♪ ♪ ♪ hello america i am mark levin welcome to a special independence day sunday edition of "life, liberty & levin." that is right here we celebrate independence day as long as we can. the entire weekend. we think about the sacrifices that were made to protect this nation. tonight we will re-examine some recent discussions i have had with great guests like congressman elyse stepanek, et cetera tom scott and, steve miller and leah zelda and the catastrophe that is our southern border the insane policies the biden administration putting everyone in this country at risk. we begin with america's governor desantis who is doing an incredible job in florida. he tells us why biden's failure to abide by the constitution and his constant lies of the american people. about the security of the southern border all the more reason we need a trump back in

the white house. go. we are here with america's governor governor desantis. governor, you've been a member of the house forgiven governor for a while now. you are considered a very, very successful governor. you look at joe biden, he has an executive order he puts out he says i'm going to fix the border. he signed over 90 executive orders he setting another executive order. nothing is changing on the border. he not only violates the take care clause of the constitution for it not only violates multiple parts of federal immigration law, he lies and lies and lies to the american people more than michael cohen. what do you make of this? >> mark, when you are in a position of executive responsibility they're sometimes there sometimesbad things may he not your fault but sometimes bad things are happening that if you had had foresight you could have

headed it off. then there are things that are sins of commission. it's a sin of commission by joe biden. he overturned the trump policies. that has caused the crisis. it did not happen out of thin air. it was manufactured and engineered by joe biden. the policy consequences have been disastrous. you have highlighted people i have highlighted people for criminal aliens coming in. we know it's happening with human trafficking. we know with the cartels are doing. and then the sheer number of people you have a liberal jurisdictions bring the interest of illegal aliens over their own people which is outrageous. but then you have the constitutional question that you cite. when you put your left hand on the bible and raise your right hand to take the presidential oath you are taking an oath to take care there faithfully

executed. he is systematically violated that oath he has not lived up to the office of the president's duty to make sure our laws are enforced and even doubly so commander-in-chief he has a responsibility to to ensure and enforce the sovereignty of our country and he has not done that. now it he is trying to do it they have let in 10, 20 however many millions of people that has had a negative comp on american society and our country and our sovereignty. then they're going to want to pull the wool over people's eyes and ask like he is the one doing something for the border. he's going to blame the republicans in congress but the republicans in congress have made mistakes. they should have attached the border to all of these appropriations. they refused to do it. the bottom line is this executive order is windowdressing. it is a farce and you and i both

know the corporate media is going to run interference on this for the rest of the election for the going to try to act like the border is taken care of. they're going to try to act like he solved the problem. first of all that is not true. second of all between now and the election the day after the election he is going to open it back up again. we note that is going to happen. it's really up to the american people at this point to put a stop to it. mark: joe biden likes to accuse a president trump of being a dictator wanting to put people in prison. that sounds like projection, doesn't it? and on top of that, governor, he lies about so much. for instance the supreme court ruled twice against him. he has defied the court. to fight a supreme court, two supreme court rulings he's talking about democracy and the constitution and the rule of law. he lies and says what you say to

this president has defied the supreme court? who defies immigration laws and in fact it defies a lot of loss when it comes to this country. what you say to him? >> you have two things one is this guy is a serial liar. a whole host of issues on the border, on the student loans on even a minor things that he is constantly doing it. the difference and would donald trump wasn't present if he had said something with that, out of place he would have 10 co- "fact checker from corporate media organizations trying to say that is not true they would do all this and spend all of this up. with biden, these guys is gone on a three to half your vacation but they basically let him do all of this stuff. very rarely as he held accountable. often times an indirect way often times it's friendly fire. with your present life's concept

of a president who is not up to the job and that is not something they want to talk about. on the constitutional question he is in violating the constitution with the student loan gambit. they had the statute on the book for 20 years and all of these cited that can be used to have taxpayers bail out people with student loans? if a truck driver is taxed to be able to pay out the student loan of semi they got a degree in gender studies, that is wrong. it's also not legal. he has not gotten congress to enact that policy did you know why? if congressman voted to enact that policy a lot of them would get voted out of office is not with the american people want. he is a floating the law and a number of ways. one of the things that is frustrating is there's a lot of people who are apathetic out there for all of this. i do not think there is sufficient outrage at how he's

conducted himself in office. mark: governor desantis, is joe biden at war with working class americans in this country? quick so he came into office what did he do? on precedented spending spree that sparked the worst inflation we have seen in the last 40 years. people's grocery bills have gone up 50, 60, 70, one 100% since he has been president. their wages have not caught up that much. he also came in and tried to force covid vax mandates on people. threatening truck drivers with losing their job and other blue-collar people. he allowed the open border which is bringing in people that are working in some of the states illegally. that is depression wages for working people. the overall approach to energy policy he is putting climate ideology over bread-and-butter

economics. he wants you to pay more for gas. he wants you to pay more for electricity. and he wants you to pay more for automobiles. mark, most people do not want an electric vehicle but most people cannot afford an electric vehicle. and yet he wants to plunge us in that area. it is been a frontal assault on the middle class on working people. all in service of this bankrupt ideology. by the way a lot of the big city mayors and prosecutors deserve a lot of blame for the crime. biden is right in there with them he supports eliminating cash avail. he supports the soros funded prosecutors across the country. incidentally in florida we had to have them here at one in tampa, one in orlando. i removed both of them from

their post. over their duty to enforce the law that put people in their jurisdiction at risk. we are not standing for that in the state of florida. biden wants to facilitate that all across the country for. >> in fact you are sued when you fired that prosecutor and one in court the other day. this is what i mean, conservatives need to take risks. they need to follow their principles. and take them through action. this is one of the things you have been doing as governor over and over and over again but is not enough for conservatives to whine, complain or bring their hands we are in positions of power we actually have to do things. people look at your experience and your success as governor, this is what it is about too. i promise this, these are my principles i am implementing it we will duke it out if we are sued.
