lacrosse -- cofounder of lacrosse my heart and a long island hammer head wheelchair lacrosse player and mike nelson that is the u.s. lacrosse long island chapter president. i'm going to start with you, zack. you cofounded this organization and how did you know this was a need that the community had out there for lacrosse players with disabilities? >> well, we've been playing since we were 5 and lacrosse has done so much for us and we wanted to give back to the community by connecting through organizations like the hammer heads or people that have not been exposed to lacrosse and the love of a sport at a young age. rachel: joe, you have a disability and you're in a wheelchair and what does this mean to you? >> community support is huge for programs like ours. we are a community-based

program. there is not a lot of great fundraising opportunities for us so when organizations like zack's comes to us and says, hey, we want to help you out and do something, it's huge. it also shows that we play lacrosse, they play mak play las a common thread. rachel: i love that common thread between all of you and love for lacrosse and, mike, how proud are you of the lacrosse community right now? >> first, how impressed i am with the young guys and they've restored our faith in america and taking on this initiative and thinking of someone other than themselves and people from the lacrosse community to a lacrosse community. rachel: we're proud of all those
