tv   Jesse Watters Primetime  FOX News  July 10, 2024 10:00pm-11:00pm PDT

10:00 pm
john fetterman, the senator, the actual senator will be on jesse watters primetime at eight there. good. yeah. wow. that's exciting. judge. okay, now, remember, i may you may remember i talked about making sure that you download the fox nation special on alec baldwin. get it? because right now he's on trial. and the issue is whether or not he pulled the trigger. the fbi said he pulled the trigger. the forensic expert said he did. he said he did not. the question is, then how is halyna hutchins killed? you got to download this fox nation. i'm going for the whole 10s. harold kate wetzel married sarah wetzel. they met in sixth grade. he put in the 12th grade yearbook. i bet i married 20 bucks and he won. congrats y'all. fella that's married. that's it for us. have a great night. welcome to jesse watters primetime tonight. it's up to
10:01 pm
the president to decide if he is going to run. we're all encouraging him to make that decision because time is running short. is pelosi about to stab biden in the back? john fetterman joins primetime. ooh don't do it. clooney was exactly right. and every single person i talked to at the fundraiser thought the same thing, except for the people working for joe biden. obama directing george clooney to abandon joe biden. he picked kamala harris as his vice president. if joe had picked someone even halfway competent, they would have bounced him from office years ago. trump turns his focus to laugh and kamala laugh, and kamala laugh. i n apostrophe plus, cause i smell fried baloney all over you. day three of the joe biden
10:02 pm
hostage crisis. as we witness what political insiders are calling a bomb drop in washington, the first shots fired in the democrats civil war. it was nancy pelosi who pulled the trigger on biden's favorite morning show. it's up to the president to decide if he is going to run. we're all encouraging him to make that decision because time is running short. the i think, overwhelming support of the of the caucus, it's not for me to say i'm not the head of the caucus anymore, but he's beloved, he is respected, and people want him to make that decision. biden decided he's running, and nancy pelosi said he hasn't decided yet. but time's running out. one senior democrat aide said she knows he's watching. she's not an idiot. she chose those words carefully. another one said it
10:03 pm
was a shot in the arm biden thought he had until saturday, before democrats sent in the swat team. but pelosi, the sharpshooter taking aim early. do you believe that? him waiting so long to make this decision could harm any comments in the hallway about the fate of our nation? okay, are you concerned whether or not he can win in november? i think he can. do you believe he should run for reelection? i'm not. i'm not speaking english to you. i'm not going to be making any statements about any of that. right now in the hallway. oh, it's one thing for the house to buck biden, but the senate, the chamber close to joe's heart, is starting to crack. i am deeply concerned about joe biden winning this november because it is an existential threat to the country. if donald trump wins,
10:04 pm
this race is on a trajectory that is very worrisome. if you care about the future of this country, donald trump is on track. i think, to win this election and maybe win it by a landslide and take with him the senate and the house. for me, this isn't a question about polling. it's not a question about politics. it's a moral question about the future of our country and just breaking tonight, the first democrat member of the senate is calling on biden to withdraw from the race. senator peter welch of vermont and senate majority leader chuck schumer is telling donors he's open to dumping biden. so nancy and chuck have formed an alliance, and biden's countering hal by sending his staff to capitol hill tomorrow to beg. but an anonymous democrat senator calls it a waste of everyone's time. if biden can't even come make the case himself. biden's done negotiating. cnn reports that biden is done talking about it and he's staying in the race.
10:05 pm
but this is a delicate hostage negotiation and if biden thinks only god can convince him to bow out, he should prepare for this. if he doesn't drop out in the next week or two, a whistleblower will emerge. somebody who has some fortitude, some ethics, some morals inside of joe biden's cabinet, somebody inside of that white house who knows what's going on, who understands the cover up, and they will leak something to you for your prime time show. biden is about to realize that the presidency isn't the most powerful thing in washington. the democrat machine is we're witnessing a d-day level invasion air, ground, sea. barack obama just directed george clooney to send up the bat signal that barack really did need to help joe off the stage at the la fundraiser. more on that later. top chicago donors are already halting fundraising lunches at the convention, but biden reportedly saying if major donors don't come along, we'll do it without them. tough talk,
10:06 pm
but behind the scenes team biden scrambling tonight, calling up convention delegates to head off a rebellion in chicago. delegates were reportedly thunderstruck at the calls. some of them had to double check the caller id to make sure it was from delaware, and not a prank call. biden's delegates see a bloodbath coming if biden ends up runnin, potentially the democrats could lose the senate, the house and the white house. and it's going to be a bloodbath. the blue states that we have held for many decades might potentially turn red. democrats are panicking over polling that shows new york is now a battleground state. sticking with biden has become political suicide. the clintons are saying the party is sailing into a hurricane. it reminds me of a book that made me read in college called ship of fools. a
10:07 pm
bunch of desperate people sailing into disaster. and, you know, i just think that cowards have never been criminals in a war yet. and the way that you beat criminals is not to be cowards is to take it directly on biden for the first time in 50 years, has his own party rooting against him. and it's not just that trump, the media and the democrats all want the same thing. biden gone. the times says long time party loyalists are now reduced to hoping for another major public misstep by biden. such as a serious stumble at his nato news conference to convince the president that he should leave the race on his own. democrats are literally praying that biden falls over another sandbag in june. biden tripping would have been the democrats biggest nightmare, and now in july, it's their only hope. and his big boy nato press conference could be the final dance, his first press conference where he won't get the questions ahead of time.
10:08 pm
but he should know no one's going to ask about nato. tomorrow's press conference is going to be so brutal that dana perino is advising the white house to cancel it, to save joe's dignity and allow him to leave with some grace. biden's whole presidency has been focused on how history will remember him. he spent hours with historians in the oval. he's compared himself to washington, lincoln and fdr. he has steven spielberg choreographing his campaign. but history will remember biden for how he handles this. not covid, not the chips act, how he handles this moment. is there going to be an extraction team sent into the white house with a straitjacket and a gurney? or does biden hold hostages until the convention, where he's going to dare the delegates to vote for someone else? reporter pennsylvania senator john fetterman joins me now. senator, it's a great honor to have you here. is this
10:09 pm
a dream of yours to appear on jesse watters primetime? yeah well, because and it's really my dad's dream as well, too. he's going to be watching it. and of course, that dad's going to be proud. all right, well, we're going to we're going to make dad proud. hi, dad. hi, mr. fetterman, tell me about joe biden. 72% of the country doesn't think he's fit to serve. you do? what do you know that the rest of the country doesn't? absolutely. i think a lot of that hasn't really changed. i know it went up a little bit, but already america has now realized that joe biden is old, and he certainly isn't as sharp as he was 5 or 10 years ago. of course, that's a reality, but that really doesn't mean much for me personally about my supporting the president. and i really don't think i've seen anything that makes me want to change that. and i would like to remind everybody watching this
10:10 pm
is that i don't need a job. i don't need anything out of this. this is not i'm not following him blindly. but i do fundamentally believe he's been a great president. and i do believe ultimately he can prevail. and that's where i'm at. you saw the debate just like we all saw the debate. and that didn't change your mind about anything. i was actually flying back from israel at that point. and then when i landed and i started to get some of the some of the text, and then at that point i realized that i really wanted to get on social media and defend our president after that. and that's that's what i decided to do. but of course, i mean, i know you and your viewers know that i had a really rough debate as well, too. yes, but i really want to remind anybody that that i'm not i'm not that the sum total of a bad debate. you didn't see joe biden's entire debate against donald trump. i didn't
10:11 pm
i saw the perhaps the ones the most difficult ones, of course, but but for me, and i know a lot of the people typically that are watching fox, you know, realize that donald trump may have had a great day and a great debate on that. but what i do would like to remind people that that some people thought that donald trump may have had in some of the kinds of difficulty that perhaps joe biden, but he was saying things that were untrue, or he was saying things that really i think aren't really consistent with some of the values of a majority of people. but but without a doubt that joe biden didn't have a great debate. but but to me, i think that he i think he's going to be our best, i think he's i mean, he already beat trump. and i think this is our best opportunity to defeat trump again. you did have a bad debate, but you recovered and you sound a lot better than you used to sound. and you won. i walked in and i was like, hello, hello and good
10:12 pm
night, right, right. you know, but yeah, no, maybe just as bad as joe biden. but senator, but i knew that it was going to be rough. senator, you recovered and you are younger and you were capable of making a great recovery as you have. joe biden is not in that position. joe biden is not in a position where he can recover. it is only going to get worse. you still trust his ability to execute the duties of commander in chief? yeah, well, i guess i'm not suggesting that there's going to be a benjamin button kind of. he's going to get younger. i mean, of course that's not going to happen. but again, it really was just a bad it really was a bad night. i've spent an entire year with the president, for a bunch of different events, all across pennsylvania. and he was normal and he was engaged, and he was actually very popular and people were eager to have a selfie. and those kinds of things. so i really want to remind everybody that joe biden has done a really good job as
10:13 pm
president, and i fundamentally am going to remain loyal to that. and i think we have some things to learn from republicans is that when things happen, republicans, you know, surround and support and they lean in and often democrats and something happens, you know, we might want to panic or we might have argue amongst ourselves. and i, i when i have that meeting tomorrow, i mean, i'm going to be very consistent and i'm going to be very aggressive and defend joe biden. senator, you're going into these meetings with these democrat senators, and a lot of them are seeming to say that this is going to be a landslide, but they don't have the courage to come out publicly and say, joe, you got to go. do you think they're cowards? well well, i without using that word, but what i will say is, is that anything that i will say that's going to have my name and my face attached to that and, and
10:14 pm
i'm not a leaker and i'm not going to say something behind someone's back about this. and i also i really would like to remind anybody watching this too. it's like, you know, if i didn't believe joe biden was our was was our guy, i'm not going to be saying some of the things that others have done publicly, but i certainly wouldn't be standing speaking with you about it tonight or in doing other kinds of meetings as well, too. i would say that privately, and i really am confused when some people claim to be your friend. but if you really a real friend, you know you're not going to say that in a very public kind of a way. the kind of damaging things. obama. that's not the way i would do it. but because i'm very 100% on you're a you're a very loyal guy and you have honor. obama is joe biden's best friend. they had their little best friend bracelets, and now obama is sending out clooney and axelrod and all his speechwriters to say, joe, step down. it's time's up. do you think obama is disloyal? i
10:15 pm
don't, i don't understand, i would like to remind all and i'm a fan of all those guys, but, remember when obama was a long shot and clinton was supposed to run the table? and if and they weren't run out of their race, they got in and they held through that. and then others like, say, james carville, i mean, it really wasn't about his name in that race. it was really much more about ross perot and he's still living off a fish that he caught 30 some years ago on that. and it's not really helpful to damage the president. and that's not a profile in courage. you know, that's where that's where we're at. and i'd like to remind everybody that debates really don't mean much. they really don't. i do fundamentally believe we all need to end the conversation. joe biden is going to be our guy. and it's going to be it's going to be rough and it's uncertain, but it's going to be very close as well too. and i would just
10:16 pm
everybody watching to watch how big the crowd is going to be of trump in butler. he's coming to butler county this weekend and i mentioned that back in 2020, trump put 20,000 people into a rally. he's very popular in pennsylvania. this was always going to be close. and that's the way it's going to be. nothing's changed in in a way in 2024, when joe biden picked kamala harris as vice president, she was supposed to be the new generation. biden was supposed to be the bridge. hand her the baton. do you not think kamala is qualified to be handed that baton and run? well, of course, if joe, god forbid, if something happened that joe biden or if joe biden stepped down, of course, i believe she's qualified to do that. and i think she's been a great vice president and so but but but right now, as far as i know, i haven't heard anything that she's fully in on joe biden as well too. and right now that's a powerful that's a powerful team right now. and i
10:17 pm
refuse to turn our back on a great president. and i know people watching this might disagree that he hasn't been a great president, but but i do believe he was. and i think loyalty is really one of the last. it's one of the last currencies in this in this lousy business. john fetterman, thank you so much for joining jesse watters primetime. tell your dad i said hello. thank you. and say, yeah, can i say, hey, dad. hey, carl fetterman. yeah. so thanks, it's nice to talk to you. thank you. have a great night. george clooney stabs joe biden in the back and barack obama's fingerprints are on the knife. there's a way to cut your dishwashing time by 50. try dawn powerwash dish spray. it removes 99% of grease and grime in half the time it cleans so well. you can replace multiple cleaning products. try dawn powerwash donny osmond on fox and friends. watch his can't miss performance friday.

shop mando dotcom. just three weeks ago, after george clooney helped biden raise 30 million bucks at the famous hollywood
10:23 pm
fundraiser with barack obama, the actor is now calling for biden to resign. quote, in the last four years, he's won many of the battles he's faced, but the one battle he cannot win is the fight against time. none of us can. it's devastating to say it, but the joe biden i was with three weeks ago at the fundraiser was not the joe big effin deal biden of 2010. he wasn't even the joe biden of 2020. he was the same man we all witnessed at the debate. clooney should have said this after the fundraiser, but he wasn't brave enough. so we waited like an actor for direction, and that direction came from barack obama, who blessed that script. obama is basically telling us that, yeah, biden did freeze. and the i did have to guide him off stage. that wasn't a cheap fak. barack has his fingerprints all over this hit job. after the clooney op ed dropped obama's speechwriter ran to cnn to twist the knife. i mean, it was
10:24 pm
not surprising to any of us who were at the fundraiser. i was there, it clooney was exactly right. and every single person i talked to at the fundraiser thought the same thing. but i remember my wife, emily turned to me after the fundraiser and said, what are we going to do? i mean, and i said, well, there's a debate in a week. either he'll do well in the debate or he'll be like this at the debate, and then the whole country will be talking about it. and so here we are. and barack wasn't done. another one of his speechwriters just said this. there have always been two joe biden's the empathetic, decent, big hearted leader. and there's the blowhard with a chip on his shoulder. stubborn. something to prove. joe biden can leave office as one of the greatest presidents of our lifetimes. or he can leave a stubborn old man who allowed hubris and insecurity to destroy his legacy and perhaps our democracy or democracy with it. the same men who put words in obama's mouth for years are now spitting daggers at his former vp. this is a sick business. barack just cut
10:25 pm
campaign videos with biden. he knew his condition. if michelle ran for president, she was going to lose. barack would probably stab her in the back to all this obama puppeteering gives air cover to other democrats, but the bedwetters still hiding in their foxholes. clooney has concerns about president biden's mental fitness. do you? i don't i don't have concerns. george clooney is a movie producer. he needs to produce movies. do you have any concerns about the president's mental acuity? i'm sorry. we have a meeting. i don't forgive me. i'm going to have no comment on this stuff, but thank you. someone like george clooney, who was just with the president, says you need a new nominee. i'm so sorry, i gotta run. thank you. look, concerns about president biden's mental fitness, my concern right now, i'm trying to get to this place, and you're kind of stopping me from getting to where i'm going. so far, joe biden's only response to clooney is to call him sleepy. watch in response to those comments from george
10:26 pm
clooney, jake, a campaign official who attended that los angeles fundraiser, tells me that george clooney left three hours before the president. so clearly the gloves are off. jake but what does that mean? that george clooney left three watts? what's the point? the point of that is to suggest that biden's stamina is better than clooney's and clooney didn't have, you know, eyes on the entire event. that's the response to the clooney op ed. okay, host of mornings with maria. maria bartiromo joins us now. maria, isn't this about money? if you're a hollywood guy and you're going to sink millions of dollars into the biden campaign, and then he falls apart, what are you supposed to do, just keep funding this losing campaign? yeah. and that's why i think that donors right now in hollywood are upset with george clooney. by the way, why is it that george clooney went ahead with that fundraiser, got all his friends to pony up millions of dollars? and then he tells us after, oh, this wasn't the, you know, joe biden of ten
10:27 pm
years ago. thanks, george. yeah. thanks, george. i already spent the money, right. i think i think it's interesting because the democrats always stick together. we've seen this over and over again. they get in line under nancy pelosi's leadership. they would get in line whatever policy it is. but now we see all of this division and they're not getting in line. but i think it's worth noting the reason. okay, so it was all on the debate stage for all of us to see what was happening and what has happened to joe biden. they're not upset with joe biden's policy. that's fine. 10 million illegals in the country on joe biden's watch. no problem. right now we're talking about people coming from africa with ties to isis, so much so that joe biden is actually coming out and saying, we might have to deport these people because there are ties to isis. that's no problem for the democrats wide open border. come on in. no problem. inflation up 20% on joe biden's watch again. no problem. for the democrats, it's only because now it was all in front of us for all of us to see. they know that he's going to lose to trump. it's optics. so
10:28 pm
it's all raw power. it's a performance. the performance wasn't up to speed and they are going to sacrifice their power. when you talk to the people on your show that have money and that are invested in the market, and they see what's going on, i mean, how do they process this? do you have a commander in chief who's literally falling apart? we all see it and we all know what has happened here. and, you know, as much as i think senator fetterman, you know, tried to make the best case possible for joe biden, it was dogmatic. it wasn't actually insightful. i mean, you know, he's sticking with the machine, but we all see what has happened to joe biden. and again, it's not because of policy. it's because they are afraid they're going to lose. it's not about caring about the american people. they care about losing their grip on power. and that's true about democracy because they're really willing to rip all of these primary votes away from these biden delegates and just throw them away. and that would throw away democracy completely. and they still claim that trump is the threat
10:29 pm
to democracy. meanwhile, they're doing it right now. we're just hearing some reporting that ezra klein, one of these liberal reporters, was talking to some of these top democrats, and they were basically like resigned to trump winning. and they're like, you know, we really don't think trump's a threat to democracy. we just kind of say that. oh, exactly. and they do just say it because they're afraid that, you know, they're losing their grip on power and they need something to say. business people tell me they care about policy. yes. they are afraid that this person is has his hands on the wheel and we have national security threats. yes, but they also worry about the policy of the democrat party. it doesn't matter who's going to be there, whether it's kamala or somebody else. it's the same policies. and that means $5.5 trillion in new taxes in the next four years. it means a wide open border, and it means threats to the homeland. and chuck schumer, who we just reported, according to three sources, said that he's open to having someone else besides joe biden be the nominee. just re scrambled. the entire message said, actually, no, no, no, no, no, i support joe biden. so
10:30 pm
even chuck schumer doesn't have a handle on what's going on. is joe biden winning or losing this brawl between him and his own party? well, i do think it's going to be hard to move him out of the way. you saw what miranda physically like, to take him out of the white house. well, that and also the fact that the family is digging in. you saw what miranda devine at the new york post wrote about, and eric schmidt, senator from missouri, told me on sunday, the fact that hunter biden is calling the shots, doctor jill biden is digging in. and, you know, i mean, it's going to be hard to get joe biden out of the way, particularly if it's kamala. what if there were a whistleblower to come forward? we had this guy on last night, j. cal, we call him that endearingly. if this was some guy from the national security council that blew the whistle and said, joe biden's falling asleep in the situation room, he's just not able to process the military's advice when they hand it to him. it's putting the national security at stake. do you think that could move the needle? yeah, i do, i watched that interview. that
10:31 pm
was an incredible interview last night. jesse and i was just waiting for the whistleblower to come on this show and explain it all to you, as he said. but yeah, there is going to be someone that comes out, i think, and says, okay, it's way too close to the election. we need a massive change. and it could be that that someone says, look, i've seen this all over. this has been the case for the last several years. we've known this. doctors have been talking about biden's condition for, what, several years now? there's been a massive cover up led by the media, and we know how good democrats are with whistleblowers. yeah, that's right. they're very, very effective. maria, we'll see you in the morning. thank you. so much. up next, the media officially un endorses joe biden. and here come those whistleblowers. oh, this is our night. shingles doesn't care. but shingrix protects. only shingrix is proven over 90% effective. shingrix is a vaccine used to prevent shingles in adults 50 years and older. shingrix does not protect everyone and is not for those with severe allergic

10:37 pm
interviewed the president, spent hours with him, revealed his true thoughts about biden. tmz got it on tape. watch. what do you think? do you think biden should step down? you talk to him more than anybody else have lately, and you could be honest. you don't think you can serve four more years. all right. that's an answer, isn't it? a journalist's job to tell the truth. how long has george been repressing these feelings? george apologized for telling the truth. quote, earlier today, i responded to a question from a passerby i shouldn't have. then abc news said this. george expressed his own point of view and not the position of abc news, even though he's like the chief political anchor of the networ. today, we're also finding out nbc's chuck todd has had a major scoop on biden in his pocket for years, but he kept it a secret. of course, until now. i had a cabinet secretary two years ago right. okay. two
10:38 pm
years ago, all out of the blue asked me, do you really think he's got he can't run again like this. and i said, well, you have more interaction with him and i do. and they said, i don't have a lot of interaction with him. this is a pretty senior cabinet secretary. so and this was two years ago. this is this is one of those, you know, it's the classic open secrets a conversation. right? it's the story everybody knows. and no one was. everybody was afraid to talk about. it's probably mayor pete. but so why is everybody so afraid to talk about it? power. couple of weeks ago, they said videos of biden wandering in italian fields were cheap fakes. now they say we knew biden was shot the whole time. if we said biden looks frail, they called us conspiracy kooks. now the media is inviting on doctors to say joe has parkinson's. he has just classic features of
10:39 pm
neurodegeneration. i mean, word finding difficulties and that's not oh, i couldn't find the word that's from degeneration of the word retrieval area. you notice when he turns, it's kind of end block turning. it's not a quick turn, so that's one of the hallmarks of parkinson's is rigidity and bradykinesia slow movement. his motor symptoms are degenerating. he has parkinson's isms. that is a fact. you know, he has degeneration of the brain. show me the mri. show me he doesn't. that's a fact. so why are we hearing about these facts now? because they think biden can't beat trump. they started telling the truth because they know how powerful the truth is. so powerful it can get them another candidate. mark my words, whistleblowers are coming. if biden doesn't drop out soon, they'll detonate his entire campaign. joe concha is a fox news contributor. so these anchors like stephanopoulos, they're just actors. they're just playing a role. they have totally different opinions behind the scenes, but they tell you
10:40 pm
they're not biased. is this pretty much everybody across the board? jesse, they're bad actors, like skinemax at 3:00 in the morning, kind of bad actors, i wouldn't know. it's cheesy stuff. i wouldn't i wouldn't know i wouldn't as well only write about that. that's true. wait, wait a minute. are you telling me that chuck todd spoke to a senior cabinet member two years ago, and he said, how can we run this guy again and didn't report it then? only now when its convenient after the debate. boy, that tells you a lot, isn't it? and to your point, jesse, a good theory around why the media has abandoned joe biden now is because he is expendable. they know he can't win. he's merely like a variable in an equation that ends in defeating donald trump. and it doesn't matter which variable is in the equation. that variable could be kamala harris, gavin newsom, gretchen whitmer, susan rice, jerry rice, rashee rice, donna rice, eddie rice. throw rice in there. right. i'd vote for jerry. the name doesn't matter. i'd vote for jerry rice, even though, i mean, full time, i know. so what if biden's poll
10:41 pm
numbers come back? i mean, they're not, but if they do, the media was just. they'll just forget about everything they said about the guy. they'll say he's totally recovered and he's going to make a great second term president. that's how pathetic this is. it's power or nothing, power or nothing. because then they get the perks. they get the access to the administration. they don't want a trump presidency as much as it makes them rich. and famous. it gives them better ratings, better book deals. they want the invites and they want the all of the accouterments as they say, that go along with being that close to power. exactly. the name doesn't matter. only the d next to the name matters. if it's biden, then so be it. as long as the democrat wins and trump doesn't get back to the oval, that's the whole ball game by any means necessary. but that's going to be the best part here. jesse, when all these democrats, all of these news outlets like the new york times, all these liberal commentators who came out in the strongest terms to say that biden should step aside because
10:42 pm
he doesn't have the mental fitness for the job, then turn around and endorse biden after he stays in, ends up getting the nomination. maybe his poll numbers go up a little bit at the convention in chicago next month. and they say, guys, you know what? forget about everything we said about biden. not having any business, being the commander in chief. actually, he's really the best man for the job because he'll save democracy from trump or something. i mean, that's going to be so fun to watch. if we had a doctor a month ago booked that said joe biden had parkinson's, we'd get killed. and nbc now is throwing on doctors to just diagnose him over the air. i mean, that's like against like it's against like the medical, what do they call that doctrine? i don't know, he's not a doctor, but it's against medical ethics. let's just put it that way, it doesn't matter. they don't have they don't have journalistic ethics either. joe concha, enjoy skinemax tonight. i don't watch it, i swear. me neither. i just heard about it. three trump's new kamala strategy right back. happy memories just

match right here. i will give him ten strokes a side and if he wins, i will give the charity of his choice any charity that he wants. $1 million. the charity's name is hunter biden. while democrats ignite their own civil war, trump and the republicans are sitting so pretty that 45 barely has to attack, he can sit back, watch the show, let the left do his dirty work for him, a republican close to the campaign telling variety. we can do the basement strategy, too. but that doesn't mean trump's taking time off. he has a new nickname laughing kamala laf i n apostrophe laughing as vice president kamala harris was given two jobs, two very important jobs actually. first, she was put in charge of the us border security and the border, and she never showed up. and then she was sent to europe to
10:49 pm
deter russia from attacking ukraine. how did that work out? not too good. trump wants you to know the party's strong and the vibes are immaculate. the republican party is bigger, stronger, more vibrant and more united than ever, ever, ever before. every day we are welcoming more americans to our ranks. african americans, hispanic americans, asian americans, young people, old people, union members, nonunion members. basically everyone is joining our movement because it's a movement of common sense. nikki haley just pledged all of her delegates to donald trump and ron desantis has a speaking slot at the conventio. trump taking a fat sharpie to the republican platform in milwaukee, removing any mention of a national abortion ban and making room to tolerate gay marriage. trump, not wanting to
10:50 pm
interfere with joe biden's disastrous news cycle, planning on announcing his vice presidential pick late this weekend, or even during the convention. joining me now, former democratic presidential candidate and vp contender tulsi gabbard, tulsi, johnny is freaking out. johnny is freaking out about kamala. he thinks if joe's gone, they're going to put kamala up there and they're going to do a day celebration for four months and she has a shot. are you afraid of kamala because trump's already turning his target toward him? i think our country should be very, very afraid of a president and commander in chief. kamala harris. i can't think of anybody else who is more unqualified to be president. and commander in chief than kamala harris. and i say this as an american and as a service member who still wears the uniform serving in the army reserve. this is this would be absolutely disastrous for the country, but it would
10:51 pm
also just be a continuation of what we've seen with joe biden's foreign policy. and how he's carried himself as commander in chief, because the reality is, and you know this well, jesse, is that whether it's joe biden or kamala harris, it's going to be the very same unelected people behind the scenes who are pulling the strings and making our foreign policy decisions that have been disastrous for our country. and undermined our national security and pushed us closer to the brink of nuclear war and nuclear armageddon. this should be a huge concern, but you'll see why president trump is now focusing on kamala harris is because he sees what the rest of us see is that whether it's joe biden at the top of the ticket, or if they bump up kamala harris to be on the top of the ticket, either scenario will result. if they win in a president kamala harris, the basement strategy donald trump mocked biden for being in the basement the last election and for his entire first four years. now he's
10:52 pm
laying low, not in the basement, but laying low. you think that's smart? i don't i don't i think that he sees that president biden is certainly self-imploding, and he's probably just taken a step back and allowing that to continue to occur. i don't i don't believe that that is his strategy. and i don't see him continuing to do that. i think i think it would be a mistake, quite frankly, to be complacent and think that if joe biden continues, then he's got this in the bag. we're still almost four months out from election day. a lot can happen between now and then, and even for those voters who may be leaving joe biden and saying, i don't think i'm going to vote for this guy or for the democrat ticket, that doesn't automatically equate to them making a decision to vote for president trump. so he's he's got he and his team have work to do to be able to attract and earn the support of those moderate women voters, of those independents, of those civil libertarians, people who are undecided and trying to determine what they want to do
10:53 pm
with their vote in this election. that's a very mature and thoughtful strategy. don't take anything for granted. i hope everybody adopts that strategy, because also johnny's freaking out about shenanigans. you know how the democrats are great with shenanigans and a lot of the ballots and the drop boxes still in play. no one knows what could happen. we have wanda's crawling all over the place. you've seen our reportage. are you worried about shenanigans? yes. yes. we should all be very vigilant. and it's not guesswork. we've seen how egregious and brazenly they have abused their power and weaponizing the department of justice and undermining the rule of law. i wouldn't put it past them to do anything they deem necessary to stay in power and beat trump. we cannot allow them to get away with it. all right? we won't. tulsi, thank you so much. thank you. jesse. more prime time next. victims
