into the thanksgiving holiday. there are some certain times you need to be aware of when it comes to beating the traffic. so let's break that down for you. wednesday before thanksgiving from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. is the worst time to travel. that's pretty much rush hour. and you don't want to be stuck in that if you are leaving on wednesday. so go in the morning before 11, if you can, on on thanksgiving, a little similar, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. is the worst time to be hitting the road, especially if you are going anywhere from maybe here to sacramento or the mountains or the valley. the best advice there, again, leave early in the same applies when you're coming home as well on black friday after thanksgiving, noon to 4 p.m. will be the worst time to travel on the roads. you'll want to drive around around that time frame, either 11:00 am before that or 7 p.m. later in the night. and if you're waiting for the weekend to travel from thanksgiving to drive home 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. is not the good time to be doing it. your best bet is also early before noon. let's hear from triple a who also say leaving
6:38 am
early will be your best plan. wednesday has notoriously been the worst day to be on the roads before thanksgiving and that time frame between 2 and 6 p.m. is the worst time to be on the road, because at that point, you're mixing holiday travelers on the roads with commuters, people who have to work on wednesday. now, good news for road travelers is renting a car is about 20% cheaper this year. gas prices are also down nationwide, which is something we love to see before the holiday rush. also anybody planning to go to a circle k gas station? they're having a special promotion where it's going to be $0.40 off per gallon here on the west coast on certain times. and certain days. so if you are hitting the road, we don't have many of them here in the bay area. but anything you can do to save some few extra dollars that's going to be coming in handy as you hit the roads this week. we're live at sfo. ryan curry, abc seven news. >> thank you, ryan. in the middle east, a second hospital in gaza has become a battleground in the war. israel
