within the margin of error the latest fox poll so it is really close. how can the president has not been able to turn these polls around so far? >> i think certainly a few of the president's team you are looking at these poll numbers and there are a lot of warning signs. you are seeing the president is not polling as well as some of those electorate. that he was able to cl clench te last time around. we aren't looking at witnesses with african-american. weaknesses with hispanics. those are some key demographics that should certainly be warning signs for him. additionally we are looking at difference and excite that can be very telling. this is what gets people out to the polls. while those who supported the former president, president trump are likely going to support him and those who support biden are going to support him, the question is can

you motivate those voters who used to support president biden? a lot of voters i've spoken with have been unhappy with his dealings at the border. with his dealings with the gaza war many of them may sit out and not participate at all. that could be extremely concerning. eric: especially michigan. the president basically needs in michigan. king key swing state you have many arab americans who pulled for uncommitted in terms of that campaign to try to put us against his policies. will that continue into the general election perhaps? i think it certainly really could that should've been a warning sign for the biden administration looking at those who are very unhappy with how hisdealing with the situation in gaza. will it be enough to get a bunch of democrats to sit at home? unclear at this point when you

are looking at the polling you are seeing the majority of the polling showing people are really unhappy with the direction of the country. we are even looking at the economy showing the folks are looking at their paychecks. they are getting a little bit more they don't associate those changes wh with the biden ministration is doing the. >> what message hasn't gotten across the biden white house they point out record unemployment get smp blowing up through the roof people get their 401(k) it could be really, really good. yes we had inflation but that's not ticking downwards they say how come that message is not gone through so far? >> i would say it has a lot to do with grocery prices are still at record highs and unfortunately that is not have anything to do with what the biden administration is doing for those are really outside factors and then you are also looking at housing.

obviously these record high interest rates are plaguing a lot of americans and a lot of people look at the economy based on these two things. things are not necessarily getting better in those two directions. so people are unhappy. we are eight months out until the general election and anything can happen. this polling certainly does not look good for the biden ministration as we are looking to the general election. eric: one interesting in the polling although the polls show people blame the president for what is happening at the southern border, the poll does not completely bear that out. take a look at this how much to blame the following for the southern border? most people 52% a great deal on congress. another party fox poll 81% say it is congress lack of action not the president. why disinfect a more proximate

traction if more people are blaming congress that the bipartisan deal blew up critics blaming him for that why has that not gotten through and congress is getting more blame than the president on the immigration situation? >> it is an interesting point of this pool think it shows a voters are turned off by the fighting appear in washington. they are tired of the back-and-forth they really want to see people coming to a conclusion. this was a bipartisan deal obviously it was rejected by an overwhelming number. the voters want to see people working together to get something done. especially something as dire as the border. we are single record numbers and all the crime going on. people want a solution the blame is not necessarily always going towards the white house we just folks up here in washington who are not working together doing enough. eric: they make it that message
