publicized, promoted so we have a great crowd but also on pbs, 10 million viewers. that became the best thing i could do to honor the sacrifices made for our country trying to bring the country together with this national memorial day concert come back every year since. i cohosted with joke this year. tomorrow night we will have tremendous actors, singers of the national symphony orchestra, a 90 minute show and it pays tribute to although sacrifices mentioned in your open. >> i'm going to bring my band and entertain and then form the foundation and find a way to give back especially to those who survived and have to adapt

to a new way of life because of injuries in battle. you highlight a couple of them today, u.s. army major retired now, they dedicated his home in 2020, what has that meant to h him? >> jeremy and his wife both served in the army, incredible people. incredible family. jeremy was shot in a blue and green type of incident and afghanistan, shot by an afghan soldier who we thought was a good guy and his major general green was killed right next to jeremy, a tough day for him, obviously was disabled by the injury at all about and my foundation was privileged to

work with him to build smart technology. mortgage free home and a lot of organizations out there are doing this because there is a lot of need and we gave away our 90 -- 92nd home a couple of weeks ago so i've been doing this for quite a while. >> you happen. he was paralyzed in his home vapid and you say his personality is infectious, he's always optimistic. the u.s. navy officer joshua who's home they dedicated last week. how special was this x. >> every time we have one of our wounded walk to the door and take possession in the house it is a big deal. there are so many great partners who team up with the foundation if you go to our website and you look at our rise program was eat
