riley gaines what you think about what coach had to say and what would you let congress to do about it? >> let me just say i pretty much entirely agree with coach. one of the greatest college coaches in history. bottom line here is an il is ultimately bad for college sports. of course is great for individuals but it's not great for retaining the competitive drive of collegiate sports. since ncaa created these rules that essentially allow student athletes to sell their name and their image and their likeness we have been inundated with stories of greed and betrayal and manipulation. nick sabin himself was on the first want to say that out loud. said what really the rest of the country already knew back in 2022. his it an il deals are the soure of texas a&m recent at the time success not to mention the lack of transparency these athletes are given before making these deals. it is always dangerous putting hundreds of thousands of dollars if not millions of dollars into

the hands of 17 and 18 -year-olds. i surely did not how to file a tax return at that age i believe there should be some sort of financial advising from these universities that should be a requirement. with that all being said i certainly believe in free enterprise i believe in capitalism i don't think it's right for others to profit large margin off of these athletes names will these athletes see none of it. we have to find a balance that maintains competition for it maintains a fairness and of course protecting these athletes. i believe the 10 aa rushed it in next big problem. arthel: which let congress to do about it? >> congress needs to act and honestly that's what the ncaa wants but i think the ncaa would love to see congress or senator turberville or senator cruz like we saw in that clip, fixing the problem passing it along to someone else to clean up their mess which seems to be a pattern with the ncaa. >> so again, excuse me you are saying coaches sabin you agree

with him and il name image and likeness has already had a negative impact on college athletes. it seems like you agree with that. there is have inequities involved in the of this directly affects nonrevenue sports like yours is, swimming plus volleyball and golf. so revenue sport so everyone gets a piece of the pie as long as it is done equally and the athletes are also advised as to how to handle those large sums of money? >> i think there are 1000 different ways you have to find the right recipe but i believe that is a solution that could work that could again and maintain fairness it could maintain competitive drive at the university think or protect the integrity of sport and protect the athletes must and poorly like nick sabin said going to college it's about ensuring their best life your best life in your best education

and sports is a part of that but we are students before we were athletes. like i said i was in this position myself and the value of up from playing my sport of course is insurmountable but the value i got for my education that is what we were there to do so i agree with coach. arthel: i want to get a quick answer from you on this one because i understand you're also suing ncaa over transgender policies what is your concern there? >> my concern there is what i saw play out in my own real life. we, as women were put on the back burner at the hands of the ncaa. we were actively and openly discriminated against on the base of our when they allowed a man onto our podium taking our trophies allowed him to undress fully naked, fully intact in our locker rooms. stripping us of our privacy and the ability to give our consent to seek a -- to see a naked man will be exploit ourselves every
