if donald trump is indeed able to shave off double digit percentages of those voting blocks and he is pulling that well right now donald trump could very well when with these constituencies that have historically been overwhelmingly for democrats. in a good position keeps up until november. jon: us look at some polls with solid blue states and a red states it. you win presidential elections in the swing states. and the swing state numbers look like this. if our team can get them up on the screen. here we go three, two, one, there we go. the battleground states arizona, trump is up 4% georgia 4%. michigan oh 1%. wisconsin barely a tenth of a percent, not a big deal but in pennsylvania advantage trump

2.3%. some of these could be a margin of error kind of things but when the advantages going to one candidate every single time you have to wonder. >> that is right. obviously like you mentioned is within the margin of error a lot could happen between now and november but i would certainly rather be donald trump right now the joe biden with those poll numbers. the problem is the momentum is moving away from joe biden the dynamics of today crystallize before the fall that is if people have made up their minds the economy is not working for them if they made up their minds the chaos at the border is just overwhelming there won't be very much to biden can do in the next five months to change people's minds. the problem for joe biden is he is running out of time to change the faultlines of the race that are setting it right now people are starting to pay attention maybe they weren't back in january or last fall when the republican primary was underway.
