are they going to match his policy? and i'm not sure they can really use the same old talking point that he wants to get rid when he is saying no taxes. >> ainsley: he brought up a good point he said quote this cruel double taxation of social security benefit. >> lawrence: it's true. >> ainsley: we are taxed in our paychecks. money taken out to get to social security. then we get our social security checks after a certain age and then taxed again. >> will: yeah. that's double taxation. here is a bit of good news for donald trump. there has been talk about kamala momentum. she is in this honeymoon period. according to the new fox news poll, we know the economy is the overwhelming number one issue for voters, followed by immigration and abortion. when asked who they trust on those top three jobs, well donald trump comes out on top on two out of the three. border security up 19 points. immigration at large up 14 points. and then if you go down to the economy, most important one to voters, 38% of voters put that

at number one. donald trump up 6 points. >> ainsley: if you look at that trump does border with border, immigration, foreign policy, economy crime and guns. the issues people are most concerned with. kamala is trusted more with supreme court, uniting the country, healthcare and climate change. >> i'm sure polling when this comes to the supreme court it's linked to what happened with roe v. wade and a lot of progressives are concerned about that. i'm wondering because also when you look at the overall polling, it looks like donald trump is up by 1 point. but he is also up by, i think, 5 points. >> ainsley: 8 points. >> lawrence: with independents. that really shocked me. i have said from the very beginning, i'm not really buying the whole momentum. i think it's a tight race. i'm not sure kamala is in the lead as some people have projected it to be. so when you go state by state and you look at the real clear averages, donald trump is still leading with the state.

thunderstorm has passed puerto rico dangerous heat now threatening more than 400,000 pupuerto ricans living on the island without power and they could be without it for several days to come. that is the reality following what was tropical storm ernesto, of course, electric crews out trying to repair the situation following some damage to the island, including, of course, some downed trees. but, flooding one of the major impacts some of the mountainous regions of the u.s. territory. governor lucy yesterday also letting us know that more than 300,000 people are still without running water and we're looking at a heat index today in the triple digits. that is a dangerous, if not life-threatening situation for those who don't have those basic resources. it is absolutely top of mind in priority here. but, unfortunately, we are told, it could still take days to get everyone back on the grid. >> will: all right, nicole. thanks for that update.
