one for kamala was three and a half years ago. why hasn't she done it. by repealing the biden-harris regulatory onslaught we can save an estimated $20,000. you are talking about a tremendous amount, 6, 7, $8,000 a year just in savings. so, to get to economic relief, to workers and families, we will make additional tax cuts. that's that what gave us the great economy. we will make tax cuts additionally. we will make them permanent. >> lawrence: real quickly, we were just talking of the back drop of donald trump whether it says no tax on tips, no tax on social security. they have obviously lifted no tax on tips from donald trump without giving him credit for it. but the no tax on social security is interesting because, remember, one of the left's talking points is that he is going to end social security. so now he has come out and said he is not going to tip on social security. that puts them in a box.

are they going to match his policy? and i'm not sure they can really use the same old talking point that he wants to get rid when he is saying no taxes. >> ainsley: he brought up a good point he said quote this cruel double taxation of social security benefit. >> lawrence: it's true. >> ainsley: we are taxed in our paychecks. money taken out to get to social security. then we get our social security checks after a certain age and then taxed again. >> will: yeah. that's double taxation. here is a bit of good news for donald trump. there has been talk about kamala momentum. she is in this honeymoon period. according to the new fox news poll, we know the economy is the overwhelming number one issue for voters, followed by immigration and abortion. when asked who they trust on those top three jobs, well donald trump comes out on top on two out of the three. border security up 19 points. immigration at large up 14 points. and then if you go down to the economy, most important one to voters, 38% of voters put that

at number one. donald trump up 6 points. >> ainsley: if you look at that trump does border with border, immigration, foreign policy, economy crime and guns. the issues people are most concerned with. kamala is trusted more with supreme court, uniting the country, healthcare and climate change. >> i'm sure polling when this comes to the supreme court it's linked to what happened with roe v. wade and a lot of progressives are concerned about that. i'm wondering because also when you look at the overall polling, it looks like donald trump is up by 1 point. but he is also up by, i think, 5 points. >> ainsley: 8 points. >> lawrence: with independents. that really shocked me. i have said from the very beginning, i'm not really buying the whole momentum. i think it's a tight race. i'm not sure kamala is in the lead as some people have projected it to be. so when you go state by state and you look at the real clear averages, donald trump is still leading with the state.

so let's see what happens, obviously. but i'm not sure the no sitdowns, the lack of interviews, the lack of press conferences, the same old canned speech at the rally is going to do the fix for voters. >> ainsley: well, we have two more months left. a little more than two more months. i think the real test is going to be after the debates. we will see what the polling looks like after they debate and tim walz has said i'll debate on october 1st against j.d. vance. j.d. said last night laura ingraham i have known about this for three hours. i'm definitely going to debate. we need to work out all the details i'm not sure if october 1st is going to work but we will figure it out. >> will: now to a fox news alert. anti-israel protesters causing chaos to a rally supporting vice president kamala harris in new york yesterday. >> ainsley: protesters raising some signs with the words palestine will be free and calling for a cease-fire while it was not an official campaign event, top democrats, including new york's mayor, eric adams and the governor, kathy hochul were

they could not protect them. then, when they finally invited the nypd in to do some arrests, they let all the people out. there was no charges. >> will: she wrote in her letter that it has always been a period of turn oil overcome divergent views. i have tried to treat everyone with fairness and compassions we must do all we can to resist the forces of polarization in our community. at this point the tally is how many university presidents dating back to those protests? it's almost all of them that appeared before congress and hosted many of these -- when i say hosted tolerated many of these protests. >> ainsley: she was the last one to hang on. here are the four that testified in front of congress in april. the harvard president ended up stepping down so did the university of pennsylvania and cornell university. now all of them are out. >> lawrence: we're going to be following, obviously, because of what is going to be happening next week, but school is about

making a my disney account, subscribers are agreeing to never sue the company. he filed a lawsuit after his wife a 42-year-old doctor died from a severe allergic reaction to after eating in a restaurant in disney springs last october. he claims the restaurant was negligent because they told the waiter about his wife's severe dairy and knut a nut several ti. when signed up for a one month free trial on disney plus in 2019, he agreed to the writing in that motion the terms of use which were provided with the subscriber agreement include a binding arbitration clause. the first page of that agreement states in all capital letters that any dispute between you and us, except for small claims, is subject to a class action waiver and must be resolved by individual binding arbitration, meaning the lawsuit should be moved out of the courts. the attorneys argue it's absurd to believe 150 million subscribers to disney plus have

thunderstorm has passed puerto rico dangerous heat now threatening more than 400,000 pupuerto ricans living on the island without power and they could be without it for several days to come. that is the reality following what was tropical storm ernesto, of course, electric crews out trying to repair the situation following some damage to the island, including, of course, some downed trees. but, flooding one of the major impacts some of the mountainous regions of the u.s. territory. governor lucy yesterday also letting us know that more than 300,000 people are still without running water and we're looking at a heat index today in the triple digits. that is a dangerous, if not life-threatening situation for those who don't have those basic resources. it is absolutely top of mind in priority here. but, unfortunately, we are told, it could still take days to get everyone back on the grid. >> will: all right, nicole. thanks for that update.

we will keep up with it. go over to janice dean who has been tracking that storm. janice? >> janice: take a look at it. close to a foot of rain which is what we forecast yesterday for puerto rico and we had wind gusts in excess of 85 miles per hour. so, this, you know, this hit them hard it wasn't a hurricane. but it is now a category 1. and we are expecting it to strengthen to possibly category 3 as it makes a beeline towards bermuda. here is what we know power outages for puerto rico and u.s. virgin islands expected do strengthen as it he approaches bermuda over the next few days. feel those as well as reaching the east coast and cause the potential for life-threatening rip currents and surf. here is the latest track. get a new update at 8:00 a.m. eastern. canada needs to watch this, of course, and bermuda as they could take a direct hit from this storm. also looking at the potential of showers and thunderstorms, even some severe weather for parts of the midwest. all right, ainsley. over to you. >> ainsley: good deal. thank you so much. a new match up with you the same result. former president trump leading harris by one point in this

>> yeah, when she says that she is willing to tackle inflation on day one. that's like someone who lights a house on fire and then conveniently calls the fire department and wants all the credit for somehow saving the remnants of what they have destroyed. kamala harris was the last vote to get the inflation induction act. it's called the inflation reduction acted over the finish line which really boosted inflation and caused a lot of damage for americans across the country. and, when you look at this polling, it's quite interesting to see that with all of the money moon talk and all of the favorable conch of kamala harris, she still is losing to donald trump. and when it comes to these swing states, like michigan, pennsylvania, wisconsin, the number one issue for people is the economy. and so you are going to have these battling visions, i guess, if she ever comes out to speak about what her vision will be about how to move the country forward. she has already copied president trump on the no tax on tips issue. it seems like she is going to try to run away from bidenomics in a way but also embrace many of the far left policy positions
