without question she's going to lose her home state in double digits of her there's not a state coming up that she can win. even in new hampshire she laughs women but it's a donald trump right she lost millennial's to donald trump. she left the seniors to donald trump. here's what i can say about donald trump and foreign policy. without any question the resources necessary to protect

rhetoric coming out of the haley camp talking about people's age. we see that haley camp in the family referring to me as judas iscariot too. we are hearing a lot of chatter out of the haley camp. not just the matching the rhetoric from the trump side but going further. why? they are desperate. here is what i can guarantee you in just six days a president trump a wind my home state of south carolina. we will see a total sweep in the state. you go to super tuesday he will run the tape there as well but then we will turn our attention to where it should be now on joe biden. joe biden is underwater in all of the battleground states which means that the momentum continues we will have four more years of donald trump. that means we will have a law and order, not chaos in the streets will have the strongest economy with the low inflation we have not seen that.

to give folks a choice. again the early states have been kind of filters to try to narrow it down to one on one race. got not, that's great. nikki haley is raising a ton of money she has resources she is going to buy the super tuesday states she's going to do very well there. she's going to do wellin her home state of south carolina there is a lot to play here. nikki haley had about 4% of the vote about six weeks before it new hampshire and in that timeframe she wiped out every other candidate got within 10 points showing there is a real alternative here. there is a choice it. this election is not just about the primary it is about november. nikki trounces abided in november. but with trump is going to be a nailbiter just like in 2022 we lost the candidates and weight lost in 20. this is about winning you cannot govern if you don't win you can't pass these policies she trounces bite and the fear is if trump is the nominee ultimately bideinvited all insects presenta nice states is harris. that is a reality of the domino

effect trump would have in america. shannon: it seems like an argument that primary voters are not buying there is also the issue of all the polling has shown the governors on favorability is ticked up her favorability is ticked out over the past couple of months but one analyst put it this way there is a significant dip in favorability and rise i and on favorability it seems to correspond with her increasing attacks on trump this would seem to indicate in south carolina as apparently in the nation as a whole the republican party is a very much trump's party. is there room for nikki haley in a party that most analysts thanks belongs to donald trump? >> absolutely. let's look at south carolina they traditionally have a low voter turnout for a lot of the opportunity nikki has is talking to the republican voters talking to some of the independent voters that are more conservative but typically stay on the sidelines and getting them out to vote. there is a lot of margin for improvement to get the new butter out. that is where it nikki steam has

been hitting the ground and having some success the polls show those type of numbers. the polls in new hampshire had nikki down by 20 of the day before the primary should close each about 10 points you cannot just look at the polls this is all decided at the voter box. and it two or three states do not dictate the nominee for president for everybody else. to say were going to look at a few hundred thousand folks and they are going to tell us who are nomination be should be for the entire party the entire country, no that's not the way it should work you've got to take this through super tuesday and start showing trump's most recent comments overseas on putin that is undoubtedly going to hurt him. those are un-american comments they really are. the fact she is raising money and spending money on a campaign he is spending all of his money right now at least 50 -- 60 million on his legal fees. where are the resist is going to come from? has it record low amount of cash on hand because of his

leadership and his type of message but you need everybody to get in your if you don't have the suburban moms back if you don't do some the young voters back you cannot win in november and that's what this is about. >> do you think all that legal cases are legit nonpartisan apolitical cases against him? >> no i don't but that does not matter he still going to have to spend 50 -- $100 million abetting himself. that is kind of the point whether it is legitimate or not does not matter he has chaos that surrounds him. it absolutely does it will keep surrounding him if he were to become president so nothing is going to ultimately get done. when you buy off on them or not does not matter the fact is they are his at cassin's got to handle it. >> nearest times of peace said saturday all of the punches governor haley is landing on president trump are actually hoping president bite in the general election. quoting tyler jones a democratic strategist in south carolina said ms. haley has been aiding the biting campaign by making the most effective attacks on donald trump. but in republican spaces.

statistically there's almost zero chance she can pull off the nomination. why continue to do things to help president bite in the general? >> first of all it not a zero chance she's going to win the nomination for that is nonsense in itself. that is a primary. in >> to 2016 everyone had shot that trumps in all of that you cannot attack the front right of the democrats might use it. i'm battling it out and calling the candidates for what they are where they going for? where are the policies going to go? it's absolute fair game and should be on the table for folks to make their choice disable to two or three states and call it a day that is crazy that's praying the former president gets a free ride. he has not earned a free ride he does not deserve a free ride. the republican party deserves options and choices in the next generation of leadership that

and very southern countries. the question is what is the basis for that you impose a 350 million or more in damages plus another 100 million that's going to come from interest in the case where there was $0 lost by the banks the banks said they wanted to do more business with the guy you just barred from doing business with them. the question of the excessiveness of that fine does raise a serious appellate issue not just for the new york court of appeals will potentially for the supreme court. shannon: tom, all the questions on the bill people are asking questions about the banks if there were quote unquote victims are stone came forward and said he lost all this money and i'm in the hole because of this guy why are banks and other institutions who are worn do your own due diligence to your own appraisals and estimates where they not caught up in this law? what's at the great points. that fact as these are not unsophisticated business actors these banks of the among the most sophisticated business entities in the united states they themselves do their own due diligence to look at the materials that borrowers are

submitting to them on that sort of thin thing what makes this ce unusual is new york's law did not require the attorney general to prove there was a victim andn fairness she didn't need to prove that but here's the thing i am not aware of other cases where you have a prosecutor choosing to bring charges and claims of this nature when you don't have a bank or someone coming in saying i was victimize this dr. to spit on the books for a long time. i cannot think of many other prosecutions are similar to what happened here. shannon: looked into the other state case. this is in georgia kenny willis was on the four allegations of such here's a little bit of her on the stand. which is highly offensive when they try to implicate that you slept december the first they met with them. contradictory is contrary to

been raised. you would think at some point, pull her aside and say step aside, let a new team come in and take the case over. >> she and mr. wade said there were no relationship prior to the working relationship starting and there is no sharing their cash repayments by her to him for what he spent do you think the judge has seen an up or would take the step to say where there's smoke there's fire? >> one thing is clear is no one will ever say election laws boring again. but the astonishing thing about this issue of two prosecutors who stand accused of filing false statements in court. mr. wade is accused of answering falsely. and willis is accused of making false statements in her own filings that is what they are prosecuting defendants in the case four. building on what tom said at some point you have to recognize your personal interest have to give away to the interest of the case in the office. they have not done that. has the judge heard enough? yes that he is still the top
