of hannity. this is a fox news alert. moments ago president joe biden wrapped up a high-stakes an exclusive interview with george stephanopoulos. this interview could determine the future of the presidency and the future of the country. it's widely viewed as his last opportunity to drown out the many voices governors and senators and congressmen either questioning his capacity behind-the-scenes or in some cases outright with their name on it. he's trying to prove these healthy, mentally capable. it was also his first on camera scripted opportunity to address his debate performance to a national audience. here's what he said. >> was this a bad episode or the sign of a more serious condition >> it was a bad episode. i was exhausted.

night for president biden he said this over and over again but the fact is his own staff and own family confirmed it's not 1 bad night if it was why would his staff need to change his entire schedule to accommodate him. why does he have to go to bed before 8:00 pm spacing out his campaign trail events why would his family call for a top-down array sure of his entire campaign staff if it was 1 bad and night it's not they are trying to accommodate the fact that president is not fit to serve and then continue to hide that from the public. >> you and i worked together on the trump campaign we know a lot about communications and leaks and reporters and reporting. i'm curious about the double down of i'm not going anywhere you can't stop me i'm not dropping out and yet you get headlines like katie rogers at the new york times biden tells
