scheffler. >> lawrence: deadly car crash outside the gates of the golf club. >> ainsley: what happened? todd piro joins us with the latest. is this a misunderstanding? appears to be a misunderstand i ing. >> scottie scheffler in hand handcuffs. espn reporter jeff darlington said it happened after a m misunderstanding with traffic slow led to his attempt to drive past a police officer into the golf club. the police officer began to scream at scottie scheffler to get out of the car when scottie scheffler exited the vehicle. the officer shoved scottie scheffler and put hymn in handcuffs. p.g.a. championship delayed because of a serious accident near the golf course.

one person killed in that accident, involving a shuttle bus outside the golf club, allegedly hit a pedestrian and scottie scheffler incident not related to that. round two of the p.g.a. championship was delayed, expe expected to resume 8:35 eastern time. scottie scheffler world number one, everybody views him as the poster child, clean, no issues. so you hear a headline like this, your eyes open up and say, scottie scheffler, we having tiger woods repeat. does not appear that now. >> brian: he drove around the barricade. i have to drive around, i have a golf tournament. >> todd: it is shelf shelves, we know who he is, he is pretty unassuming guy, maybe the police officer did not recognize him. if it was tiger, tiger is one of

show cohen wanted to talk to the body guard about harassing phone calls that turned out to be from a 14-year-old. kerri, we have everyone believes that was the big moment. for you, is it a turning point in the case? >> big moment for sure, in "like my cousin vinnyconsistent culmination of the morning, you had todd blanche saying in this passionate way, you lied, didn't you and michael cohen shifting uncomfortably in his seat. reason this matters, this is one pain point cohen is making against donald trump and i picked up on four points all together for this case. this is what he claims, he told trump he fronted the money for stormy daniels. this phone call, point number two, he called trump via the

body guard to say it had been taken care of and was resolved and a couple meetings in 2017, cohen claims he and allan weselberg had a meeting in front of trump. it turns out the -- wanted to sick the secret service on them, it was a big deal. the reason it was a big deal and this came out yesterday, cohen never testified about this phone call before. he testified before a grand jury last year, you would think if this was a huge point it would have come up sometime before in all of the testimony he's given and it hasn't. that went to rerosity if this happened at all. >> lawrence: sloppy work from the prosecution. tell us about the nda, and the testimony there.

other questions that could undercut the case in some way. costello made some compelling points on tv and before congress and before a grand jury last year, he testified cohen told him multiple times he had nothing on donald trump and that don had nothing to do with the stormy daniels payment, which by the way, came out yesterday because as we know and reiterated, michael cohen sent multiple statements to reporters insisting trump had nothing to do with the stormy daniels payment. now we have to believe that was a lie. one more point on that issue he was a serial secret recorder of all phone conversations. almost 100 phone recordings from reporters to donald trump. he's something else. >> lawrence: i wonder, with two attorneys on there, to show for your star witness to be a slime ball lawyer, how that is going

warnings, as well. >> brian: 10 minutes before top of the hour. fox news alert, two jordanian nationals in ice custody after trying to break to a marine base quantico. >> most secure bases, the fbi academy, ncis and defense agencies. two jordanian nationals in a box truck attempted to breech quah antico. the two men detained and turned over to ice. no weapons were found in the vehicle. the men told officers they were working for amazon subcontractor, but amazon has not confirmed that to fox. both were illegally present in the u.s. and ice say entering the united states is violation
