if police bring in a bad guy, we need people who are going to lock those guys up and put them behind bars. it is simple common sense. we know what happens when we don't have leadership who support law enforcement. we saw in kenosha. you know this better than i do. four years ago, kenosha had terrible riots after a police shooting and who was the president of the united states that promised he would send in law enforcement if asked? that was donald trump. who pacified the streets of wisconsin and ensure those riots did not spiral out of control and burn down the city? that was donald trump. we know the governor did not want little support from trump, but after a couple of days of riots, he relented and did the smart thing and allowed trump to support, to send federal support. without that, i think kenosha

presidency. the first is wisconsin is a great and proud manufacturing state with a lot of skilled craftsmen and people who work with their hands and they know with kamala harris' policies, you are shipping good manufacturing jobs off to china. we ought to keep those right here in wisconsin. let's deal with wisconsin workers and produce prosperity for the whole country. you saw with the riots in kenosha, wisconsin has suffered when you don't have good, smart, pro-public safety leadership and that is what we want to bring back to the white house. back in the blue, support our police officers. i think that message is going to bring wisconsin home to republicans in 2024 and it will make donald trump the president of the united states again. yes. it is very important.

when my kids came up here for the convention for five weeks ago, the one place they wanted to go was the cheese castle. how many have you been to the cheese castle? my kids have been, the first time they ever came was with my girlfriend, now my wife. every time we come back, we have to stop at the wisconsin cheese castle. >> this is the second endorsement from local law enforcement here. why is that so important to you and your campaign? >> law enforcement knows who is on their side. donald trump has been endorsed by so many organizations across the country and now two and the state of wisconsin the past week because they know donald trump is going to stand up for them and support them. we have got real problems in law enforcement recruitment in

this country and certainly in the state of wisconsin. a lot of the police departments are underfunded and under resourced. on top of that, we have mexican drug cartels operating as far north as kenosha, wisconsin, because kamala harris refuses to do her job. these guys want common sense back. maybe they agree or disagree with us on tax policy, but they agree with us that we have to have common sense public safety. if we don't have public safety, we don't have anything. you can't take your kids on a walk in your neighborhood without public safety. it is the foundation of having a good country and the police of wisconsin knows donald trump is the public safety candidate. a few more locals. >> there is a big event happening not too far away from

here in chicago. did you catch any of the dnc last night? what were your thoughts? >> my immediate thought was all the people booing. i watched bits and pieces. we were out campaigning yesterday. i got home a little on the later side yesterday. i watched some of it. i will say, the contrast between the public safety policies is striking and almost a joke they held in chicago, which has become the murder capital of the united states of america thanks to failed democratic leadership. last weekend in chicago, you had something like 40 shootings and 17 people who lost their lives. that is not something we would accept in a third world country much less one of our great american cities like chicago. my theory about why they decided to have the convention in chicago, tim walz says he has
10:10 am
been serving in war. chicago, they have violent crime statistics that mirror third world highly violent countries. public safety is the birthright of every citizen in this cou country. nobody should be growing up in a community where you have a murder rate like that and it is a good contrast between the policies of kamala harris that promote violent crime and the criminals who do it in the policies of donald trump, who promote peace and prosperity and want to throw the violent criminals behind bars. that is what donald trump wants to do and i share that. anybody else here? >> i am with fox six news in milwaukee. going off the dnc,

vice president, harris is paying a visit to milwaukee. do you have response to that? >> no response. she is going to run the campaign she runs. i wish she would do what i am doing now, which is talk to the media and answer tough ques questions. if you think what i am doing here right now, what am i asking? i am asking for the fine people gathered to vote for me to be their vice president of the united states. what an awesome responsibility and an incredible thing i am asking them to do. kamala harris is asking people to be their president of the united states but she won't answer a question or interact with the american people unless there is a teleprompter between them and her and that is crazy. what the media has got to start doing as it has to start saying
10:12 am
look, if she is not going to stand and answer questions, we are going to stop giving her this coverage demand that she do what any president has had to do, which is answer tough questions. her argument, i cannot get over this. you watch her rallies and her argument is something i could not say with a straight face. she says on day one, she is going to tackle the housing affordability crisis in our country. on day one, she is going to tackle the grocery affordability problems in our country. you have been the vice president for three and a half years so what have you been doing that time? for the people in milwaukee who are going to her rally and listen to what she says, if she had such good ideas for how to bring down the cost of food and

10:14 am
don't want is -- we don't want somebody to have their gun rights taken away when they haven't been in a court of law. whether it is a first amendment right, second amendment right, any right, you are entitled to due process. the criticisms i have seen of that, people who are convicted of a crime, they should not be able to carry a firearm but people who have not gone through due process still have their rights. that is an important distinction between our approach on the democrat approach. we don't believe you should take people's rights away unless they have gone through a court of l law. >> donald trump >> guys, she is one of the good reporters. she is okay. >> donald trump has enlisted the help of tulsa gabbard.
10:15 am
how are you prepping for your debate with tim walt's. who is helping you and how are you prepping? >> i found a friend from home who embellishes and lies a lot and i am having him stand in for tim walz. what we are going to do, we are going to focus on policy. the way i am trying to prepare is to make sure we are prepared to answer the american people's question on how we are going to make their lives better, their community safer, how are we going to bring back prosperity and low prices and focus on policy and answer whatever questions the moderators have. on trunk, we have to remember, tulsa gabbard was a democratic congress woman. she ran against kamala harris in 2020 and now she is behind the trump vance ticket.
10:16 am
we are the ticket that is supported by common sense people across the spectrum. tulsa gabbard basically ended, love's campaign on the debate stage. she believes in common sense things things like we should not send america's sons and daughters off to fight in stupid wars. it is telling that they campaign that has brought a lot of democrats and republicans and independents together is the campaign of donald trump. we will do one more question. >> i had a question. last year you got attention for visiting striking members in ohio. last night, they attacked you at the dnc and donald trump. do you believe they will attract more union voters and what is the strategy to do that? >> my message to sean and any other leader of the labor

gas-powered cars. people ought to be able to drive whatever they want. we don't tell people what to do. if we don't tell people what to do, they are going to be able to buy cars that are made in america with american workers doing the jobs and that is why i think we are going to win the majority of union and nonunion workers in this country. whatever sean says, the membership is behind donald trump and a lot of other workers who are the same position. what i will say finally to wrap up, god bless you guys. thank you for coming out. i get so much joy and energy out of being here and meeting people and getting to talk to people and seeing what is going on. we are going to win this race in november. it is going to start here in wisconsin. what i would ask all of you is,

a big part of the blue wall kamala harris is hoping will stay in place for her come november 5th. as we noted today, for the second time now, the trump campaign getting the endorsement of a police association. we all remember what happened in that city back in 2020 when the riots destroyed a big part of downtown. >> you saw a split screen, saw donald trump arriving in michigan. he was speaking outside the kenosha county courthouse. at one point he had the republican senate candidate and brian style there. he brought in the sheriff with a focus on crime and safety and the immigration problem. he was pointing out in stark

the president will probably talk about what is happening in chicago with crime and these bigger cities as he lays out his crime policy. the trump campaign has been blasting kamala harris and her record on crime. as the d.a. and the vp in this administration and they have been disputing the fbi reporting that crime is down, saying she is relying on highly incomplete data to make inaccurate claims about crime. the harris campaign, not talking about policy, but blasting trump for choosing howell, michigan as his venue. when he was in grand rapids, about a dozen white supremacists showed up and they were chanting things like we love trump. folks who live here are telling
