>> carley: back with a fox weather alert. two million people in texas are still without power after beryl. power outages putting residents in a dangerous situation as heat index hits triple digits. it could take days or weeks to restore power. >> todd: beryl heading to northeast putting the region at risk of flooding and tornados through thursday. fox weather forecast jd. >> janice: i have friends that live in texas. i lived there for a number of years. they don't have power. some are in hotels. some don't know what is going to happen in next several days. close to two million people without power in texas, arkansas

and extension. southeast texas, i'm concerned, we have another day of extreme heat. temperatures in the 90s, feeling like 100. lake charles toward shreveport, galveston, over 100 degrees. not much relief for the weekend. we need power back on. social media was showing the temperature in people's homes without power close to 90 degrees. that is not sustainable. beryl is moving across great lakes. we are concerned about flooding in upstate new york and new england. a lot of areas saturated ground, this will cause potential for flash flooding and we could see severe storms, including tornados for areas. we need to watch that today through tomorrow. looking at the heat.
