the second named storm of the season is now a powerful category four storm in several caribbean islands on high alert. following it live in the fox weather center. >> powerful indeed. category for now. really seeing it ramp up over the last couple of hours. as far as the size of the storm, not particularly large but boy does it pack a real punch. the size of the storm will run over the southern caribbean

>> the infringement aspect, right now, i don't think it is wildly threatening. just the return for the labels and all the rights setting the right presidents legally so they can grow ai music as a business. i think that they are trying to get out in front of this new ai wave and in a way that will help for artists and labels and presumably the platforms as well it is serious to see this type of activity in the early stage, yeah. >> part of a larger strategy for labels. how so? >> an interesting time for the record labels and the publishers massive amounts of piracy, they are tons of these tools on the market right now. artist to their own platforms just going often doing things on their own and bypass a lot of the other gatekeepers. so, you know, this new way prevents the threat.

charged with the murder of her boston police officer boyfriend did 2022. on friday the judges have the jury back to deliberate after they were unable to reach a unanimous verdict. madison is here with the latest. hello, madison. >> tomorrow will be day five of deliberations. the judge told the jurors that they have to keep going even though they cannot agree on a verdict right now. karen read is charged with second-degree murder, manslaughter and leaving the scene of an accident. prosecutors are accusing her of hitting her 46-year-old boyfriend john o'keefe with her suv and leaving him out in the blizzard. the off-duty boston police officer was found badly injured outside of another police officer's home in camden massachusetts in january 2022. he later died. prosecutors say she killed him out of anger after a night of drinking. reid says she dropped off o'keefe at the home for a late-night party. her defense attorney claims

bitten by a dog and left outside reid says she is being framed for a crime she did not commit. she has been very vocal at maintaining her innocence but ultimately did not take the stand in her own defense. >> i am an outspoken person. i have never been able to not speak up in my defense. i have to rely to them and their expertise. >> after days of deliberations the jury gave the judge a note saying that they could not reach a unanimous verdict. the judge ordered them to keep going. the prosecutor thinks jurors will eventually come to a decision. the defense does not. >> does not really indicate affirmatively that they cannot come to a conclusion, it just says they have not come to a conclusion. >> they have exhausted all manner.
