section 212 f of the immigration and nationality act. it blocks certain migrants from coming into the country if they're deemed, quote: detrimental to the interest of the united states. unquote. former president trump used section 212 f to impose the muslim ban, which president biden reversed in his first week in was o. needless to say the move marks a significant shift for the president. is he facing a lot of bipartisan pressure though to take stronger action on the southern border which many voters sees a one of his weakest spots. a fox news poll last month shows 64% of registered voters disapprove of his handling of border security. the white house has tried to pin the blame on republicans for tanking the senate's border bill earlier this year saying they have been looking at other options. regardless, the president's critics see this expected order as nothing more than a political stunt. it will likely be met with legal challenges. president biden will reportedly sign this order today alongside democratic mayors from southern border cities. again, we haven't seen confirmation from the white house nor is this listed on his

unchartered territory last week. for the first time in american history a former president convicted felon seeking the office of the presidency. this isn't the same president who got elected in 2016. he's worse. that's different than friday when he kind of danced around it, never alluded to that but, as we said on the couch and have been projecting for a while, if he were convicted,and he was they are going to hang convicted felon around him. every time they talk about him it's going to be like a brand name. >> ainsley: numbers don't lie and verdict has he energized the trump supporters. he raised $141 million in may. more than a third online donations. 24 hours after the verdict. that's $53 million. and listen to this, 25% of the donors were first time contributors. >> steve: that's amazing. >> brian: he won last month. just won may and that was the big liability. no one argued you are not going to raise as much as the democrats. i think that's an old story now. what is risky. i got this in the "new york

times." i didn't realize this. there are so many convicted felons out there maybe they had an addiction or feel they were unjustly charged or had an indiscretion in younger life. not being able to vote even though vote in florida. not travel in places. scarlet letter they live with. number is like 70 million. you start ripping the president. you are a convicted felon. are you -- this is a question now. are you alienating a lot of the those people who say this case doesn't make any sense and this happened to me whether it was legitimate or not. whether you were found innocent or not. whether you had an indiscretion. now you are in your 60's and 70s still got this hanging over your head. your kids and family are embarrassed by it. >> lawrence: it's not just a question. these were supposed to be the democrats' people. they said for years they were advocates for the felons to be able to voted. now because of donald trump we don't want felons to vote. they said they don't want nonviolent offenders to be behind bars. now, because of donald trump, he should be jailed.

>> steve: what? >> ainsley: wounded suspect then continues his assault. even throwing something through the bike shop window. police say when they showed up. the man fought back. even biting an officer's hand. both the suspect and the injured officer were taken to a nearby hospital. a 74-year-old woman declared dead at a nebraska nursing home was found alive. two hours later by funeral home employees, police are now looking into very unusual case. >> we have started our investigation into what happened. at this point we have not been able to find any criminal intent by the nursing home the investigation is ongoing. >> the woman is in hospice. she has been seen by a doctor who signed her death certificate on monday. and those are your headlines. >> lawrence: i don't want to make light of this what if the funeral home had already picked her up? i mean, can you imagine having to deal with that? i wouldn't want to do the

cases. joining us now former acting dhs secretary chad wolf. obviously is he doing this because of the election, chad. but will this plan actually stop the surge at the border? >> yeah, i don't believe it will for a couple of different points. but, first, look, they have been telling the american people that there's no crisis along that border now for three years. and then they have tried to convince the american people that they can't take executive action and we have had somewhere between 10 and probably 13 million illegal aliens cross that border. and now five months out from an election, now they are serious about border security. i don't buy it, i don't think the american people buy it. but there are holes in this plan. this plan does nothing to stop the asylum abuse. does nothing to stop the parole abuse that this administration has done. nothing to stop catch and release. is i see a lot of different holes here. i don't think it's going to work. it's too little too late. >> brian: just so you know. we don't know exactly. i will give you some of the things they are leaking out that

they are going to allow 2500 people in between ports of entry with the border reopening only once the number declines to 1500. this is going according to people familiar with what is he going to roll out. if you are unaccompanied minor you get in regardless. i understand humanitarian perspective but if that is in fact the fact, people send more and more kids through who eventually send for their parents if they don't get lost. so your thoughts about those numbers? >> sure, 2500 again that's just the border patrol illegal apprehensions and, again, that is authorizing a level of illegal crossings that we have never seen before. and i think it's important to remember that obama's dhs secretary said 1,000 a day you are at crisis level. so this is, you know, 2.5 times that that the biden administration is talking about. but, it also doesn't prevent the biden administration from continuing to push these individuals to ports of entry. and so you really have to look at all the different ways cbp 1

app. authority they are doing allow individuals to come through ports of entry once that 2500 number has been reached. because what we have seen over the last several months and almost the last year is the numbers at ports of entry have skyrocketed through this illegal use of parole. >> lawrence: so, chad, what's going to happen to all those people once they reach that cap. eagle pass area and those illegal migrants are stand telling border? are they going to stop? what's to stop them from still just charging the border. it's not like they haven't done it before. >> well, a couple different things. i think bhated cartels and the smugglers know they will get pretty smart about this. if they continue to come over illegally in theory the biden administration has the ability to just return them back to mexico quickly. but you probably won't see that. instead they will start pushing them through ports of entry where the biden administration has said come on in. we'll give you parole. you can sign up on the cbp 1 app. they are just moving them from the desert or the river between ports of entry to ports of entry. and they are even flying them in

elm. this scraping their knees, they are not developing critical skills that they are going to need as they transition into teenagers and into adulthood. coping skills. social skills and communication skills. >> ainsley: you say when kids go. >> i ask kids private practice parents call me in september they want to get their son or daughter back into seeing me i can't tell you how many kids i asked what was the best part of sleep away camp. they say not having their phone. the reason for that they have experienced something that they inherently crave which is the social/emotional dialogue and communication and the memories they are making around the camp fire and in their bunks. >> ainsley: what is your advice to us as we are going into summer and our kids are going to be out of school? >> what parents need to do is replace the screen time with green time. as much as possible, get your kids involved. whether it's going to sleep away camp, day camp, sports, activities, play dates, going to the town pool. get the kids out of these bedrooms and out of the houses

and outside. teenagers, get that -- make sure your kid gets a summer job. don't let them sleep in to 1:00 every day. they need to be productive members of society and they need to be constantly interacting with fellow humans. >> ainsley: some moms are saying when they are going to give their kids when they reach the age of having a phone flip phone or apple watch because you can't download apps on the watch or land line. these are some of the options i'm hearing. one in nine kids diagnosed with adhd ages 3 to 17. what's your advice when it comes to this when a doctor says yeah or my mom says i'm seeing symptoms of adhd. >> i talk about this in my previous book disconnected. there is an acquired. acquired adhd about 70% of kids diagnosed at older ache don't have adhd they just have the symptoms of it. adhd what a lot of people do not realize is a neurologic condition you are born with you don't just get later on.
