this is dlisht. it's the failure to enforce the rule of law and why? because under this woke orthodoxy, all of it -- the people who perpetrating these crimes are seen as victim or at least they are victims of social justice inequities and, therefore, they are exempted and the legislature won't even let a referendum on the ballot that would change the laws. and then it's not just criminal laws, laura, we have about a quarter of the people who are not paying their power bill and yet it's against the law to shut off your power bill if you don't pay for it. we have a huge black market economy where it's considered illiberal to impose sales or income tax on street vendors on swap meets. the whole state is in a doom loop. we lost 10 million people the last 25 years who were entrepreneurial tax paying class and they are gone. we have imported about 10 million peopled from the poorest parts of the world. many of them illegally.
