you. we are live here inside of oracle park. where really it has been transformed into this monster jam arena. they've checked in more than 300 truckloads of dirt to get ready for this weekend. and right now, we're joined by adam anderson. he is the driver of the very famous grave digger. many of you might know it. it's been around for decades. so adam, i realize this is a family affair for you. where did the grave digger actually. life my entire life. >> and i lived on the road as a child. my dad's first hauler actually had a crib built into it. um, and you know, i went from wearing diapers. i'm probably still going to wear diapers when i end my career in monster jam, but i started my career in diapers and my entire family does it as well. my siblings, um, i have two other brothers and a sister, and they all compete behind the wheel of grave digger. um, and it's pretty unbelievable that all of us. i think the only reason we
6:41 am
still get along is because we actually travel so much, and we don't get to see each other, so we're excited to see each other. um, but it's a great family affair. and then also for the other families, there's multiple generations now of these families that have been coming out here that, you know, maybe their dad or their grandfather started when they were watching my dad behind the wheel of grave digger. now, here they are. they're starting to make me feel old because i'm seeing the kids grow up and now have their own kids. um, and that's it's not hard. it's very endearing. i love it, um, and it does keep me coming back. you know, the pit parties, when the families can come out up close and personal to the trucks. but it's us as well. and then we end up creating these relationships that last for, you know, for years and years to come. >> wow. that is incredible. and i do want to talk a little bit about the noise here around oracle park in san francisco. there's a good reason why you haven't turned on the engine before 7:00. and that's because san francisco has a noise ordinance. these trucks are so loud they would violate the noise ordinance. is that correct ? >> right, i guess so, and i don't get that because where i
6:42 am
come from, we don't have one of those. but at the same time, you know, and it is they are loud, but it's not as aggressive as you think as far as once you're in the sand stands and you're able to sit back and watch it, but you can feel it, you can feel it in your chest. um, there's visually impaired people. that's one of my favorite things to do, not only to come up and show them the truck and let them feel the custom paint job. you can feel the brush strokes, but then also they always tell me that when they're in the stands and they watch this event, they do not watch. they can feel it. they can feel the event. and i'm like, that is an amazing thing. so it's pretty cool to be able to give that to somebody, to give that back. but the entire family can come out and they can feel the power of grave digger and all the other monster jam trucks. what are you most excited about this weekend when this all kicks off? this is the season kickoff for our points championship series. the thing i'm most excited about is actually, i have never been on tour with one of my siblings and competed against them. i've been at some events with them, but my brother that drives the son of a

digger truck. i'm most excited about having him here because we work together as a team, but when it comes down to it, i don't care if my grandmother was on the other side. i want to take him out. oh yeah. >> okay. all right. well, we are looking forward to it, adam. and if you at home are interested in coming to monster jam this weekend, it's happening at oracle park. it kicks off tomorrow with a pit party at 1230. doors open at 330, and the event starts at five on sunday. doors open at 1230 and it starts at two in the afternoon. noon. tickets for this weekend start at just $20 live in san francisco. lena howland, abc seven news over adam saying his grandma could get it going down if she was in the competition. >> look, that's how it goes, not grandma. >> it's truck first, then family. can you ask adam if he's afraid of the megalodon? is that another one of the trucks? >> um. our anchors want to know. are you afraid of megalodon? is that one of the trucks? no no, it's a grave digger. >> no, it doesn't matter where you go, we can bury them in the sea to. >> oh, he will bury him in the
