us. >> i was talking to them after your segment. you did such a great job and such nice people. and they were saying that the city is going to come back and talk -- there is going to be a third meeting. hopefully they are hoping that the 30 time is the charm. one of the women that you spoke to, ruth, she was wearing the green, and i -- she is so funny. i was talking to her i said it is nice though that mariucci adams went to these meetings twice. and she was like nice? that's his job. guns at the suggestion of border patrol because they say, you know, nine out of 10 of the people coming across are just looking for a better life. the one has got a rap sheet. and you got to be careful of that. so they do call border patrol all the time and they show up and they are chasing people. >> lawrence: steve, it's also important to note to the audience don't be fooled. when you see the numbers come down in texas what greg abbott and texas dps is doing is working. >> guy: there is movement. >> lawrence: shift northern border seeing them in arizona. they don't have a strong government willing to put national guard on the line. so you have got to see talking points coming out the next couple weeks from the administration saying look at the southern border. the numbers are down while not doing any work about it. no, they are being shifted to other areas. the cartel is very smart. >> guy: northern border is massive with all the depleted resources down at the southern border, there's a problem up north. >> carley: 5525 miles long. there are 2200 border patrol agents patrol that whole

joe than who? then you got kamala harris who charlamagne equally went after in that interview, guy. >> guy: there is a problem in terms of enthusiasm, obviously. but this paralysis, what do you do? if they all got together, the powers that be in the party and said, okay, we have to move on from biden then what? there is not an easier clean answer to that question. the other thing that caught my attention from that piece from lucas. >> the sound bite from rashida tlaib. >> steve: vote uncommitted. >> guy: don't vote for joe biden in the democratic primary. she has a real constituency within that party. within the base, which is disturbing to me given that she was the only member in congress to refuse to vote for a resolution condemning hamas' sexual violence on october 7th. she wouldn't bring herself to vote for that and she has a significant number of followers, not just that state but around the country. >> carley: we will have to wait to see what those michigan primary results look like. you can imagine that it could be a big story if you see larger

percentage than you would think, vote uncommitted. and do what she is saying to do. what's that going to look like. what's that dig going to be like for the current president? i'm reminded now of what he said in 2020 that he was going to serve as a bridge to the new generation of leaders. and a lot of people said, okay. that's one term. i think even he might have been thinking that he would be a one termer. >> guy: he is expanding the bridge. steve the bridge needs replacing. >> guy: exactly. >> carley: the issue is that the democratic party has no bench. if they did have a candidate. you can't rely on kamala harris. he probably wouldn't be the nominee but, because they don't and because the stubborn factor that lawrence you brought up, i think he is gonna be. >> steve: you know what? the cleanest way for them to do it would be at the convention. it has worked in the past. there would be less blood shed but that would be a crazy convention. guy it would be messy. >> steve: one word about michigan. that is she may be calling for people to vote uncommitted but it is still a union state.

doesn't prevent him from appointing a trusted advisor or even a family member to run things in his absence. hour, the financial penalties, you can't get around it. they are huge. the judge ordered him to pay $355 million, close to 100 million in interest, to pay that fine he could have to sell some of his new york real estate holdings, more likely as close enough to that in cash on hand. now, the biggest challenge could lie in financing needs. the judge ruled he can't get loan from institutions. big banks headquartered here in new york. instead smaller institutions or friends for any personal or business loans. also a world where former president trump doesn't remain in new york. that's a sentiment that's being shared by other new york business leaders. governor kathy hochul though is trying to calm their fears. watch. >> a law-abiding and rule-following new yorkers who are business people have nothing to worry about because they are very different than donald trump and his behavior. >> now i can tell you from what

even though the highest court is occupied, the full court by seven justices appointed by democrat governors. but, even they, would look at and this say it's ludicrous. because, under the law, guy, damages must always reflect the measurable harm. here there was none. not a single person lost money. nobody testified they were injured. just the opposite. lending banks made enormous profit. so, you know, how in the world you can use a consumer protection statute where the consumer has not been harmed is a legal mystery. you know, the bank executives testified they were never defrauded or deceived. this was a biased judge who happily bought into the contorted arguments of the democrat attorney general who ran on the promise to get trump. >> guy: that's indisputable, she did on tape. and using the law law to do exactly that there is no victim.

that's where people get hung up. look, if there is someone who has been harmed, fine. as the trial played out, that wasn't the case. i was struck by a.p. story. they went back and looked at this law and the application of this law over 70 years. they never found a single other example of it being used this way. i think that speaks volumes. >> yeah. i think it is. and, you know, look, this was an attorney general who as i say campaigned on a promise to target a specific individual. and then spent a couple of years searching for an offense to pin on him. you know, when you campaign on a promise like that, when you pre-judge a case, that you don't even have access to the evidence and preordain an outcome, that is an egregious, violation of the canons of ethics that govern prosecutors. look, donald trump didn't prepare his financials.

say a man with a helmet spray painted over in her apartment complex. been missing since december after sending two friends text messages right before she vanished. todd piro with the details. >> revealing that anna marie disappeared shortly after that man in a helmet sabotaged the security cameras at the madrid apartment complex she was staying at. anna had traveled from florida to spain back in december for a trip meant to get over a nasty divorce from her husband. things seemed to be going well on that trip until about two weeks ago when friends received some strange text messages from anna's phone before she went silent. one of those messages was in english. the other in spanish. both saying that she was running off for a few days with a man she had just met. sanna space ram mow joined me earlier saying this is completely unlike her everything

you are never in the area where this crash took place. but all of the sudden you saw a motorcyclist going about 115 miles per hour. and then what happened? >> i was just patrolling the area. the vehicle passed me at high rate of speed and then i saw a bright flash up ahead of me and a cloud of smoke. and as i rolled up closer i saw the motorcycle on the ground. my initial reaction was to try to find the motorcyclist but then i heard kailey screaming a and her honking her horn and i ran over to immediately help her. and come to find out there were two kids in the car. and the deceased motorcyclist. >> so the motorcyclist died. and you were first dealing with cailee's older daughter, 3 years old and then kayleigh, you said i have another daughter, and we heard the emotion in your voice, extremely understandable. sergeant musgrove, what happened next? i mean, you pulled the baby out of the car and then what?

>> once i had the one baby, i had to find something to do with her. i had to-to-reach out to bystanders and thank god interest was a mother present that pulled over. a male by the name of hunter helped me tremendously. >> if it weren't for him and the mother, you know, we would have been a lot more time taken to get to lola who needed us immediately. >> carley: lisa, what would you like to say about this? this is about the most horrifying thing a mother, a grandmother can go through. how are you feeling right now? >> well, i can say this is the worst thing i have ever been through in my life. having your daughter call you on the phone, someone a bystander gave her the phone. she called me and she is screaming mom, she is dead. she is dead. local la is dead. lola is dead. i'm like where are you? my husband and i went immediately to the scene. and of course, i got my other granddaughter, tried, you know, to calm her and help her.

i'm so grateful. dave's our hero. he always will be. i know he doesn't like to be called that but there is nothing else to call him. yes, he was doing his job. what he did by doing his job, was life-changing for my entire family because we would not have baby lola had it not been for him and his quick action. so, there's no debt of gratitude to either side of the family that we could pay to him. we are seeing lola make good progress. i mean, she still is on a ventilator. but like cailee said she is opening her eyes and, you know, looking at us and moving her legs. >> carley: thank god. >> doing a lot of normal things for a 6-month-old. >> carley: it's a blessing. >> we know it's a long road. but because we won't know with her traumatic brain injury the full offense for a long time to come. but as long as we have baby lola, that's -- we'll deal with
