beach area and heavy rain with this. heavy rainfall and potential for tornados throughout the day today. here are rainfall totals for south carolina. close to 20 inches here and potentially more rain in the forecast as the storm gets picked up by a cold front and pushed to the northeast. there we are friday morning, still friday morning in mid-atlantic region. by saturday, it starting to advance and picked up by that trough. here is rain still to come. five to eight inches, maybe a foot of rain depending where the trajectory leads the storm. we have a flash flood risk for thursday for parts of the carolinas, including wilmington and friday still lingering and mo

riding through san francisco streets. he was going slowly, a lot of tra traffic. the illegal alien was going in the opposite direction and tried to make a left-hand turn and my son was in the intersection and they collided. my son was barely moving, was not going the fast. had he stopped, my son would be alive. they collided, my son flew over his car and he tried to flee. he accelerated, driving over my son's body. my son's helmet had come off, he backed up and drove over him a second time and then went forward a third time.

for 30 days, it costs too much to get the car out. he could have bought another car, he could have driven again, which he did. got the car out in less than 18 hours, the city gave his car back, which is violation of the law. gallow was in the country illegally and given temporary protective status and with that, one felony or two misdemeanors and you get deported. he would have had a misdemeanor and maybe driven more carefully. >> carley: may not have been in jail, either wouldn't have had a car or -- you don't know the what-ifs, it might not have been what happened to your son. your son's life mattered.

full stop. there was a grave miscarriage of the justice that took place, something in the system did not work. politics do come into play. kamala harris is running for president on law and order campaign, saying she used to be a prosecutor, fighting crime, prosecutor for president candidate. when you hear her say those things, what goes through your head? >> she's a liar. nothing more than that. look, as d.a., she did not follow the law. she failed up to attorney general. she did not follow the law. now she's vice president and she does not follow the law. there is no reason we should think as president she will follow the law. my son's case is not an out liar, they were not prosecuted anyone in san francisco at the

time and still don't if they are in the country illegally. if not, you will get prosecuted. california is strict about driving without a license. it is necessarys to prevent unlicensed drivers from driving. she does not follow that either. at the time, 7500 people per year were getting killed by unlicensed drivers, not all illegal aliens. you don't take that as a serious crime? there is something wrong. >> carley: there is. other part of this i want to bring up. this illegal was charged with felony vehicular homicide and charges were reduced and he served just 43 days in jail. as a father, i cannot imagine how you handled that outcome on

understand the root cause of the problem. nasa had a one and a half hour briefing to the media yesterday on this. i listened to the full one and a half hours and i'm convinced boeing has several ideas for what the failure mechanisms are, but they don't understand the root cause and i'm not sure they can predict when and how the failures will occur and that is critical. >> joey: doctor, it seems the experts and engineers are split. boeing is standing behind integrity of the vehicle and in nasa some agree and some don't. who makes the ultimate call if they get on boeing craft or wait for space x? >> well, the way it sounds, bill nelson thinks, hes he is the person to make the final

decision. if i was the ceo of boeing, new ceo of boeing, i would take a leadership position and seeing how he has to really change culture at boeing, good way to do that is sit down with technical people, bring outside help and technical fellows and bring in the manager, mark nappi, and go over the data and understand why did boeing make these decisions and how did they make the decision? why did they decide to fly with a helium leak and why did they certify thrusters and find out they had over temperature conditions and were heating up and getting too hot. what was missing in the test sequence that now they see when they go back and do theest its, these are serious problems.
