switch was let's put in kamala harris for joe biden. idella switched out who the incumbent is. i think president trump needs a bella put her on the defensive and very, very soon. the good news is she has not done anything amazing yet. bear with me for a second period she is riding a wave of relief it's not joe biden at the top of the ticket. she brought home soft democrats. she performed with a teleprompter. she did find she did not make any mistakes. but the hard part starts now for she's got to be able to demonstrate she has political dexterity and agility and a give-and-take campaign environment and i don't think she's done that yet. that is what we need to look forward to starting this week. shannon: debate prep is underway per one of the trump team is using former congresswoman who really sparred with then senator harris when they were on the debate stage seattle see how that works. i want to bring this up this

note the more he said more federal ban also this week talking about the comstock act will not use federal action to block abortion pills going to the mail. their minutes in the pro-life community started a little frustrated with him. politico quotes tony perkins of the family research council thing this it is not a pro-life position is not acceptable position and it does not provide the contrast on this issue to the degree we had in the path between him and kamala harris. president trump is doing is suppressing his own support. molly is not necessary pro-lifers will vote for vice president harris but do they stay home? lex yes pro-lifers are very pleased with president trump or how he ran his first administration. they are very grateful for what he give judges and other issues there is no question that kamala harris the only policy talked about on stage at the democratic inventors abortion are all nine months of pregnancy up until the moment of birth. not a single protection for any

child the amount of the circumstances. that is a strong contrast president trump should understand his the space of sups include these people who care about violence in the womb i want to protect children and their mothers. he should be mindful of how much help you get to most people and not discourage them. shannon: richard i see you shaking your head and were almost at a time attempt democrats articulate anything short of what molly said. >> a couple points i really agree with mr. perkins by do a group in here. i do think in terms of pigment to get independence he's losing voters. republicans continue to make this argument the abortion after birth. shannon: up to just to be clear we just had jared polis out up already signed amends or as tim walster to minn minnesota's alld abortion any time during pregnancy. >> those are very, very, very rare cases in a case where mother gets in a car accident life of the mother the life of the baby. those doctors make them very rare cases the idea these are happening every single day in hospitals across america is a

total misnomer. shannon: i will tightly group bliss not conservatives of this thousands of these in here. shannon: thousand when there's 300 americans -- the protection of children. an elaborate poll after poll after poll and ballot issue after ballot issue after ballot issue is the american people set on the side of a woman and her doctor making the best decision for them over the government making that decision. shannon: are number of the thinking critical states will seal that plays out because they're on a lot of ballot initiatives in the fall. do not go anywhere. we've got this multiple secret service agents are now on leave following the assassination attempt on former president trump last month for a table assesassess a new revelation swe two events on monday and getting more information on exactly how this happened, next.

>> the fbi and the secret service are moving at a snail's pace. they're acting like this is a one-time incident that we can take our time to really unpack it. no, these subplots are happening right now as we speak. we have a foreign enemy trying to kill our former president. we need to be releasing information as we get it and they moved need to move a lot faster my view protects congressmen on fox and friends yesterday pushing for a swifter more transparent probe into the attempted assassination of former president trump. 5a secret service nurse and put on leave following the incident that left trump wounded couric dead into others is seriously injured were back in with our panel. while you were fired up during the commercial break progress what happened with president trump really being assassinated with dramatic not just for him and his family, but the entire country we came within centimeters of a horrific situation. you had again rfk junior onto

the top of the art we also would happen with his father and uncle. seeing that on live television is traumatic for people. a washington d.c. the permanent d.c. apparatus is not that interested in what happened even as normal americans are horrified by it at her office to the fbi secret service cannot investigate themselves and their own failings in this matter. but congress needs to do more. that media need to do far more be far more interested in the situation in the political climate that leads to these type of situations. shannon: a couple things have service senator hawley has yet another w with the voice of the scum a letter to the acting director of the secret servicing vessel whistleblower with knowledge of the planning of the whole thing alleges officials at secret service headquarters and current encourage agents in charge of the trip not to request any additional security assets in its formal manpower request effectively denying these assets through informal means. goes on to write a row had told him no security assets have been denied.

so he said he needs and explanation something is in conflict for parts of the american people deserve an explanation for this but if you look would have at a former president trump it is heartbreaking versus what happened to the last time we see in the assassination attack was rattled right in the 80s the contrast cannot be starker i say that in the world in which the heroic picture many of celebrated did not happen or the reagan assassination because the secret service moves swoop as it ronald reagan out of it there is not time for a photo. in this scene but we saw three weeks ago three or four maybe five or six different photos taken that should not have been allowed in the world are trying to get a protective to a safe zone when there's an active shooter. there's a lot of questions that should be asked. i agree with molly this is very disgusting congress should move up after the secret service to move a lot faster to get the american people the answers they deserve this is an utter failure. shannon: congressman higgins was a little when he found the secret service did not receive a radius him and set aside by butler county tactical command even though they had been
11:52 am
reminded to do so by butler county tactical command the day before in the morning of the shooting according to higgins will have the bipartisan group from the house visit butler tomorrow. there's another form happening with other members of congress you can't hold a hearing but something else to say they're running in parallel. but hard to get anything done here in washington. >> right it is an election year. right now congress is out they've been out for several weeks out they will be back in september. it is also an appropriations process and that is just to your point like what's happening in this town heading into the november election the present of the nine states has said he wants to see a thorough and transparent investigation because to richard's point he believes the american people need to know what happened here so it certainly all of our eyes will be on this. shannon: this morning will woke up to if you were not up late last night to the news on the international stage, michael that hezbollah and israel were
11:53 am
trading f fired that hundred of their jets flew over hezbollah targeted what they had been told was a preparation for some 6000 potential missiles coming their way. >> that is right. israel of course making a preemptive strike in part to take out this hezbollah capability. imagine here in the ice age of 10% of our territory were inaccessible because one of our neighbors was able to arrange it with rockets or missiles, israel cannot live forever they honestly cannot live another year with hezbollah able to attack their territory. this is why netanyahu said will happen last night is just the beginning of the end. i expect the regional situation to possibly escalate as israel feels like they need to go more into lebanon to push hezbollah back up. by the way this is the right way to do it the way we put al qaeda back on their heels was a keep a boot on their throat all think
11:54 am
israel knows that is the best solution for them moving forward. shannon: how wordy about the escalation you talk about? around is warning we are still going to unleash our retribution on israel for the hamas leader taken out. there's a lot of threat flying back and forth here. >> i'm still concerned why ronald tried to do something beyond what they already do every day. which is active through their proxies. i believe they feel like they look weak because israel was able to target one of their top terrorist proxies in their guest guesthouse for their administration. i feel like they need to do that to show their toughness. they want to restore deterrence also. i think iran is to try to figure out a couple different things. how do we get through and not embarrass ourselves with missiles and drones? but not get there in such a way that israel wants to come back and attack us. they do not want a total war because they would lose and so they have to walk this line it is very tight. shannon: at the like what they
11:55 am
did in april, i think it was, they did a lot of high ron was able to say we did unleash on them. there's a weird choreography th seems to happen sometimes. in the meantime i want to put up a look at some assets we have in the region. francesca this is cool as of the white house has got to do with what you make of the criticism was a general kellogg's thing essentially this administration is not handled this well. >> the president continues to po get updates on this he sent brown to the raising of a cover just for a second talk about the cease-fire and hostage negotiations as well that are taken place in the region right now you have the president who called netanyahu on wednesday to try to press him on the finer points. we have not seen inside those negotiations and they keep saying they are getting closer, we do not know that we have not seen that fence with the white house has been the key pepe1 back-and-forth between hamas and andthat can sometimes takes days
