this construction workers during you're trial. that would not have happened 80 years ago that a republican would get that response. when you went to new jersey were you surprised by the size of that crowd. >> 107,000 people, biggest crowd they've ever had a new jersey nobody has never seen anything like it. but black people, african-american people are screaming at us, because they had the best economy, best job numbers and best everything during my presidency. also i've funded the historically black colleges and universities. funded them. they were coming to washington every year, every single year they were coming to washington looking for money, one of them and i became friendly with a lot of them, they run the black colleges and universities and i would ask and i took care of them and i gave them long-term

financing and much more money than they wanted. and they really like me, i'll tell you, they really like me, no democrat. when you look at the things that i did, criminal justice reform, i got criminal justice reform, obama cannot get it, nobody could get it. i've done more for black people than anybody since abraham lincoln. and they understand it, they really do and they have the best job numbers they've ever had. they have the best job numbers they have ever had during the trump administration. >> let me ask a couple things. >> for hispanics also, i think about 50 percent. to somebody watching josé what's a about 50 percent, republicans are down 89 percent, i think i'll maybe went hispanic population. we had a pull out today that african-american, 32 percent for trump, 32 percent romney got like 4 percent. i think i'm a 32 percent. and i think it's gonna grow, look, biden's stiff, you talk to

it down demographically, democratic party has there coalition and republicans have their coalition. but we see a phenomenon in almost every poll in the throes asking the president about. and that is african-americans, hispanic americans, young people, they seem to be abandoning the democratic party in droves. sometimes by the time of election a return home. will it take to hold this into developing broader coalition for the republican party, i don't think joe biden can run on the question of our you better off than you were four years ago. >> that is the one question that he's praying that he never hears. are you better off under four years for joe biden, the answer is simple, the new coalition of trump supporters is not based on demographics, it's based on working-class people coming together because for the first time in their lifetime, they have a president that fights for

him? >> i think the fact of the debate is taking place in june before the nominated convection of either party. is the best sign that that is the final hoop that they're making the old man jump through before actually getting the nomination. so if he exceeds expectations shell hang on for a thread for that nomination. but falls short of that expectation, make sure and get ready to be trotting out somebody else for that nomination -- >> sean: so what are the expectations gonna be? if i had to guess we might see a little more energetic joe, i'll bet that half of your income on it or half you're net worth on it. i'm teasing. with all due respect. i would imagine a lot of red bulls that joe will be drinking in the lead above that debater whatever he was using or drinking, a lot of caffeine the night of the state of the union. i don't think he's gonna come in

flat. i think he's gonna be well versed and i think he's gonna be wide-awake because i think he's gonna drink a lot of caffeine. >> it's his last shot and the reality is caffeine or red bull you're being kind with that. donald trump was right, they need to do a drug test before that debate. regardless of biting or somebody else, we as a party need to do a step up and actually define what we stand for. i think that's one of the risks of the path they are leading us down. we're criticizing joe biden and his agenda often plenty of that others in the party had done that as well. it's not can be good enough to win the election, decisively as we need to. i'm worried we might be on track to have another red wave like we had in 2022, the one that actually never came. i think the reality is is that we -- regardless of who they put up to find what it means to be conservative today and what it means to be an american, revive the shared national values that were supposed to be celebrating on d-day, not going the

direction of political partisanship and toxicity that hillary clinton takes it. but in our own direction. stand for what it means to be a citizen of this country and stand for actual alternative vision that left-wing poison. if i'm being honest i don't like we've done a good enough job of that yet and that is what our work is cut out for this year. >> sean: daily mail tip survey, a legitimate poll reveals 70 percent believe that both candidates should undergo pharmaceutical screening before they soften these debates. and only 18 percent thing drug tests are unnecessary. high performing athletes to get drug tested all the time. why would you not do it for a president especially considering that what witnessed at the state of the union. i don't know if it was caffeine, i'm not gonna venture a guess, i'm not a doctor. but it was not the guy that we see every day, was it? >> the realities that the

american people deserve transparency or talking about putting someone in the office of the president of the united states representing this country when we are skating on thin ice pick they deserve to make that choice in an informed way. i do think the debate is the final step for biden, ap underperforms that's the final straw. you have to be prepared for a different puppet. >> sean: let me ask you. are you arguing that may be trump should not go into the kill in that debate? in other words that trump should lay back a little bit and make his points and let biden talk and maybe not fight as hard as he normally would strategically would that be a smart thing to do? i think it's better if he runs against biden. >> look, i think the smart thing to do is to actually make this a versus b., four years subtopic in four years of biden, compare the border and economy and global stability and us security

risks. on every measure trump wins. it's a rare opportunity. it's a once in a century opportunity for voters. last time we had this was a century ago were you could compare the records of both people running. that's what donald trump needs to focus on and will stay focused on. the reality is that they'll try to lure him in every possible direction, that's what the prosecutions are about. at the end of the day focus on the record and the vision for this country and that makes joe biden and his old age irrelevant as americans flocked towards trump and that is the right answer for this country. >> sean: curiosities getting the better of me. are those boxing gloves over your right shoulder. is that what i'm looking at? >> you have to be ready to fight and sometimes you have to fight with gloves off. as i say you have to be strong enough to protect congress. keep it kind but fight when necessary. >> sean: i know because i train every day and hit every day and hit hard. i happened to notice.
