rachel: it's the 7:00 a.m. hour of "fox & friends" weekend starting with this, rfk jr. suspended his campaign and endorsed former president trump. with both men teaming up to address america's diet and what's in our food. i interviewed rfk jr. in a possible about that and a possible role in the trump administration. will: on the other side, harris and walz campaign announced first stop in georgia as part of the new bus tour. after 34 days, kamala harris not given a formal interview and we barely know her policies and break down the biggest question the american people still have. pete: the maker of jack daniels becoming the latest american company to cut dei initiatives. look at what's the cause corporate america to re-embrace common sense. what's caused it? second hour of "fox & friends" weekend starts right now.

dozens and worst on the products and i want to -- i look at strawberry and i think this is a healthy food. most of these are certified organic and you are getting something that's actually hurting you. rachel: what can be done at a government level to stop this so people get healthy? >> as president, i'll issue an executive order on day one that anybody that is recommending food products in usda or fda at any of those committees, if you're on the committees, you have to have no conflict of interest. we spend five times our military budget on chronic disease and we're the sickest population in the world and if you wonder why? why do we have these epidemics of adhd and depression and all these kind of psychiatric illnesses that have linked by

side effects to these kinds of foods, to the ingredients in the foods and why have these neurological disorders and this epidemic of autoimmune disease. rachel: these pro products are geared towards children and it's really tragic and it's like you're putting them at a very early age on this pathway to chronic disease and then at the end of that, is pharma to sort of cure whatever the food did to you. >> the advisers that choose a nutrition guidelines are almost all corrupted. they're conflicted. rachel: are you willing to take on a position like this in the trump administration as health czar? >> well, normally the -- one way i'm fighting to get this out of our food and we have a generation of kids swimming in a toxic soup and we're betraying them and we're supposed to be taking care of our kids. we're letting these industries corrupt our agencies and mass

capture. will: "fox & friends" reached out to the fda and they said "we've reviewed effects of color additives and most children have no adverse effects when consuming food when containing color additives but some evidence suggests that certain children may be sensitive to them and reassessing chemicals and food as new relevant data is available is a priority for da,. the agency is hosting a public meeting in september and a look at post-assessment of chemicals in food". pete: fda goes on with another statement here about the percentage number sayings and claiming that 75% of fda budget is from regulated industries and saying it's not accurate. user fees only make up 47% of the fda.

budget from the food's program comes from mostly federal appropriations and 1% of user fees. rachel: it's important to note that in the food coloring topic that food coloring is notes allowed in europe and my daughter served a semester in rrome and was eating the food in her cafeteria and felt bad and comes home and feels good and went to rome for a semester and never felt better. something is wrong with our food supply. we are making our citizens fatter, sicker. we have more -- we spend more than any other country on healthcare and yet we have our citizens are sicker and starting at a very young age and starting with formula and putting them on processed foods. all the way to adulthood and no

>> it's not legal and let's be clear, it's the notion of forced diversity based on race in employment has always been suspect. now, there's civil rights laws that state you can't discriminate. there's title 7 of civil rights act, which says you can't discriminate based on race, but dei take it is a lot further and basically sets these rigid standards, which essentially violates title 7. showing in the book and it's companies and last part of the book is that companies went sort of nuts on dei following the george floyd killing and very

rigid and went from the very top of board members down to suppliers. supreme court ruling on unfirmtive action and going as it applies to moment, it's not totally unwound. one reason that you had a trans woman in a bubble bath drinking butt wiser in a commercial was because of dei. people stopped buying the beer. pete: it's really bad for the bottom line and these businesses are opening themselves up to litigation from their own employees who feel like they may be left behind or passed over because of some dei initiative.
