just because he is epitome of character. he did so well, underestimated his whole career. but the university of georgia has had your heart broken for a good reason in the last week, and it was really cool to see a positive headline for a somewhat underdog from my hometown doing well at the combine to give us a go dawgs, go dawgs, go dawgs! it's always good to see people who maybe don't make it the first time. michael jordan, for example. i believe tom brady also was brock purdy. everybody looked past brock purdy, just made it to the super bowl long list of people. all right. well that does it for us. we'll see you next weekend. life, liberty and levin starts right now. mike there's moonshine in the trunk. moonlight's on our tail like if we get caught, they're gonna haul us off to jail. they'll like, rip it out of you, jesse

11:04 pm
>> where are you waiting to take executive action? works because we need more forces on the board i do not have authority to do that. >> president biden's approval rating for his handling of the border has reached an all-time low. a new box i would by immigration and abortion. a majority of voters say biden has made america weaker. 36% say stronger. numbers that trail former president donald trump in 2020. only a quarter of those saved biden's policies have helped their family. nearly half say they have hurt. 45% say trumps the policies helped. >> no excuses because the truth is aid flowing to gaza is nowhere near enough of. >> u.s. military conducted its first air drop into gaza three u.s. air force cargo planes dropped 38002 palestinians are

familiar sites along the southern border smugglers apprehended in eagle pass, texas saturday attempting to transport migrants pass authorities. a group of more than 100 turn themselves into agents in brownsville purchased hours before president biden arrived thursday. in the latest box of polling 41% of americans consider the situation at the border to be an emergency. up 7% since december. this after dueling presidential visits in texas separated by 30. >> we need to act. it's time for the speakers and some of my republican friends in congress who are blocking this bill to show a little spine. >> united states is being overrun by the bye didn't migrant crime it's a new form of vicious violation to our country. >> they receive a failing grade when it comes to approving border security with less than one quarter of voters in their efforts as a success. the challenges of the border showed no majshow no major signg

11:08 pm
problem they want to assign blame 81% is congresses lack of action. you voted against the senate deal many people had problems with it structurally and a policy wise. what do you tell americans about what the realistic path forward is on the border? >> the realistic path forward if you want to end the crisis begins with joe biden reversing the executive orders that he made. every single one of them was designed to reverse a trump policy. all those executive orders for the first time in american history we have a president who will not detain the people enter the country illegally. the immigration system is complete with the laws are pretty straig straightforward it defines who is allowed to be in the country it says that you're here illegally should be detained for removal. we used to have exceptions to that. narrow exceptions majority of people were detained now the verses happened the exceptions have become the rule you enter the united states illegally you are going to be released or chance has been released under the country very quickly are between 85 and 90%.
11:09 pm
people know this the word spreads a guy come from all over the world now seven-point to million people in this country that it entered over the last three years are here illegally at this moment entering through different methods and in various ways that got here. that is an unsustainable thing paid all that was driven by these changes. you can see it in the numbers beginning in january 2021 when joe biden entered the white house pretty is a reverse and go back to the policies that were in place before them when we didn't have these numbers for. >> if he does that would you support him? he's got a lot of pressure on the left saying do not go do things you blessed president trump forget you may also actually change what's happening at the border. giving him an optical win and an election year would you support him and executive action? >> of course and of course not only support him with calls what he should have done that before. we spent two and a half years argued with the biden administration of the weather was a crisis at all. we cannot forget that for two and a half years biden and all the surrogates and deputies all
11:10 pm
said there is no crisis, there is no border crisis there is nothing going wrong. they spent a long time denying it until they couldn't deny it anymore's o so of course i would support i specifically have called for. had he done so i would have voted for the funding for ukraine and all the other things because i supported ukraine funding. but we have to prioritize this american crisis that we have on our hands which is now posing a real danger six-point to seven-point to million people is ttobe conservative about that. they're in this country illegally. our dangerous criminals that is 62000 criminals in our streets today people who were criminals overseas i and our own countries before they came here we are seeing that play out every date tragically in the headlines on the news. >> followphotos on the left situ are using to scare to demonize msnbc says this trumps recent declaration migrant crime constitutes a new category as a clear signal for republicans to
11:11 pm
lean even further into the anti-immigrant hysteria and so they are. you are the scent of cumin immigrants who came to this country for a better life for what you say to the left that says gop does not want that for other people now? >> it is a ridiculous argument there criminals in every country in the world. you take six-point to million people from anywhere. some percentage are going to be criminal summer already criminals do not criminals because they are migrants or criminals because they are criminals. for example there is a gang and venezuela a well known gang and venezuela that left venice bill has been terrorized columbia, terrorists peru, terrorists of the countries read some of those people now made their way into the united states. what do we think they do once they get here? do they become stockbrokers? do they now become -- mike they run some charity organization? no they do with the date in peru with the did in columbia what they did it venezuela before that they are criminals. every single day they are playing out again not because they are migrants but because they are criminals.
11:12 pm
this is what happens when you allow seven-point to million people to march into the country invaded where they have some percentage are going to be criminals and guess what criminals do, they commit crimes that's what's happening in america now. >> i would expect the presence going to address a lot of this and continued to point the figure republicans on the hill for this at the state of the union. i want to make sure you want to touch on ukraine. you mentioned -- you've said the reality at this point we have to confront is that war ends with a negotiated settlement. what do you mean by that will rush to keep some of the territory has taken? how much pressure to the u.s. or others in the international community should put on these two countries when it comes to finding a solution? >> i'm not going to set parameters on what that looks like it's not our place to do that and it is premature to do that. this is what i do know there is no way the russian federation takes ukraine, all of ukraine, half of ukraine. that was put in school from the beginning was to carve it up into at least half the country that is not going to happen but that's not going to happen on the other side of it we have the
11:13 pm
reality is ukraine is small compared to russian terms of simon its ability to bring scale to building a force,'s conscript people. i'm being honest and in the past i have tried not to talk about this publicly i thought it undermined the leverage ukraine had but now it's the reality. neither side is going to be able to achieve victory as defined in the most idealistic terms. then the question becomes if in fact it's going to be a negotiated settlement who's going to have the leverage is it going to be potent or ukraine? i want ukraine to have the most amount of leverage possible when the time comes for those conversations to happen. they are not going to have a leverage if putin feels like he has the upper hand. he has ways to gain and can force a crate into a situation they become basically a satellite state which is what he wants he wants them to be like belarus. he wants to keep a territory whatever's left over he wants it to be a country that is forced to remain neutral in his orbit and sphere of influence. i want ukraine to have the most amount of leverage and to do that we have to help them i am
11:14 pm
in favor of helping them but we have to first take care of our country. i believe we should help ukraine but only after we help america through our border. the same way democrats are saying we won't help israel unless you help ukraine. they are holding israel as a leverage and a hostage over ukraine at the end of the day that is what help we can achieve here. i think it begins by the president doing what he should do anyway which is to reverse the executive order set of causes migrant crisis of our border. shannon: alright senator rubio thank you for your time to see you this morning. >> thank you. shannon: joining us now been carded. welcome back to "fox news sunday." let's start with israel. there is word there may be a cease-fire deal coming together something temporary that would allow for exchange of hostages. more aid into a very troubled area. do we know if there are americans among the hostages or when this may come together? apparently it is in their court
11:15 pm
are they going to be a good negotiating partner over this? >> shanna first of all it's good to be with you we do have some understanding as to the first categories of hostages that would be released. they are called the vulnerable hostages the children, the wom women, the injured. most of the americans we believe were mail soldiers and we are not sure they will be in the first category. we attribute all of the hostages really to give us an opportunity for not only the release of hostages but get humanitarian assistance into the innocent people that have been caught in this war. it gives us a chance to move forward with an avenue towards peace in the region. this is something we all need to work on. are his first approach or a writ of hamas and th in the terrace e have have a game plan for peace
11:16 pm
in the region. we need to get all of the hostages released. shannon: absolute they went to look up fox news numbers we have the new polling on how the present is handling this and people asked about his job performance on handling the conflict 65% disapprove. only 31% approve he has been increasingly publicly negative and critical of the prime minister talk but a plan moving for this a big push by the u.s. publicly and privately about a student two state solution there are a lot of folks who worry about that. obviously israeli leaders are rejecting the hears of foreign policy said the two state solution is a recipe for carnage that follows up "washington post" opinion piece saying there is every reason to fear hamas or similar entities would control a palestinian state in the near-term aftermath of this brutal war. do we, as outsiders have any way to assure israel some kind of governing body can be set up in that territory that will not be
11:17 pm
an existenial threat to them? >> us twas to be very clear abot this. there is no future for israel of the palestinians with hamas in gaza they must be taken out. that is very clear for a pathway forward for the people of gaza as well as security for israel. we have many of the leaders in the region who want to participate and are rebuilding of gaza. they want to see a future for the palestinians with the west bank and gaza but it starts with security in the region. an egg governance that recognize israel's rights and will live in peace with israel. that is absolutely essential. is that possible? yes it is possible but it's going to take a lot of hard work. we have been going to this for many, many years. the challenge right now is to find a pathway forward so that we can get to that point. that means listening to the responsible leaders of the
11:18 pm
palestinian authority needs to be revamped. my actions and deeds recognize israel and then if there is peace, if there is security in the region there will be a pathway forward for two states living side-by-side in peace. shannon: do you agree some your democrat senator colleagues and others who are out there saying they think there should be at u.s. conditions attached to a lot of this aid to israel now. about how they can use the weapons, the decisions they can make strategically when it comes to the military campaign would you condition a to israel? >> i would not. israel is our ally. israel is in a fight for it security. it needs to defend itself. we have conditions on all aid that we give to any country in regards to using appropriately and for the intended purpose. that is our current law that protects the interest that we need. israel has a very challenging battle to get hamas out of gaza.
11:19 pm
they have a tunneling system. there are extreme challenges. we want to make sure israel does us in a way that minimizes civilian loss you've got to get humanitarian assistance in. we need to reach a level we hope this a pause to allow the hostages to be released will give us the opportunity to get to the next plateau where we can look at getting authority in gaza that respects the rights of its people and respects israel security. shannon: the heavy lifting type of the bed pulling numbers for the present on this, but they're also not great on the u.s./southern border. 70% of americans think there is a major problem with the border or an emergency. writing about this in the wall street journal said people are coming to believe and they are right, it's not only a matter of the law or capacities in our culture but what is happening at the border has a huge national security component. we've got people share from places like china, yemen, iran
11:20 pm
place is a do not like the u.s. and you think the border has become a national security issue? >> i do. we need to fix our laws these laws have been broken. it's up to congress to pass the bills necessary to adjust our laws to deal the current crisis we need to give our immigration people the resources they need to protect our border to make determinations at the border they cannot do today because they don't have the resources. we had that opportunity we had a bipartisan bill to fix the border. a very strong bill the only reason we did not pass it is the former president trump wanted this to be a campaign issue rather than allo allowing us toa major bill done giving resources to the people at the border to protect our border. congress has a responsibility to act. shannon: do you concede that numbers have skyrocketed? we have hit new records each year under present bidens three
11:21 pm
years he openly repealed a lot of action president trump had taken there's no tal some talk m taking executive action. people can see there are two and in some cases three times and on people showing up at the border each year as did under the trump administration do not concede that happen? the president is required to carry out the laws congress has passed. we have certain laws that protect in regards to asylum-seekers in regards to people who have legitimate reasons to come to our border per the problem is we were not given the administration that what they need and we need to clarify the law. >> republicans say they've given you more money than you even asked for in the last couple of years in the white house ask for it's not about money it's about policy. >> it is about both. they are wrong supplemental appropriation bill would have given additional resources to the border not only to deal the immigrant issue but the illegal sentinel coming into this country. it is absolutely essential we
11:22 pm
provide this additional resources. the border people need them. i know congress does not provide the necessary resources to date pickwick senator we know there are no easy solutions we wish all of our lawmakers on the hill great success in finding some. thank you for your time senator. >> thank you shannon. shannon: a war of words high-profile crimes involving migrants and the u.s. illegally the poll numbers that show us even deeper how you feel the president -- make the job present bidens doing when it comes to immigration and other hot issues i see in former president trump take trips to the border each talks about how they think they can fix it. our sunday panels here to react,
11:23 pm
11:24 pm
11:25 pm
11:26 pm
here is what i would say to mr. trump. instead of playing policy issues instead of telling members of congress to block this legislation, join me or i will join you in telling the congress to pass this bipartisan border security bill. >> read more catch and release. our catch and release we release them into mexico if you broke the law we caught you, we deported you or did something else. shannon: i don't think there'll be kumbaya those as president biden former president trump thursday each blaming each other for the problems at the border let's talk about it with our sunday group bloomberg white house correspondent josh nguyen grove, marie harper states a person correspondent and fox news contributor former advisor to the senate judiciary committee garrett ventry and stef kight. xes reporter. welcome everyone. we will open up some arm pulling numbers on issues and how people think the president is doing. he is upside down out all kinds of important issues. but when it comes down to it and we start to look at immigration down by 35 points, josh, not
11:27 pm
good news? >> it's a big one but there is also a sharp divide between what democrats are single republicans are saying and it's bleeding into what independents are sitting there starting to share concerns. we have similar numbers just this past week and the bloomberg news poll which showed immigration is rising still is the second most important issue after the economy is gaining steam and that' that's what he e dueling visits i was with president biden at the border on thursday. i pretty sanitized view there. a brownsville us on a hot spot right now he visited an area a boat launch we didn't see or at least i didn't see one migrant for example. he is trying to say it look it can be orderly we need congress to pass these bills. former president trump of course a single look, this is chaos we need to do something. the question is really what can a president do? a lot of things president trump did were subject to litigation they were struck down in court.
11:28 pm
the ability to do stuff was disputed at best and the personal threat they don't have it. what they saw us walking with them the conversation or haven't border agents it was a contrast. coincidentally was just up the first time we have seen republicans and democrats take different approaches to how they visit the border and away or they visit the border of course former president trump chose to go to a section of the board that has been ground zero for texas governor abbott battle against the administration going where one is blocking border patrol access there. meanwhile biden went to brownsville which used to be an area where we sought migration that certainly has declined in recent years and has not been a hotspot for a long time now. what is notable is invited wentz.
11:29 pm
the president present to show s there. we see immigration is number two terrible ratings the current president has his administration decided to fill take this head on only recently they have gone on offense. there's a question whether they can make an improvement on this. shannon: it comes as her high-profile cases involving people who work here in the country illegally are alleged suspects in a number here of the dueling headlines "new york post" says this the migrant surge brings killers and criminal gangs victimizing innocence. "new york times" migrant crime wave supported by data despite profile cases hard to quantify the crimes because the police are not allowed to ask about a suspect immigration status. they're taking heat over
11:30 pm
demonizing people are or highlighting the cases. >> it's demonizing because they are migrants. they are crimes here in the big issue. you take a step back you're talking about president trump as a massive lead over joe biden and continues to be number one. the reason why voters can see what happened over the last four years president by his first 100 days executive orders halted construction it did nothing to try to find a solution. we are back at catch and release it. it is no reason that's the big reason voters are blaming a bite and he's underwater by 30 points or they do not like congress did not take action. but joe biden is not running against congress is running against president trump he is losing the issue on immigration and border security. >> a number of blue state mayors and governors and the folks out there publicly speaking there's congress democrats saying you got to fix this is a problem.
11:31 pm
and we have from the white house they think it's time to be done with sanctuary city seas or their policies on foxnews.com weight welcome support and cooperation. that posed a risk to national security or public safety. they went to see if there's a public safety threat we do willl people to share the information with ice. but even if they do they want hold people to licensure up and get them they are still very much areas are putting century city's in the states. >> what is interesting in our polling is that more people blame congress for the lack of action on securing the southern border then blame joe biden. that's part of the message the campaign wants to make joe biden has supported the toughest immigration bill any democrat in history has ever supported taking on the far left a part of the parties joe biden is not on the far left on any issue certainly not at immigration. the reason congress won't pass it is donald trump he has said it publicly, republicans are set
11:32 pm
at their going to hammer that home every chance they get you heard president biden talking about that this week. this polling in many way should be a wake-up call for the biden team the need to sharpen their message they need to get a more aggressive campaign going. but there are some bright spots and dependence overwhelming going for joe biden were joe biden support is a little weaker but is not translating into support for donald trump. he really has a hard ceiling on his support even on issues like immigration even on issues like crime the proof is in the putting the best indicator of how voters will vote is how they are voting and in every election since 2018 democrats have been over performing. i think these poles and issues like immigration are wake-up calls to get the biden team really aggressively out there sharpening their message but there are some silver linings the democrats are picking up on. >> will see if they are taking notes on what you're putting down this morning a lot more to dig into with these polls with our panel a little later in the show. up next super tuesday just two
11:33 pm
days away. millions of americans had to cast their ballot we have campaign surrogates here to make the final pictures before more than a dozen states head to the

morning giving a clear picture to us about how voters view the candidate would but then had to head we are joined by a cell gut from the biden cam campaign chris coons. and byron donalds but we began with senator coons welcome back to fox to send a pair. >> think it's great to be on with you. lesser of tbless our people's hd choice for president you're voting right now, donald trump has a two-point advantage in our latest poll we ask do you view this candid and a favorable or unfavorable weight ba white bacc .20 joe biden was plus four in the favorable, he is negative 18-point to. how do you make the pitch for him at this point? >> well, shannon i was just in michigan campaigning for our president this weekend and i saw a remarkable positive energy on the ground there because of the real difference that president biden's leadership is made in the lives of michiganders i was up in bay city where there have been real and concrete
11:37 pm
announcements of high wage quality jobs in manufacturing and semi conductors, investments in infrastructure, double digit rates for the members of the uaw. and so on the follow-up to last tuesday's primary, what i saw and the detroit area in the center of michigan was positivity because of the leadership president biden has shown in reducing prescription drug prices, and standing up for our veterans and investing in infrastructure and helping create nearly 50 million new jobs to the private sector while he has been president. only one president had in modern times has had as bad a job or record as herbert hoover and that is donald trump. note president is handled as low unemployment and great a record on investment through bipartisan bills a is joe biden. shannon: it is fair to point out there was a pandemic during the trump administration there's a number of fact checking organizations not us all over the place it said this president did not create 50 million jobs those are people coming back to work at the end of the pandemic
11:38 pm
so you can continue to debate they had more than 100,000 people take the time to show up in michigan and boat uncommitted they clearly have different policy differences with the president. might look down the number of issues in her ne our new foxnews pulling he is under water by 20 or 30 plus point in a number of things the economy, china, inflation, israel and hamas, immigration. there is a solid majority of americans out there who feel like he is not getting the job done on issues they say they care most about. >> a shannon, two things about that. first what matters is how people vote we consistently have democrats over performed not just in the special election that just happened in long island, and that midterms in 2022 by election after election and former president trump is underperforming and michigan nearly 30% of voters came out and supported nikki haley. whether it is in south carolina, new hampshire or this coming super tuesday we have 20% or more of voters think they will
11:39 pm
never vote for former president trump partly because of his 91 criminal counts he is facing. partly because of the chaos he created as a former president. partly because of his ongoing statements. just last night at a rally he said president obama does not do to her president putin he keeps saying things in public that makes folks question his mental fitness as well as moral character. >> yet when you ask people head-to-head on these issues they care about who is better equipped to handle things, they are giving president trump the nod issues like immigration, years ago it was a 16-point advantage for him that has more than doubled to 35 points and advantage people think what is their number one or number two issue and all of the polls they think they want president trump back that he had better control of things like the border. >> shannon, more than two thirds of americans strongly supported the bipartisan deal that we hammered out in the senate. it was a deal that would have invested $20 billion in combating fentanyl and hiring
11:40 pm
new border patrol, and funding in the new deportation flights and securing our board as you saw on the tube or to visit this week, president biden asked former president trump to work with him, to stop seeking an election issue but instead deliver a solution for the american people. former president trump called his allies in the senate defeated that bipartisan bill because heat once an issue not a solution. think when the american people see such a sharp contrast on an issue that matters to all of us were president biden is showing a bipartisan leadership willing to take the tough stances and invest in making a safer and stronger and they see former president trump simply trying to have an issue for election on an issue frankly a bill that was endorsed by the border patrol, by the wall street journal, by the chamber of commerce, think the american people see who is interested in and capable of leading and that is president biden. shannon: great skepticism after washing skyrocketing numbers of
11:41 pm
the last three years as a president weighs possible take executive action does not think that deal is dead on the hill we wish you luck in getting something done. thank you. turning is now florida congressman byron donalds. good to have your back. let's start here you you heard what the center said 30 or 40% of primary voters are showing up to vote in the gop primary for nikki haley. not all those are closed will be party crossover but why can't president trump with this thing away? how come 30 or 40% of those voting for someone other than him? >> first of all's good to be back with you. let me first say this, some of these early states they allowed independence and democrat voters to vote on the republican side when it comes to picking a nominee in the states. even with that influx was some independence and democrats donald trump overwhelmingly one every single state. now we move to super tuesday let me just tell you it is basically over already it is going to be over tuesday night was super
11:42 pm
tuesday belts come in there is no path to victory for nikki haley. on our side of the isle we believe in choices, we want options democrats are the one who kicked robert f kennedy out of their primary they basically stop dean phillips from being able to mount a campaign against joe biden. nikki haley had an opportunity to run like everybody else would. they all lost donald trump as a nominator going to move forward to november. shannon: he is essentially many people think running the part you've heard a number of accusations that he is the one that told you guys to kill a border deal. he is not the only one saying that though. that accusation is coming from both sides of the aisle take a listen to both sides. simply has a said to the maggots on the house side known to do it too. don't do anything. keep it a political issue. >> congress should have gone in the room, strength and didn't pass something out.
