♪. jon: former president donald trump captures more delegates is less primary challenger nikki haley gears up for what could be her final stand on super tuesday. meanwhile president biden's approval rating is dropping ahead of a state of the union address. good evening i am jon scott and this is the fox report. ♪ i knew fox news a poll shows trump with a two-point lead in a potential rematch against president biden. that is slightly down from the last two months but still good news for the former president. fox news team coverage joe reacting to that pole and more fox pulls out today but lucas tomlinson with the latest reaction from the white house. following the haley campaign in portland, maine. these polls seem to keep going

in the wrong direction for president biden as you mentioned brand-new fox news polling just out today shows donald trump and nikki haley would beat joe biden in a head-to-head match up if it were held today but let's get right into those polls right now the first wynford nikki haley shows her up eight points over joe biden 42% for biden, 50% for haley look at the numbers for trump shows up two points over biden provided 47 trump 49 we should point out that's within the margin of error which is two and half points. this is video of an nikki haley in burlington, vermont holding a campaign rally she says the polls show she is the best shot republicans have two beat joe biden head to head in november she is touting recent endorsement from alaska senator lisa murkowski and maine senator susan collins. she has not won a state yet. but, she knows she has to perform in super tuesday could be make or break for her campaign.

here in south lake tahoe california the massive winter snowstorm begins to wind down. massive amounts of snow here in the mountains. more than 6 feet in some spots. today people are digging out like here where workers are trying to get decent gondola back up and running. blizzard warning runs at until midnight tonight at elevations above 6500 feet the winds continued to whip over mountain passes interstate 80 the main route between reno and sacramento had to be shut down friday afternoon. cars were spinning out and crashing. trucks jackknifing the windblown snow was making it extremely dangerous acc a california hoe patrol shut down the interstate it was closed saturday as well as into sunday. u.s. 50 another major road into the sierra shut down for a time on sunday because of a snow slide. power outages were not as widespread as originally feared more than 30,000 customers lost

jon: a young dentist is gunned down inside of his california office 28-year-old benjamin and two others including the office receptionist were shot thursday. the suspect muhammad abdul kareem is a disgruntled former patient who have had been planng the crime for weeks. authorities say he was arrested hours later with the legally purchase a handgun in possession. border patrol agents today at shot and killed an illegal immigrant accused of robbing other migrants who would cross the border and enter the u.s. griff jenkins is live in texas with more on them. >> good evening john. that is sources confirm to fox news the elite unit shot and killed a criminal migrant who had crossed over and was robbing actively other migrants were simply trying to turn themselves

over to agents to be processed. this happened in a remote area of the san diego sector near california. now take a look at some valence images posted by border patrol chief jason orens last week at a similar area showing a similar incident. this is not today's incident but these images are from last week when we saw armed migrants robbing other migrants. that has become a little bit of a problem no border patrol agents were harmed in today's incident. meanwhile border patrol encounters continued to surging. more than 7000 encounters in the last 24 hours. finally, take a look at brenda video today. not one, but two of these came from central america and venezuela but all of this comes one of the remaining top issues 41% of americans consider the situation at the border to be an emergency. that is up from 7% since last
