companies won't accept real estate as collateral. they want liquidity or cash. as you said, steve, experts say trump does not have in that amount. and if he can't come up with the money on march 25th, new york attorney general letitia james could start seizing and selling trump's assets. that is unless an appeals court grants his request to pause the judgment. a trump campaign spokesperson telling the "new york times" this is a motion to stay the unjust, unconstitutional, unamerican judgment from new york judge arthur engoron in a political witch-hunt brought by a corrupted attorney general. a bond of this size would be an abuse of the law, contradict bedrock principles of our republic and fundamentally undermine the rule of law in new york. some of trump's properties in new york include trump tower, trump park avenue, 40 wall street. his golf clubs in west chester and the hudson valley. james could potentially go after these properties. to do so, she would need to fill

out application in court. separately trump and his co-defendants in the georgia election interference case submitted a certificate of review after a judge ruled fulton county district attorney fani willis can stay on if special prosecutor nathan wade stepped down, which, of course, he did on friday. this certificate of review would allow them to appeal to the judge's order to a higher state court. guys, back to you. >> brian: going to be fascinating. thanks so much. fascinating to see how this is done because in high finance like this it's almost over all of our heads. this is what they say. they said ongoing diligent efforts bond judgment in the full amount is practically an impossibility. you need essentially $1 billion in cash to get $450 million bond. they went to 30 brokers overall. four separate brokers that usually do this much. they said it's not going to make sense. to me logically, this 500 page court filing by his lawyers say knock this down. i think a lot of experts think

civil fraud judgment bond in new york calling it a practical impossibility. his lawyers arguing quote these diligent efforts have included approaching about 30 insurance companies through four separate brokers. a bond requirement of this enormous magnitude effectively requiring cash reserves approaching a billion bucks is unprecedented for a private company. here to discuss is the co-host of the bottom line with dagan and duffy on fox business and former wink congressman sean duffy. sean, good morning to you. >> sean: steve, good to see you good morning. >> steve: it's good to have you. cover in the "new york post" today high seas unless he comes up with half a billion dollars in six days. the a.g. could start seizing properties. here is what has a lot of people upset, sean. that is the fact that he has not run out his legal string yet. self-still appealing it. essentially she is asking him to pay up before this runs its

course through court. and if he sells stuff at fire sale prices, that just doesn't seem like he has had his due process. >> so, yes, we have post cash and no one has half a billion dollars underneath their mat tres, steve. maybe you do. i don't. donald trump doesn't. or he has to sell at fire sell or mortgage properties to get cash. he has to post a bond. well, the suretiy companies, the insurance companies want liquid assets they want cash and stocks. they don't want real estate and donald trump doesn't have cash he has real estate. that's the problem here. another component as well. you have to imagine if you are a new york company regulated by new york -- the new york government, you're concerned about letitia james coming after you if you issue this bond for trump and concerned about the regulators coming after you. people don't want to touch donald trump even though he has a lot of assets. they want to kick him to the curb. and the problem here is, he needs this bond or he needs to post the cash to secure his

right to appeal. so if he doesn't have the money, he can't appeal. there's a lot of issues on appeal. the size of the judgment, which is massive. also the way the interest was calculated on this judgment is unique to say best. so there's a lot of issues for appeal. and, again, they have trump backed into a corner here. >> steve: let's see what happens. in the meantime we know what the biden-harris campaign is doing. they just put out a brand new digital ad. and that comment that the former president made about a bloodbath over the weekend is now very prominent. i think it's featured twice in it. it also features a bunch of former president trump's comments through the years. apparently they are trying to say hey, look at this stuff this guy has said in the past. we're not going to run a clip, sean. just. >> it's -- no, it's a fascinating clip, steve. because, again, they expect the american people to believe their lies. joe biden's lies and the media

lies about the bloodbath comments. most people understand that the media and democrats lie about donald trump. it doesn't carry the same punch that it used to. and so i look at this and what a weird campaign strategy. you have donald trump saying we don't want to allow chinese auto imports into the u.s. it will be a bloodbath if that happens. what kind of president says i'm going to attack the former president for trying to protect the american auto worker? and if you look at the heat map of the contested states. michigan someone of them. there is a lot of auto workers in michigan that want to be protected from cheap chinese autos that were made in mexico. so, again, good for donald trump for standing up for the american auto worker and shame on democrats for lying, again, about president trump and the media going along with the lie. >> steve: it's just a campaign season. i can imagine we are going to see lots more ads between now and the first tuesday in november. thank you very much. check out his show bottom line

location. and i think that, unfortunately, i think the police investigation is thinking that he is deceased and until they find his body they will not know the cause or manner of death. >> lawrence: mark, so you had the officer on the scene that interacts with him. do we know anything from the officer of what -- i mean, obviously we have the body camera footage but if he would have thought that he was intoxicated, he probably would have wheeled him in, right? >> well, you know, there is a balancing act with the uniformed officer. is he making contact with somebody, obviously something actually alerts him. and they -- the statement is usually are you okay? are you going to be able to get -- ironically, you know, people that are sometimes quite drunk sober up very quickly when a uniformed officer is talking to him. he could have presented something that the officer made
