july, so there you go, will. will: absolutely. joey: it is, in fact, america. so you are you are literally correct when you look at that -- will: thank you, joey. a big interview last night. joe biden looking to put his presidency, his race for the presidency in 2024 back on track. it all hinged on one sit-down interview with abc's george stephanopoulos. 22 minutes to become what has become a campaign off the rails. mounting democrats, mounting media members and mounting audience members at joe biden rallies are beginning to say it's time to go, joe. if you can't prove you're mentally up to the task. so it was time to answer that a question with george stephanopoulos are. if. >> have you had the specific cognitive tests, and have you had a neurologist, a specialist, do an examination? >> no. no one's said i had to. no one said -- they said i'm good. >> would you be willing to undergo an independent medical evaluation that included

neurological and cognitive tests and release the results to the american people? >> look, i have a cognitive test every single day. every day, i've had tests. lisa: but who's saying he's good? [laughter] i mean, we're told he's got a small circle that that he's listening to right now, i imagine it's jill biden and hunter biden. hunter biden clearly has his reasons why he's motivated to have his dad stay in office. i think sometimes when there's so much coverage a, sort of the magnitude of the moment gets lost. think about to -- the historic nature, we are debating on national television if the president of the united states is up to task cognitively, if he's able to finish this job. this is an historic moment that a we are in. and even taking that aside, we're also in this moment of history where you have predecessor and successor running side by side. and, you know, joe biden's message in 2020 was, like, well, i'm not donald trump. and now you look at polls, americans having trump nostalgia

because they're stacking those two resumés side by side and saying, you know what? i was better off under donald trump than i am a today. not only is he battling the age question, but also just the fact that he's failed at the job as president of the united states, as a commander in chief. joey: yeah. i don't know if he sees it that way though. i think he believes he has a good record to run on. as a matter of fact, when george stephanopoulos asked him can you serve effectively the next four years, he kind of went back to his record as evidence. >> the question on so many people's minds if right now is can you serve effectively for the next four years? >> george, i'm the guy that put nato together, the future. no one thought i could expand it. i'm the guy that shut putin down. no one thought could happen. i'm the guy that put together a south pacific initiative. i'm the guy that got 50 nations not only outside of europe as a well to help ukraine. if i'm the guy that got japanese to expand their budget. i'm the -- see what i mean?

and, for example, when i decided we used to have 40% computer chip, we invented the chip, computer chip, it's in everything from cell phones to weapons. and so we used to have 40%, we were down to virtually nothing. so i get in a plane against the advice of everybody, and i fly to to south korea. i convince them to invest in the united states billion of dollars. now we have tens of billions of dollars being invested in the united states making us back in a position we're going to own that a industry again. joey: i guess right there at the end he was talking about the chips act. [laughter] when he says i'm the guy that put putin down? put him down, put him down to invade ukraine? put him down to align with china? we just had a meeting, i think it was either last week or this week, i've been up here for a few days, where russia, china, iran, india, pakistan and several other countries are coming together kind of as their rebuttal to nato.

when you sit there and you brag about a the effect you have had on vladimir putin while every single day americans weigh the moral correctness of either spending all of our money on ukraine or allowing vladimir putin to be a butcher, where with do you -- who do you think you're talking to? lisa: you also a, remember, former secretary, defense secretary robert gates said joe biden had gotten every foreign policy issue wrong for 40 years, for four decades, he had a said. and that was when he was with it, allegedly. think about a guy who has gotten every foreign policy decision wrong according to robert gates, but now also with cognitive issues. seriously, does that impact his ability to make these big calls? you know, and you look at the fact that we're told he's only operating cognitively within the hours between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., it's pretty scary. will: it's where he considers his core competency, what he

considers his job. am i find cognitively? if i'm running the world. he sort of catches himself and says because we are the preeminent country in the world, i'm running the world. so my point is he sees his job as more than just being the president of the united states. when asked about a his cognitive ability again there, the first thing he mentions is i put nato back together. joey: yeah. will: so he sees running the world, nato, vladimir putin's encroachment upon eastern europe as the core competencies of his job, and many americans say at the detriment of america. and also in denial of what's really happening in america. if even in -- joey: doesn't sound very america first, does it? will: well, even if you consider beyond america and international policy, it's hard to say, yeah, you're doing a great job. joey: yeah. will: and this kind of denial is what the "wall street journal" is pointing out after this interview. this is their headline, biden's a abc interview showed a president in denial.

they wrote: though he was mostly cogent, the president appeared to be in denial about the crisis that has engulfed his party and firmly dug in on staying in the race. if he is to leave the democratic ticket, it seems he won't do so willingly. he said last night, and i think this is interesting, because even though he might be in denial about how well this is going for him, i'm not sure he's wrong when he says i am actually your best chance to win the race. [laughter] watch this. >> yes, but you're behind now in the popular vote. >> i don't, i don't buy that. if. >> is it worth the risk? >> i don't think anybody's more qualified to be president or win this race than me. lisa: and that's the challenge for -- it's not that someone isn't more qualified, you can't skip over kamala harris. you can't say not only did we screw the pooch with joe biden, but we also kid with our vp as well -- did with our vp as a well. and there was this call, a democrat pac, american bridge, and one of the donors on the

call said that they are better off with a dead joe biden, a comatose joe biden than her with kamala harris in swing with states. i think that's what democrats are running into right now. okay, if it's not joe biden, does kamala get us killed in wisconsin, pennsylvania and michigan as a well? they also is have a potential logistical buzz saw they could be walking ugh into, fec issues with what to do with joe biden's campaign cash. there are also a going to be ballot access lawsuits as well, so there are a9 lot of things that they're trying to figure out right now. joey: yeah. like i said and maybe we're beating a broken record here because we just have to wait and see, does he stay on the ballot, does he not. i think it's joe biden all the way unless he physically can't do it, and i don't think he's wrong. just like you said, will, he may be their best chance. just to go and pontiff pontificate here, you put gavin newsom in there, he's got sex scandal as in his past.

he can't go after donald trump on that. he's got a state that has gone from a surplus to a major deaf situate he can't go after donald trump on that. covid, i don't know that he handled covid very well -- [laughter] or any better. so some of these issues that a appeal to, in my opinion, those voters that could go either way, he's not going to do any better. will: well, i think they're in the process of convincing themselves that they have a better chance of winning with kamala. i think they're in the process of trying to convince themselves this is a better chance to win the presidency. i want to come back to kamala because i want to share what axios has written this morning. behind the curtain, biden's credibility crisis. so they write: lawmakers and top democrats feel duped by biden, his press office, his campaign chairman, jeffrey katzenberg, his top aides. they promised the president was sharper than ever. the point is they are -- they, and i think the american people should be as well when it comes to the media -- feel duped by people who have really

perpetuated this cover-up on the american peep. now let me return to kamala harris. she's part of this cover-up. you can't just gloss over. she's defended him at every turn and his mental competency. dating back not just in the past week, dating back months. so let's just say kamala harris is the person who takes over. she has to sit down for her george stephanopoulos interview. she has to answer questions about why she lied to the american public about joe biden. we're supposed to just turn -- we, being the american people -- and trust her now after participating in, i think as we appropriately characterized, one of the biggest cover-ups of the past half century in america. lisa: but, i mean, who else do they have? i just think if it's not joe biden, it's kamala harris. but i think in a lot of this conversation too because, obviously, we're focusing on the cognitive issues in front of us. we all watched the debate. even when he was just wobbling out to the stage, we knew something was wrong. five minutes in, i was, like, this guy is done. this is bad for him.

but they also have to answer for their policy, and three out of four americans feel like we're in recession. they're looking at inflation, prices of everything have gone up. you've got the border crisis as well, you've got, you know, we talked about what's going on on the world stage, the world of chaos, war in europe, in the middle east. that they're going to have to answer for that too. and we have the side by side between donald trump and the biden administration if or just democrats in general, the country was better off under donald trump. we had a stronger economy. the world was under control. the border was under control, so i think that is actually even more so than joe biden's age the biggest difficulty for the democrats this election cycle. joey: it'll be interesting to see, if they want to strengthen kamala's image, they don't have to put her out there as a potential president to do it, she is on the ticket. she has the opportunity to show a stronger version of herself. we've reported on white house intrigue like palace intrigue as far as the staff that's left her, is there tension between her and him. when they came out for the

fireworks, it was a show of unity. we'll see if they can keep that up. it's not just voters and members of congress that they have to convince, they have to convince people and whether we like this or not, they write big checks and keep campaigns going. although he raised nearly $40 million after that, he's still down, i think, $60 million from president trump in the last quarter. earlier we had on don people, a former obama fundraiser -- don peoplings, and this is what he had to say about the situation. >> i was always apprehensive about biden for a second term. president biden ran for office, and he was supposed to be transitional president, and that mention that a kamala harris was going to to learn how to be president and step up to be president. that's not the case. she hasn't done a great job, and now the president is saying that he's the best candidate. he feels that he's capable to run the country. many people don't think he is. and also he's still bitter after 2061 -- 2016 his president, who he served as vice president

under, barack obama, said he would not support him in a primary if contest against hillary rodham clinton. the that was a time biden should have run. i think democrats are in position now where they've got to dance with the person they came with. they put him in this position. they've known all along that his capacity was diminishing. day after a day, week after a week, but they propped him up and hid it from the media. and now all of a sudden the one time he has exposure to a give if take with president trump, he fails. and now they're panicking. will: pretty fascinating perspective especially when it comes to the fund raising behind the scenes and the expectations he would only be a one-term president anyway before transitioning to kamala harris. joey: yeah, he said that. he said i'm a placeholder, a transition president. quickly changed his tune before the election in 2020, but that was how he a started campaigning for the nomination. lisa: i think he pointed out the fact, look, they knew about joe biden's condition, right? and he still decided to run anyway, the people around a him still encouraged him to run.

democrats in the media were perfectly fine with covering this up. they're going to keep telling us, there's nothing to see her. -- here. you have all these people, you know, later on the record being like, oh, this is the best he's ever been. people like joe scarborough at one point saying this is the best we've ever seen from joe biden. so these people -- i will say, the only caveat about a kamala, just as a easily as the media a was with willing to lie to us and tell us everything is fine, you're a liar if you say otherwise, there's actual videos of joe biden being joe biden as cheap fakes, they would present kamala harris as the second coming. can you imagine the magazine covers, the puff piece, the interviews in trying to make her seem likable? i think at a some point the media's going to turn this ship around if it ends up being biden and getting behind that democrat nominee because they don't want donald trump to win. will: that takes me back to what i says earlier. if they are really serious about the fact that they have been duped, the donors, the media about the -- by the biden

administration, they have to hold kamala accountable as well. she's part of the cover-up that duped america. you can't just move on to kamala without going, why did you lie to us -- joey: i don't understand that. who was duped? you east weren't -- either weren't paying attention -- will: hold on, joey. the point isn't that it was successful. i get that point, and i've seen that rebuttal. joey: yeah. will: no one woke up yesterday, okay? but that doesn't is set aside the fact -- joey: they tried to. will: i mean, a week ago it was cheap fakes. it was cheap fakes a week ago. joey: i think the big surprise is if they were duped at all, they were told, hey, he's going to be on for -- maybe the state of the union address was, hey, that's who we're going to get for this debate. maybe the duping was what i believe is they knew what they had, but they thought they could get the best version of him for that that debate. they thought, honestly, the whole story here is that democrats thought republicans

would be in this position. that was their strategy. that the lawsuits and the negative publicity and the turmoil within the republican party post-january 6th would mean that we or conservatives or the republican party in congress would be looking to do something drastic, change the top of the ticket, find a way to disqualify president trump. the opposite has happened. he's been embraced by more republicans than ever. he's shown incredible discipline on messaging. he's outlived all of the lawsuits. as a matter of fact, we see them start to crumble, and now he's in a place, president donald trump, where he's leading into the polls and we're going into the convention, and that upended everything. and the only saving grace was going to be the debate and what did not happen? president trump did not self-destruct in the debate, and now they're freaking out. but just like lisa a said, give it a few weeks. biden stays stubborn and the media changes their entire tune. lisa: i also a want to point out the media's supposed to inform the public, not shape the electorate. [laughter] we have all this stuff about election interference during

russia, it was russia agate, russia solution, all this difference stuff. is the media not interfering with the electorate? think about the lies that we have been told. russiagate, that was a lie. they lied about what donald trump said about a charlottesville. they had 51 intelligence officers including cia directors lie to the american people, say that hunter biden's laptop was russian disinformation when it was real. the media also lied during covid, and then they lied about these videos as well. so, i mean, you want to talk about a threat to democracy, does the media not fit the bill? will: right. joey: well, at least president biden returned decency and cocaine to the white house. [laughter] turning now to your headlines, police identifying three people killed after police say a suspected drunk driver plowed into nine people at a fourth of july party in new york city if. a mom and her son along with another woman in her 40s died. officers say the suspect ran through a stop sign over the sidewalk and into a park. he faces assault, aggravated vehicular homicide and other

charges. the suspect reportedly has a long criminal record including a february assault charge for an attack on his addiction-downing instructor. -- counseling instructor. should he have been in jail? if. democratic illinois congressman brad schneider says his washington office was with vandalized on independence day. he took to social media saying my capitol office was vandalized yesterday in a vile act of hate in which the protesters of the more than 100 people still held hostage in gaza, including 8 americans, were ripped9 from the wall. the posters. shredded and tossed across the hall away. schneider also revealing about 50 masked demonstrators rallied outside of his house in illinois last weekend. a new study revealing 1 in 5 electric vehicle charging stations in the u.s., well, they just don't work. this comes as a data shows ev sales are down 15% this year

tennessee where he says they found a healthy freedom mindset as a bonus, and he joins us now. kirk, thanks so much for joining us. you know, i don't -- you wear your christian faith proudly, and you advocate for that as well. how much of the values of los angeles just being a mismatch for your family drove you to tennessee? >> well, certainly there's the concerns of politics and crime and the economy, but there is -- i'm finding california refugees all a over tennessee and texas and florida and places like this. there's been a flood of that talent and creatives who have left california. they're frustrated that their values are not being represented in the projects that they're working on. so they're going out and independently creating products that do represent their values. in fact, tennessee has seen an 82% increase in motion picture and television production jobs, making it the hollywood of of, and nashville has become a hub for christian projects like the ones that i'm working on with

other fellow california's cape pees. joey: kirk, i'm not going to challenge you on this, but i'm a georgia began, i still live in georgia. up this recently, i lived in fayette fayetteville where a bunch of studios popped up. they brought hollywood there hoping to show hollywood what the rest of the values of the country are. and you're exactly right, this idea that we can bring stories forward through creativity in hollywood if they're located in other places, not just this microcosm. do you see that on the horizon? do you see opportunities to tell stories that are more faith-based or value-based, and do you see america really appealing to that? >> absolutely. you know, i've not abandoned california altogether, and those who are here in the south around the tennessee area from new york and other places, the idea is a strategic retreat to go to places where we can build community around faith, family

and freedom and then expand those values from coast to coast. it's kind of like batman fights the joker in gotham city, but he's got to go back to the bat cave to rest is and reorganize. [laughter] i'm going back to california. we've got a lot of jokers out there, and i want to spread the values that are going to lead to people's blessing and protection. joey: yeah. lisa: real quick, how excited are you to be a tennessean? i love the escapee comment as well. i also fled if new york to florida, but how excited finish. >> that's right. i meet people in california -- in tennessee from california. i say don't california our tennessee. joey: we're back with a fox weather alert. parts of texas are bracing few now-tropical storm beryl to hit the coast as a hurricane on monday. storm watchers have issued -- storm watches have been issued

as beryl pushes past the southern gulf of mexico. the storm hit mexico as a category 2 hurricane yesterday. officials say no one was hurt or killed, thankfully. we're going to turn now to chief meteorologist rick reichmuth with our fox weather forecast. rick: yeah. you know, it hit ya is may ca the day before and then the windward islands as a major hurricane. now it's back out in the gulf starting to get a flare-up right into center. it's probably going to take around 24 hours before the storm gets its structure in place again, and after that it will have more time potentially to gain strength. hurricane watches in effect all along the texas coast. we're certainly going to see a lot of rain, and because of that especially on monday we've got a big flood threat. it's mostly going to be the east half of texas. widespread, 5-10 inches of rain. one other story, the heat out west is breaking all kinds of records. yesterday we got to 124 in palm springs, highest temperature

that's ever happened at least since we've kept records and, look at this, las vegas, your highest temperature you've ever had is 117. look at the forecast, three out of the next four days, 118. the heat is on. will, back to you. will: thank you, rick. a washington school district becoming the first in the state to ban transgender athletes from competing in women's sports. that less -- resolution prompted by a biological male taking home first place at a girls' state track meet. >> as a father of multiple daughters who have played in sports, it is absolutely ludicrous that we are sitting here talking about having males in female sports. it's not safe, it's unfair. some would say that allowing men in women's sports is inclusive, but when men join women's teams, women are excluded. will: gabe galbraith, that school board president you heard from, is joining us right now. great to have you on the

program, gabe, thank you. i'm just curious, that speech that you gave -- and the resolution which you guys passen your school district among the parents but also the other board members? was this a unanimous sentiment? is it a majority sentiment or was this controversial? >> good morning, thanks for having me. no, it was supported by all. we passed it unanimously at our board meeting, and the support a has been great actually. the resolution itself came about based on some information that one of our track coaches shared with us about the extreme differences in male and female competing in track. and so at a our board meeting we had a few of our track coaches show up and share their concerns. these coaches are well established, 30 and 40 plus years coaching track, high-level

college athletes that benefited from title ix. and so it's been, it's been very well received in our community and locally. and this is been a few detractors. will: it's interesting you bring up about the track coach. i asked you about how well received it was because what your resolution and your point of view, by the way, in that speech that that you gave reflects is common sense. we know, all of us down deep know there are differences between boys and girls and that boys shouldn't be competing against girls. for some reason now, we have to build these arguments -- and there are legitimate arguments on something that, again, we know down deep, right? we know with common sense. but we've just been lost to a culture. so all of a sudden, it's not just refreshing, it sounds brave the hear what you said that a day. so or to pass the resolution like you guys did. >> yeah. unfortunately, common sense has been lost here in washington for quite a while.

we've had a lot of different things pushed down to us on, in the schools that have just don't make sense and have been struggles for the schools around the state. but again, it really comes down to we all know the difference, we know the science, we mow common sense and -- we know common sense. and, unfortunately, here we are discussing it, having to talk about it because they say it'll never happen to you, it'll never happen, this doesn't happen, and then all of a sudden a we have a state track meet and we have a male win a female race. not only win the race, but the male that won had the fastest time, of course, in all classifications in that race, and so it's just -- it's mind blowing that that we, we're at this point where we're just having a common sense discussio- will: that is, by the way, the current rebuttal. it'll never happen, and if it does, it's statistically very, very improbable. and that's all great until it does, it affects your daughter or community. by the way, it's really great to hear that common sense is not

they're going to lose. >> that is exactly it. it's kind of a mini-layered -- many-layers onion, that is the first layer. he's been like this. again, this is not some new revelation. and the only difference was is that nobody really knew so that he could win, right? they kept him hidden, and they expected to be able to do the same thing, right? they were just going to hide him somehow. it's a hubris when you get something and it's an accidental win, then you just think really highly of yourself and that's, of course, another problem. but so they're thinking, oh, we can do this again. they know what they've had. we saw that with their behavior in 2020. and now, of course, what they didn't expect -- and that's why they're not prepared -- is for donald trump to survive. oh, my gosh, he's indicted, he's a felon! you know, i'm for the outlaw. [laughter] and this is the underestimation of the american people when we see inherent unfairness against anyone. that is, i think, the core. we're in the fourth of july weekend, that's why the country

exists, was because of unfairness with a monarchy that would crush people who did not con con. form and here we are -- conform. we're puppies, and we still don't like it, and we're not going to like it forever. this is how detached the democratic party is. they thought, well, it's not going to the matter if people learn, you know, he's out of it because donald trump's going to be in prison, and americans are going to hate him, and it was all a delusion. and that's why -- this is the other layer, that's why the country's a disaster, why the world is at war, it's why the bad guys can do whatever they want, it's why isis is in the united states, isis is rebuilding, hezbollah and hamas and jew hatred. everything is spilling over because of this framework that now is destroying, finally, the democratic party. lisa: do these calls matter? i want to read what ann ay craig said from minnesota, one of the members of congress that has asked him to step aside. as an elected leader, i feel a responsibility to be honest about what i believe even when

it's hard to hear. president biden is a good man ask and i appreciate his lifetime of service, but i believe he should step aside for the next generation of leadership. the stakes are too high. we also know that senator warner is working on a coalition of senators to call on him to step down. at what point does that become inescapable for him, joe biden? >> first of all, it does have to be his decision because he's won the primaries, right? he has the count that he needs. he is the president. the fact -- two things this shows you is that there's no communication inside the white house. they're having to do this publicly, which is interesting in and of itself. "the new york times," or normally they'd have a direct line into the white house, have to do opinion if pieces and an editorial saying step down. so this shows you the chaos, the lack of communication between, you know, the praf a da of the united states and their boss, which is the democratic party -- pravda. so there's constant disconnects. more than that, they're worried about the down ballot. so this is a way to separate themselves from biden for their

own races that that may be coming up. so they've made a statement, it's like, you know, you think biden should go, so doer i, and they're hoping that people won't vote down a ticket. but the fact is -- and they're trying to separate themselves from the chaos. it's late for that. they've accepted this from the beginning because it worked, and they lied to the american people because it worked. and now this convenient thing. and that's why i think the bidens are a littleerer plexed and maybe even mad, is that they agreed to do this, and jill biden agreed we have to presume knowing the condition of her husband, trusting the people that did this and now under the bus he goes because the grand plan of, you know, crushing donald trump, boy, talk about underestimating a man, did not work. will: i don't think the mainstream media will do this because i don't think the integrity is real, but today there's some integrity being echoed. you heard even from that democratic congresswoman, i feel compelled to be honest.
