some ways it is official kickoff of this campaign being with all of these incredible job creators people that have many people that started with nothing. they've lived american dream and given back to their communities and created you know countless jobs around our country. and they're concerned about the future under joe biden, coordination between thes trump campaign and the rnc giving people confidence that when they're investing that it is going to help drive towards victory in the fall and it was in that sense also inspirational because i think there's a real unification of the party around what needs to happen in november. rachel: you know it is really interesting you know, we're talking about use some of this money for his legal -- this is all part of this election interference thing that donald trump has to, you know, joe biden raises money all his money gets to go to campaign and all his mind space whatever is left of it goes to running a campaign. donald trump you know, has to go to court cases all over because

they're raging law fair against him and trying to take all of his money and use some of this to fund, you know, the legal fees. all of this is part of that -- election interference and it is what you know, you look at that guy right there on thes screen, he's fighting with one hand tied behind his back because he's got is fighting him as well also i want to mention to you i know people who were at that event last night they said that donald trump gave an amazing speech. also that the vivek ramaswamy gave a, you know, an incredibly impressive talk on the founding fathers and whatnot so this i thought it was kind of interesting. pete:s we gave a similar talk vivek at a fox nation for the miseducation of america and i thought that guy is -- before he declared or anything like that. that guy wants to run now at the fund raiser on behalf of druch one of the big issues that, while certainly folks in that room at that fund raiser would be aware of but everyone at

shoam aware of. is the impact of inflation and how your life change when is everything cost more that will be huge -- i mean i know immigration is the biggest issue guys. but it feels like inflation is just that pesky issue that pokes at everybody of every background where they say my dollar doesn't go as far and it wasn't like that under troches but it is under biden. >> this is tied to inflation in one sector of the economy in housing. so one particular sector they did a survey redfin did in order to pay your rent or mortgage when everything is in more expense i have it gets more difficult to pay that. 35.are saying paying no or fewer vacation where's your flexibility and your budget but skepping meals at 22% -- that is additional a lot of multiple of them are taking an

additional job or additional shifts borrowing money you don't think you're going pay back dipping back into retirement savings those are in back of your mind when you go to vote for someone who can change those conditions i want to not have to be working into my 60s and 70s who created an economy that did that? and survey like that remind us how powerful. >> pawn shops they're seeing people coming in and seeing also -- people from higher income levels coming in to pawnshops to sell their stuff. and also the resale market for luxury goods is also -- sky high, has not been higher so not just poor people are suffering but ones skipping meals. pete: but sold my belongings. will: i think you said inflation is one of the thing under the surface or -- that particularly housing is a thing that -- so you have high interest rates.

you've got high inflation so what you have is high cost of houses that bocks a lot of people out of the housing market. you can sell your home theoretically but then you have to buy a new place to live. pete: so people are not selling your home. will: and you will at the higher interest rates and get people coming due on their mortgage or worse construction market loans development loans, the longer this goes on with high interest rates try to tame inflation more we run a risk of recession of these potential construction and real estate development going. but there's another angle that's gen-z young people they can't get this this is all of the promise people who are in. the young generation and look, for better or worse buying home has been the nest egg people have used as a build up they can't get into that life of building financial, you know, back -- pete: no one is moving out of the starter homes too i don't to update or change so no inventory

for people coming in and everything is all that more expensive so there's a cascading event that will happen. >> and it plays into the election young people, obviously, a lot of them on the radical side really upset about what's happening in gaza and -- israel, on the left. but also i think a lot of them are just saying i can't launch. i can't -- i can't move forward and i know where my parents were at that stage of their life and i'm not even close to that that is a depressing thought again it is not that long ago people record the record-breaking trump economy. pete: there's the final four is going on right now and there's been a ton of attention on women's bracket which is different this year in large part because of caitlin clark out of iowa next level athlete iowa hawkeyes will be playing against south carolina in the finals and the coach dawn staley was at a press conference yesterday.

hostages have been taken too so not just something where they were raping and murdering but also taking hostages, some from that music festival a lot from villages down in south israel. will: 123 hostages have been released, 134 still in captivity now there are 36 confirmed dead hostages i don't think their bodies have been returned to israel. so there is some question mark as well about how many of the remaining are alive in gaza. pete: numbers include some americans as well and then you get to the actual fighting itself unleashed over the last six months. this israel is saying they've killed over 13,000 hamas fighters i would be careful about this number. this is reported by the palestinians international organizations who have wanted to intentionally inflate those numbers to try to make israel look like the bad guys when you actually look at the fighting by the way will, israel has lost over 600idf troops in that fight

as well you talk to people who have seen urban combat no country has done more to try to restrain civilian casualties than what israeli military has done in offensive it's been effective ferocious and tried to avoid casualties at every turn while hamas puts its fighters in hospital. will: war is ugly and still there are palestinian civilians who have been killed. one of the notable incidents recently was charity work ergs at the world central kitchen killed in israeli air strike there's investigation i believe two -- idf commanders have been dismissed from service, and there's continuing to look into what happened when i believe it was seven individuals of the world central kitchen were killed. pete: tragic israel has said so but you contrast outrage with biden administration for this and remember aid worker that was killed outside abby gait in kabul, afghanistan and denied what happened in that particular
